Mainstream boutique has beautiful clothes that please a variety of ages. A mix of trendy and classic. Dressing rooms are large. Lots of mirrors throughout the store. They play Positive and fun music. Store is clean and well organized Staff is really friendly and helpful! Some Clothes are on the spendy side, but it is a boutique. I love having a Mainstream so close to home. I don't have the income to shop there as frequently as I would like, but they have a huge selection of choices for different ages and styles. I have found stuff for my 13 year old daughter and my mother who is over 60 shops there. If you want jeans that are comfortable, trendy, and don't make you feel fat, check out their Mac and Me Jeans! They are amazing! Some people have reviewed this store as a negative because they play Christian music. That actually makes me want to shop there even more. It is relaxing and not loud in your face music that some other stores play. There is free parking right outside the front door. Also, I don't know what the scent is in the store (it's a secret), but it smells so good. Not all the Mainstream locations have this scent. I wish I could keep the clothes I buy from there smelling like that all the time! I have never had a bad experience with the staff, they have always been friendly and I have been there on multiple occasions. Lastly, the quality is what you pay for. I have bought shirts from another store (not to be named), and the graphics on their t-shirts have come off very quickly when being laundered. Not the shirts at Mainstream! my experience has varied depending on how I present myself. I shopped once after going for a hike so was sans makeup, a bit wind blown, etc. I wasn't greeted, no one checked in on me even though I ended spending over $200. next time I was with my sister. we were 'made up', dressed cute, etc. and staff couldn't have been more helpful, friendly. Just went today & got a welcome but no help at all. the staff was on the phone with what seemed to be people they knew. so wondering if you get decent help if they know you and/or you present with the 'right look'. disappointing since this supposedly is a company that prides itself on empowering women. read more

I love Mainstream Boutique, but NOT this Mainstream Boutique. Every time I walk into this location, if I'm not already dressed in a cute outfit, I have a flashback to the movie Pretty Woman. On multiple occasions no one has greeted me (even when there was only 1 or 2 other people in the store), I can be walking around carrying 5 items and there is no offer to start a fitting room, and if I haven't set everything down and walked out by this point, there is no check in after I start trying things on. That's the brick and mortar store. The online shopping experience is even worse. The inventory goes so fast that it's nearly impossible to get anything you want, questions in the comment section aren't addressed unless it's a comment about how great they are, and the hosts can't stop talking about how amazing everything is and how lucky we are as shoppers to get such great things that no one else can find. I can shop at consignment shops and find things just as stylish and of high quality. A little piece of humble pie would be much appreciated. Not all of us can look as cute and put together as the owners and people who work there. And the kicker is they claim they are there for all women. I recently stopped in at MB in Apple Valley and was warmly greeted by 3 employees. Lisa got a room of clothes going for me right away and also made additional suggestions of items that would go nicely with the jeans I had chosen. She was attentive as I tried on clothes and volunteered to grab different sizes as needed, and she also answered the questions I had in regard to fit and how to wear the clothes. While I tried things on the other employees were so encouraging and gave additional feedback on the outfits I was choosing. What a fantastic team you have hired! It all made for a lovely shopping experience and I am eager to return! read more

Staff was super helpful in the search for a cute outfit, however they have hardly anything in stock. This place is super hit or miss. They only get a couple of each item in, some can be ordered and others can not. For the prices I am not really that impressed, Nordstroms is better. I really wanted to like this shop, but they made a mistake ringing my order up. I bout a pair of jeans, a top, and a pair of leggings. When I was trying things on I gave one of the employees a pair of jeans and leggings that I didn't want...up at the register she accidentally swapped them out with the ones I DID want. I didn't realize he mistake until it was to late. We were out of town and when I went to put the jeans on I realized she rung up the skinny jeans and not the boot cut. When I checked the leggings they were wrong as well. Long story short, it ruined my weekend and I had to go purchase different jeans and leggings where we were. I went back to mainstream this weekend and told them what happened...I asked if I could just return them since I ended up having to buy a different pair out of town. They really didn't care and would only let me exchange them. I tried to be super nice about it, but it was their fault, I had to purchase other jeans and didn't need another pair..to bad so sad. I now have a pair of jeans that I don't want or need. I will never return to this store, and wouldn't recommend it to anyone either. When you make a mistake, do the right thing. read more

If you want a Christian-based store then advertise it as such. I have enjoyed the unique styles and rotating inventory this store has had over the last several years and I enjoy the FB previews, HOWEVER, I've noticed lately more and more jewelry and clothing promoted on FB and in the store has a religious (Christian) theme. This week I was in the store this past Friday and now their music playing in the store was Christian pop! I won't be shopping there anymore. Keep your religion in church. read more

I was hoping to keep my clothing purchases local for an upcoming business trip. Mainstream Boutique Apple Valley made that impossible. I stopped by on November 9 and was not greeted, wandered around with at least 10 items in my arms and was not offered help in starting a dressing room. I eventually left without buying anything because I couldn't find sizes I needed. I was ready to spend up to $800 and will now take that money elsewhere. I love Mainstream Boutique but NOT this location. DO NOT BUY GIFTS FOR OTHERS. My mother bought me a gift prior to Thanksgiving, as she winter's in Phoenix. Due to COVID, our Christmas reunion was delayed until January. When she finally gave me the gift mid-January, I went to return it to the store (gift receipt included) and they were able to see the purchase in their computer system. They told me it was too late to return. I asked if I could receive store credit or exchange and the answer was no. They told me that it is a 30 day return policy unless if you bought on Black Friday or after. Essentially, if you buy a gift for someone on Nov 20 for Christmas, the receiver of the gift would need to return it prior to Christmas! Therefore, even if our Christmas was not delayed, I still could NOT have returned it because she had bought it before Black Friday! Who runs a business like this?! Its the "cost of doing business" and exchange for something else, would have been the appropriate response. read more

Terrible experience there, would not recommend going back. Is one of my girlfriends favorite stores to shop, so I knew I could find her the shirt she's been looking for there, and maybe a gift certificate too. There are only two other customers in the store when I enter, and the three employees were chatting with those two. Obviously I'm a fish out of water here, but I was basically ignored by the three even though my presence was acknowledged by their stares. After asking for help locating the particular type of shirt, I was told they didn't have anything in my size followed by a pretentious chuckle. Terrible return policy. My wife has bought many items from this store. Last month she bought 5 items but decided to return one (we had paid full price; not a sale). Since just over 15 days since the purchase, we were told that "corporate policy" would not permit a refund or credit. We will NEVER go to this store again. read more
