We had a blast going around finding fun Asian snacks and desserts! The grocery store portion is huge with a lot of great variety. The restaurants are nice because you can grab food and then shop around before or after! We loved it and will be back again and again!

Asian mart

One of my favorite places to visit. They have some of the best snacks here at the mart, I like the home taste Hong Kong and the hot pot city places here when we eat. The boba tea and donuts on the first floor are also a stop for us. I like how this location continues to expand and offer many different things to the community!

What an absolute gem and a privilege to have something like this in Minneapolis! There are so many fun authentic restaurants, shops, and of course the grocery store with tons of fun items to try. The people at every stop we went were so friendly and kind and helpful and we had a wonderful experience. There are so many fun items to get from fruit juices to canned boba/thai teas/etc to Asian snacks and candy and of course ramen and so much more. The prices are really reasonable and it's so much fun to walk around and browse everything and try some new things!

His: Potato hotdog with sugar, ketchup, and mustard. Mine: potato mozzadog with the same toppings plus crushed hot cheetos.

Asia Mall located in Eden Prairie has been on my list of places to check out for quite a while and I'm so glad I've finally gone there this weekend! I've heard many stories about not finding parking space so I felt really lucky finding not only 1 but 3 empty parking spaces near the entrance . But the parking lot did look very full otherwise. The first thing I noticed even before entering the mall, was the smell of hot chili oil that filled the air in the parking lot; it's a good sign (in my books) of delicious tasty Asian food being prepared. Upon entering the mall, I noticed a Chinese home decor vendor to my left and to my right, a Chinese restaurant with whole roasted ducks (yummm!) displayed behind a counter glass. There was a grocery store towards the center left side of the mall and a big open space to its right. Walking in straight ahead into the mall, I proceeded upstairs to the second floor to use the restroom. The small restroom seemed clean and well upkept. The second floor of the mall has several restaurants and a few stores. We decided to get food items from different restaurants for dinner. Started by picking a small selection of freshly made sushi from Ebi Sushi Box. I love the concept of choosing sushi pieces of your choice from a good variety of rolls and filling up your own box! For $12.99 per pound, this was very good and delicious! The staff members were friendly and the restaurant's seating area was limited but clean. We took our order to go and they packaged the food container neatly into a nice little bag with napkins and chopsticks for us. Next, we ordered drinks from Boba X then went to seat in CrunchCheese where we ordered Korean corn dogs and ate our food. If you haven't had Korean corn dogs, please try them! They're different from American corn dogs and have a variety of coatings and fillings. CrunCheese is also the perfect place to try because they're simply the best (in my opinion) . After dinner, we shopped the grocery store for snacks and drinks before heading home. The store offered a good selection of food from different Asian ethnicities. Overall, it was a great experience and I will gladly return!

A couple of years ago, I was watching FOX 9 Good Day. The show broke the news that a new Asian mall was under construction in Eden Prairie. I was thrilled, as finding a decent Asian supermarket when I lived in Minnesota was tough. Well, it took me two year to finally drop by Asia Mall. I only scratched the surface during my brief visit last month, as I had a Minnesota Wild game to go to and came here on a whim. I found a parking spot fairly close to the main entrance. I learned that this place has heated underground parking, too. It wasn't frigid when I was there, but it is now! I'd recommend heading over to the right side of the building. There are signs that get you down to the parking lot. I saw elevators and stairs to get you to the mall and back. I visited two businesses at this mall: - Keefer Court Bakery - Asian Mart I have separate reviews for them. In a nutshell, you have the best Asian bakery in the city that offers buns, tarts, hot foods, and Vietnamese desserts. You also have a massive Asian supermarket with the most awesome selection of produce, noodles, beverages, and more. This mall has two floors with businesses that appeal to me. Boba tea. Mochi donuts, Korean dogs. Hot pot. Pho. Bingsu. The list is extensive. I'll definitely be back. I have been told that the hot pot is excellent. I'll be there. I was so happy at this mall. I wish that I had dropped by earlier during my visit. However, I'm glad that I can say that I've been here at long last. It's awesome. (15)

The Asia Mall in the Minneapolis area is great new attraction for the area. My husband and I visited here on a trip to Minnesota. The shopping area is visually impressive and clean. There is an Asian grocery store, many restaurants, and other Asian owned businesses housed in this mall. We went to the first floor bakery and had some sweet treats. This should be a destination for all in the area. I highly recommend Asia Mall!

I just love this place! Every time I come here, I have a great experience. What a joy it is to have something like this here in Minnesota. I love that they have a huge parking lot! Pro tip: did you know they have heated underground parking available? Drive to the right of the building and follow the signs in. There are interior elevators and stairs to take you right up without having to go outside. While there are multiple awesome businesses in here, they each deserve their own Yelp review. So my review is mainly about the space itself, and the grocery store. BUILDING You can spend a whole day in here from breakfast pastries to snacks, shopping to lunch and dinner! I am working on crossing every spot in here off my list, but so far my favorites are the mochi donuts, boba upstairs, hot pot (THE BEST IN THE CITIES), korean corn dogs, and the grocery store. I love that they have imported trinkets and goods shops, as well as beauty and self care shop! GROCERY I refuse to leave Asia Mall without stopping in the grocery store to stock up on snacks and fun goodies. They have SO many awesome imported Asian branded snacks, shelf stable items, and frozen goods that are authentic and reasonably priced. I always pick out a few drinks and foods I need! I love that they have a section where they have discounted products - I love perusing the deals and trying something new. We are so lucky to have a space like this here in EP!

Went with some friends to this place and we loved it!! I got the "chicken cashew" dish upstairs. The flavor was great, but I wish I would've went from something spicer. The dish was $20, which is a little high compared to the portion size, can't complain too much though. Service was good... but they did forget one order (we had to ask and they brought it out quick), they also mixed up one friend's tea order, but corrected that as well. We also checked out some of the shops, which provided a wide range of health products and figures/toys. I believe most of the items are imported from Asia areas. Which makes sense ! A few folks in our group got Boba Tea and they enjoy them. The star of the place? Mochi Donuts! You must try these donuts if you visit here. Get at least 3-6 to try different flavors and bring some home for later. Don't think about the calories . There's two "coming soon" restaurants/signs. We are looking forward to going back to get hot pot soon. We'll likely go to this place a few times a year now. Fantastic!

I love being to travel in our own back yard to exotic places. The Asian Mall was slightly smaller than I expected but still had a lot to offer. There were Boba tea options, various restaurants and stores. The biggest part was the supermarket. It was clean and had lots of international products to choose from. I picked up some potato starch from here as well as a few other important staples for cooking. Get out and try this place out! Babe inspired to learn how to cook an Asian dish and pick up some ingredients from here.

I enjoyed visiting the Asia Mall. It includes a grocery store on the main level, with several yummy restaurants upstairs! The selection within the grocery store seemed stocked well. The staff was friendly and polite. I purchased one spice packet that was well-priced. I would recommend checking it out at least once!

I recently visited for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed myself. I spent time looking through the more typical grocery store section and while I wasn't doing any intense shopping I grabbed a few new snacks to try. I then spent some time looking at the other vendors including cruncheese and mochi dough and got some yummy items there. I felt the groceries were reasonably priced and the workers that I interacted with in all areas were helpful and friendly.

Dana S.

Decent selection of various Asian ingredients. Some items can be found at mainstream stores for much cheaper. Employees are friendly and weekdays this is not super crowded. Food options are just ok, we had dim sum and some stir fry dishes. The meals were swimming in oil, and lacked flavor and heat. Would not make a special trip to eat here

This place is awesome! It's a modern version of the Hmong market/mall. Clean/modern and it has some killer places to eat in addition you can pick up foods from all over Asia! This is a fun lunch trip on the weekends. Try some fresh baked delights or some Pho or even Dim Sum!!! Enjoy!!

I recommend this mall for parents with young kids who don't want to spend much or anything at all…read more They have a lovely closed off play area on the lower level that good for toddlers through kindergarten. Outside of that is the largest collection of quarter slot rides that I know of. They accept card payment or lets your kids pretend and don't pay to turn them on at all. Then there's a train ride and rideable animals for a fee. In Scheels they have a beautiful aquarium, a fun shooting range for a small fee and a ferris wheel that's only $1 per rider. Then upstairs they have a nice food court with clean restrooms and a variety of food options. I wish all malls were like this.

I wasn't even planning on going to the mall, but it was worth the trip. What really surprised me was Scheels. The size of it is impressive, but the fact they had a real aquarium and a Ferris wheel?! That's a whole other level! It's cool to see a store go above and beyond with entertainment and attractions. I also loved how the staff were very helpful pointing me in the right direction. I didn't shop at any of the other stores so I can't comment on those, but overall it was nice. It was a beautiful day and I just enjoyed walking around and taking it all in. If you need to get out of the house, stretch your legs and be surprised by a unique shopping experience, Eden Prairie Center is a must visit. Scheels alone is worth the trip! Win for a fun unexpected outing.

For sure feel like it's catered to the older crowd. We parked at Von Maur to cut through to the mall. A few things did catch my eye while passing so we ended up looking around a bit. I did find an item to purchase and walked a bit to find a pay station. When I walked up a customer and the cashier were deep into conversation about vacation and even with me waiting they carried on for 5 or so minutes after the fact. I ended up sitting in the chairs nearby to wait. I can say when they finally wrapped their conversation the cashier wasn't as friendly which made me think maybe I shouldn't purchase from them. There was no "thank you for your patience or waiting", "did you find everything okay" or anything. Overall the store is pretty neat and organized. Not a ton of staff around but also never seen a lot of people shopping either. Items seem to be good quality.

I parked by Von Maur and cut through the store to get to the food court. When I lived in Minnesota, huge department stores were popular. Macy's. Dayton's. Sears. Nordstrom. Neiman Marcus. Dayton's was Minnesota-based. It died, similar to Sears. It was my first time stepping foot in a Von Maur store. It felt like walking into an old Eaton's or Simpsons store when I was a kid. There was a lot to see. It felt comfortable. There was excitement. The first store that the von Maur family opened was in the late 1800's in Davenport, IA. It has since expanded to fifteen states. Its headquarters are still in Davenport. I had no idea. I have actually been to Davenport! This store had a wide variety of brand-name merchandise. I saw popular brands, such as Tommy HIlfiger and Anne Klein. There were many brands that I had never heard of, such as Lyssé, AGB, and Ruby Rd for women's clothing. I am such an outlet, discount shopper. It was nice checking out a classy department store, to change things up. I felt comfortable. Staff were super friendly and non-judgmental. They smiled and said hi. The best part was hearing a pianist in the lobby play songs at noon. It was so cheerful and refreshing as I browsed and moved. I loved it. There were escalators and elevators to get to to various floors of this large department store. It was clean and inviting. I will need to return when I'm not looking for lunch to shop here. I loved what I saw and I look forward to returning. (415)

I was looking online to see if they carry converse, as I was looking for a pair of regular black chucks. When I entered the store there were tons of staff all over which is nice to see these days. I did notice the women's shoes wasn't as busy as the men's. I browsed around a bit (no one greeted me or anything in men's or women's). I was told by a rep that he had to go check on some other customers, I kept waiting and being ignored to the point I witnessed reps asking people still looking around if they needed help and finally someone came up to help me, I asked for a 7 (as I'm a 8 1/2, 9 in women's), he came back and told me the smallest size they have is an 8 which is too big.
