I was looking online to see if they carry converse, as I was looking for a pair of regular black chucks. When I entered the store there were tons of staff all over which is nice to see these days. I browsed the men's section first since the shoes are pretty much the same, I couldn't find them at first so I went across the store over to the women's and couldn't find converse in women's either. I did notice the women's shoes wasn't as busy as the men's. I browsed around a bit (no one greeted me or anything in men's or women's). I did finally find them under a table display and they only had platforms for women's so I went back over to men's to take another look. I did find them and waited for a salesman to assist me. A man walked up (after me) and the shoe he wanted was next to stock room so he was helped right away. I waited and asked for help.. I was told by a rep that he had to go check on some other customers, I kept waiting and being ignored to the point I witnessed reps asking people still looking around if they needed help and finally someone came up to help me, I asked for a 7 (as I'm a 8 1/2, 9 in women's), he came back and told me the smallest size they have is an 8 which is too big. He asked who I was shopping for, I said myself and he asked me what size I wear and I said about a 9 in women's and he said "well this is men's" as if I was blind. Just didn't like the vibes all around.

I usually go with a photo of what I want (that I've taken on-line)--the service is speedier that way. When I moved last fall, I found lots of great quality organizers for cupboards, pantries, office, bathrooms--saved a lot of $$. I never buy food there, but cards, gift wrap, seasonal/party supplies, many cute plates and bowls for my daughter to use when she Cricuts for homemade gifts. I've read negative comments by shoppers--I've never seen an employee behave badly. Perhaps the shoppers need to be mindful of their attitude toward employees. Too many folks have become disrespectful/demanding these days, IMHO. Shortage of workers is real--who would want to work for lousy wages & keep demanding customers happy?

I love Dollar Tree. It has good merchandise. Everything is $1…read more I was staying in Eden Prairie. It was New Year's Day. This Dollar Tree was the closest one to my hotel and it was open. Sweet! It took me three minutes to drive over there. It's in a small plaza. I had no problems backing into a spot and going into the store. There were two women staff members at the store. They were both cheerful as they were stocking the store with goodies. I hit the Valentine's Day section. Yes, it was the first day of 2020 and I was looking at valentine cards, candies, and all things pink and red. I browsed the hair accessories area. It was a blast from the past seeing banana clips and huge bows that I wore in high school. I was here to get a lemon drink. I got the powdered lemonade travel packets. It had real lemon and no sugar. Perfect! The back is where you can find the frozen food section, including ice cream and popsicles. I loved looking at all the breakfast items. Here's hoping that our Dollar Tree stores in Canada follow suit. I'd be there all the time. I loved the snack aisle. I found snack sizes of Boom Chicka Pop popcorn. It is one of my favourite popcorn brands. I bought a couple and had one of the plane heading back home. It was the perfect size to make my flight enjoyable. I also had Zappo chips. I haven't seen those since I was in New Orleans. So yummy! The older woman out of the two staff members cashed me out. She was incredibly enthusiastic for New Year's Day. No hangover. Nothing. I paid using cash. She placed my goodies in a bag. I wished her a great day. She reciprocated. I love this store. (16)
