    VERY unorganized STORE...
    Randy G.

Not really well organized and prices seem to be higher on some of the items than I'm used to. Took pictures of how the shoes are organized...why would you stack shoes like that? Also, all the other Rack stores i go to leave the shoes in boxes.... If they cleaned it up a bit maybe I'd look again...

Pretty well organized store. Lots of employees seem to be here either organizing or standing around. The selection is decent, but other locations seem to have more to choose from. Very limited hand bag and accessories selection. I was in here for a long time, but didn't buy anything.

Burberry Brit skirt for $40? Yes please.

This might be the best NR I've ever been to. Numerous Prada and Rayban sunglasses, shoes for my kids, designer clothes... I live in CA and our NRs don't have as many selections as this one. I bought 2 pairs of shoes for my kids, a pair of Theory pants, Eileen Fisher pants, a pair each of Prada and Oliver Peoples sunnies, a Vince top, a Makali jacket and two Wacoal bras for $435. Very decent price for the quality of items I bought.

Miss Me jeans Normally $100. Mine for $49.97.

Wow do they have shoes! I wear a 7 so this size is usually picked over. The selection includes Keens, UGGS, and Coach shoes. Some even on clearance. They put one shoe out and there is a counter to get its mate. Smart way to prevent shoplifting. They also had designer handbags, towels, cosmetics, Mens, Women's, and Kid's clothes. I found a pair of Miss Me jeans for $49.97! Normally $100. They are a little big but I can use a belt. I can also roll them up and wear as Capris. Sales people were helpful. Definitely recommend to stop in while at Mall of America.

I was so appreciative of the Nordstrom Rack's adherence to CDC social distancing and health guidelines by limiting customers, providing face masks, and directional arrows on the floor. I waited in the very long line outside the store patiently waiting to enter the store. Then, I patiently waited in another very long line at the cashier desk to return a disappointing online purchase. I understand retail business very well having spent the majority of my life in retail and I previously worked many years for one of Nordstrom's competitors. These are difficult times with extenuating circumstances. My heart breaks that Nordstrom is closing 16 stores and is on the verge of bankruptcy. While standing in line, I notice the "40% off Everything" sale and "All Sales Final" signs. I get it...I understand why... and empathize. I grabbed a sanitized shopping cart and start filling my shopping cart like every other person in the store...jeans, workout attire, dresses...great stuff at terrific prices. Then, we find out the fitting rooms are closed. One associate recommends trying the clothes on the floor like other customers, one associate informs me that the Nordstrom store ("at the end of the mall") is open along with their fitting rooms...he suggested make a purchase, go try the goods on at Nordstrom, and if they don't fit bring them back...but there might be a problem with the "All Sales Final" policy. Another associate states that Nordstrom allows the use of fitting rooms but not the District Manager of this store for at least another three weeks. I tried clothes on over my clothes on the sales floor like everyone else as if I am in a third-world country outdoor market. I decided to take a gamble on a dress in hopes it will fit when I get home. I pray the purchase will fit because I don't even live in Minneapolis on top of all the other issues. Finally, the cashier did not remove the Sensormatic tag from the dress when I made the purchase. I set off the alarm exiting the store in front of the big line of people standing to enter the store. Humiliating!! The sign posted in the mall window states, "Holding tried-on or returned merchandise for a period of time before putting it back in the sales floor" is one of the initiatives to keep customers safe. News flash...since the fitting rooms are closed, tried-on clothes are heaped all over fixtures and left in carts on the sales floor. (So much for safety!!!) I recommend to the female manager/greeter the store needs a huge sign at the entrance and on the windows stating, "The Fitting Rooms are closed AND all sales are final" and/or the associate monitoring the line should share this information with the customers standing in line before they waste their time once they get in the store. The store is a huge mess (it looks like a TJ Max) and the female manager, who was standing outside the entrance, primary concern was who told me it was the DM's decision to close the fitting rooms. In a snarky tone upon exiting after the Sensormatic tag was removed from my dress, "We will do better." Wow...times have changed...customer service, retail standards, and common sense is even out the door for a company like Nordstrom. Of course, I shared my experience with a cosmetic associate at Nordstrom, her reply was, "That store is traumatic on a good day!" www.nordstromrack.com @nordstromrack

Probably the best selection I have seen at a Nordstrom Rack. Got a pair of polarized ray bans that I've been looking at forever for $79 instead of $205 which is the price I saw at other stores in the mall. That alone made it a great trip. Beyond that, they had several good brands. Plenty of ray ban, Tommy Bahamas, Calvin Klein, Adidas and north face. Store was super clean and organized. Men's shoe selection was great, had a pair of converse I have had me eyes on for 50% off of retail price. Took off one star because of the women's shoe section. Not sure if that's how it always is at a Nordstrom rack but it was a nightmare. Shoes thrown on top of each other without boxes. The men's on the other hand was not like that at all. Even had to do a return and staff made it super easy because one of the phone cases was mismarked. They apologized and put the money right back on my card no questions asked.

This was the first time we had been to Famous Footwear and it was a bit of a shock. The store itself is a mess with rows and rows of shoe boxes and not much actual merchandise on display so you pretty much need to know what you want before you go as "window shopping". There is not good seating for you to try on shoes - if you can find what you want in the chaos. There was a person there who was helpful but in the end we did not find what we wanted and went down a couple of doors to Shulers Shoes which had a much better selection, a better environment, and more professional service. There we bought a pair of shoes and some accessories. I would not go back to Famous Footwear.

During this visit, the manager called another store to learn if they had the shoes we needed in my son's size. Fortunately, they did, so we bought the wingtips that we'd found at this location and drove over to the Savage location for the sneakers needed for school. Yes, my 14 year-old son wears wingtips. Most of the men's shoes have sizes up to 16, so it's pretty easy to find what you need here. They even carry these larger sizes in medium width. My son doesn't have wide feet, so it can be difficult to get shoes that work well with his gun boats. The women's shoes on offer are great, too. Stylish and not all super-high heels. They recognize that not every woman wishes to reach for the stars when she's wearing nice shoes.

Far too often I settled for less than ideal (too narrow, poor arch support, etc.) and suffered the consequences with aching feet, blisters and other irritations. Schuler employs people that actually understand how to measure ones feet and then properly size footwear. As a result I always walk out with shoes or boots that feel great, need no break-in period and look great. They offer a vast selection of quality brands and almost always have what I'm looking for and a perfect fit in stock. I usually wait for a sale and then stock up by buying multiple pairs of footwear. I've also joined their rewards program. Thus, pricing, particularly given the excellent service and quality selection becomes a relative bargain. This store can get busy but never to the point where I felt that I was unacknowledged or conversely felt rushed into making a purchase decision. My father used to say that nothing is more expensive than a cheap pair of shoes. Do your sore, tired, barking dogs a favor and check out Schuler.

The cool thing about this is that you can catch the train right into the place just about. I had a 9:30 flight that was arriving in to Minneapolis and of course I couldn't check into my hotel. I bought an all day train pass and made my way. The coolest thing is that there are lockers of various sizes so you can store your luggage (for a nominal fee) and wander around this massive mall, got to about 1/3rd of it. I was taken back to the the 90's with the old school music playing and some of the stores that I thought didn't exist anymore. There were at least two of the same store but just on different levels or sides of the part of the mall I was in. The amusement park in the mall with the rollercoaster and kiddie rides and roaming characters was awesome. I went back the aquarium, which I would have gone into but it was filled with kids, and honestly it was too early :) Had a great meal at the crepe restaurant. If I was a senior retired, its a great nifty 50s walking spot or just getting out people watch. I would definitely try to go back to see the other parts and to stay the hell out of the cold weather this California gal is not used too.
