I love how everything is color coded and wish more stores would organize like this. Every employee I encountered was very friendly and helpful. I did notice that they were diligently interactive with me after I picked up a $100 blouse- as they should be on a busy Saturday! But I really appreciated the small talk and direction from Randie, who gave me the brief on where to find everything, and the brief on the sister store Nextdoor. This store is a bit out of my way, but now knowing what they carry I definitely see myself returning here when I am feeling like I want to treat myself. As I am someone who prides in ensuring clothes don't go to landfill and trying to reuse or recycle as much as I can (I shop thrift a lot) I was very pleased to see that they take overflow items from designers. My only bummers were when I got home, the nice gentleman at the register unfortunately left one of the security tags on a sweater, leaving me to figure out how to break it off. It happens, but gosh dang! And then the same sweater had a bit of a small but obvious stain on it. And while I know it's already deeply discounted, it wasn't in the clearance section. So when I asked if they might consider anything additional on the top, he kindly explained how the store handles stuff like this and that basically there is a waiting period of it doesn't sell. The owner (I assume she was the owner) looked them over while I looked around the store. When I went back up to the front, all she said was, "I'll pass." I was a bit surprised, so I said, "Can I ask why?" She said, "They have a strong dry cleaning smell, so maybe if you put them in the backyard or something." (I smelled them again and I honestly don't smell anything, but whatever.) I said, "Okay, so if I do that... is there anything here you'd take? Because I don't want to do all of that and lug everything back and you're just not interested." She very curtly said, "I don't know, I didn't really look." No smile, no "thanks for coming in." (Her associate who was working there was nice.) The whole time, she was just very curt and abrasive with me. And even though I was there to try to sell clothes, if she had treated me like that if I had walked in there to buy clothes, I would have NEVER bought anything from her. I definitely would have felt unwelcome and walked out. My negative review is not based on her decision not to buy my clothes. That's totally her decision - I was disappointed, but that's fine. Great purses and wallets (Vivienne Westwood...oooooooooh), though those will cost you a pretty penny. The clothing racks are full of great finds, albeit some questionable ones (what is a Guess? denim miniskirt doing next to Oscar de la Renta?), but there's no way you'll leave here empty-handed. I was just walking by to head somewhere else but was lured in by the display of boots visible from the window (and of course the "up to 90% off" sign). Upon entry I was given a friendly greeting by the employee behind the register, who let me know that there were some $1 bargains around the shop. I took some time to explore the aisles. It is entirely a clothes/accessories thrift shop, so tops, bottoms, coats, shoes, purses, hats, gloves, jewelry. Probably around 3/4s the inventory is "women's" and 1/4 "men's" (if you adhere to the gender binary; I personally shop both sides). I didn't see any kids clothes, so if you're searching for that I'd recommend going elsewhere. Good range of sizes on footwear! They even have a dressing room so you can try things on if you'd like to make sure it fits, and I noticed a couple spots with a small bench to make trying on shoes a little easier to accomplish too. These spots also had a full-length tri-panel mirror to give you multiple angles to view your potential new item. Like I said, this place felt reasonably upscale! Not at all like slumming it, even though there were indeed quite a few things marked down to $1 clearance. While I was there, a couple came in to hand off some of their hand-me-downs. Apparently this place will offer you cash in exchange for donations. So if you have something that's got little to no wear and need some change, this might be a good choice over just dropping off at Goodwill. Didn't purchase anything this time, but I'll likely pop back in another time when I finally need to replace my running shoes. Why buy new when I could get a nearly-new pair here for $15-30?

Lots of new items can be found here for steal. My favorite day is Thursday where items on their sales tables are only $2. I've found many great deals on those tables from phone charging cables, toys, luggage bags, home goods, tools, and decor. Items here are mostly store overstock and returns so item quality and variety can be a mixed bag. Most items are in fairly good, almost new condition though. I don't come here to find the staples, instead I stop about once a week to see what deals I might find. You never know what you might find which always makes it an adventure and surprise! It's like a mystery reveal toy for adults :)
