I love Kohl's. I have been making up for lost time by hitting a number of them whenever I have a…read morechance. On Thursday, I specifically was here to check whether there were baby Yoda silicone ice cube trays. The store in Eagan only had one, which I picked up for myself. I used it to make the most adorable, yet functional ice cubes in my hotel room's freezer that I needed to get one for a friend as a gift. I lucked out. This place had six of these ice cube trays. I got one. They were a steal at 50% off. This store also had a nice selection of graphic t-shirt. I ended up getting a Disney one with classic characters on the front, such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Daisy, Donald Duck, and Goofy. It was on sale, so I had to. I needed to try the t-shirt in a fitting room. Due to the pandemic, the store has one main fitting room in the middle of the store. The smaller ones scattered around the store were closed off. The fitting room that I was in was clean and bright. I liked the three hooks and a long rail to hang my items up and try them on. I ended up getting a long-sleeved tie-dyed shirt that was also marked down. I loved that the sleeves were longer. I normally have the reverse problem with sleeves. I went to line up at this store. It was a couple of days before Christmas, so the line was longer than usual. It moved at a decent pace. I got an older woman at the checkout who was in good spirits. I paid using a credit card. I also had my Kohl's points barcode scanned. It's a decent store with a ton of parking. Like with all Kohl's, you can do curbside pickup. The customer service counter is to the right when you enter the set of doors to the right of the Kohl's logo. This store is also special because it has a Sephora built into it. The Sephora is decent. It felt like being at a regular standalone one. I was impressed with the products that I saw, from the complete Fenty Beauty line, to Drunk Elephant. I liked shopping here. I'd come back again when I'm in the area. (488)

I understand that there was a complete paradigm shift post-Covid, however; you can only use that excuse for so long. The employees seem as though they are not properly trained to do the simplest of tasks regarding returns/price adjustments, etc. I attempted to return a hat/glove set that didn't fit this morning. The employee that helped (?) me was unable to locate the order number or SKU number of the product in her computer even though I pulled up the order on my phone & provided the information to her. She tried over & over again. I was becoming impatient & asked her to get someone else to help her. Another employee pulled up the information finally. I paid with Kohls cash & should have received that amount back. She insisted that the dollar amount was 0, so I wasn't due anything back. After I (the customer) explained how the return credit works in this situation, I was able to get my Kohls cash back. I have shopped at the Eagan location recently & have not experienced this level of service. This tells me that the onboarding of employees is not at the level that it should be.

This is one of my favorite shops to swing by when I'm in the area, so I'm sad to see so many…read morenegative reviews. My experiences have always been positive. Much of their merchandise are quality and/or familiar brands such as Duluth Trading, Old Navy, J Jill, Athleta, Free People, etc. I don't come across clothing that's over-worn or out of fashion, so I'm fine with paying more, and it's still under retail value (prices are increasing everywhere, including Goodwill). There's a great selection, even for me XL and above. I was there yesterday 10/29/26 and an associate asked if I needed help. I just so happened to be shopping for a black dress for a work event, and she said they had just been priced a dress in my size range! Sadly the coincidence wasn't enough to make the dress fit. I'll always go back when I'm in the area! Parking: free parking lot

A more upscale thrifting experience. I was genuinely impressed by how clean and organized this…read morestore was, considering it's a thrift store. I was just walking by to head somewhere else but was lured in by the display of boots visible from the window (and of course the "up to 90% off" sign). Upon entry I was given a friendly greeting by the employee behind the register, who let me know that there were some $1 bargains around the shop. I took some time to explore the aisles. It is entirely a clothes/accessories thrift shop, so tops, bottoms, coats, shoes, purses, hats, gloves, jewelry. Probably around 3/4s the inventory is "women's" and 1/4 "men's" (if you adhere to the gender binary; I personally shop both sides). I didn't see any kids clothes, so if you're searching for that I'd recommend going elsewhere. Good range of sizes on footwear! They even have a dressing room so you can try things on if you'd like to make sure it fits, and I noticed a couple spots with a small bench to make trying on shoes a little easier to accomplish too. These spots also had a full-length tri-panel mirror to give you multiple angles to view your potential new item. Like I said, this place felt reasonably upscale! Not at all like slumming it, even though there were indeed quite a few things marked down to $1 clearance. While I was there, a couple came in to hand off some of their hand-me-downs. Apparently this place will offer you cash in exchange for donations. So if you have something that's got little to no wear and need some change, this might be a good choice over just dropping off at Goodwill. Didn't purchase anything this time, but I'll likely pop back in another time when I finally need to replace my running shoes. Why buy new when I could get a nearly-new pair here for $15-30?

This is the best thrift store I have ever gone to!…read more There are a lot of thrift store that are just very overwhelming and they do not even make an effort to sort out their clothes. This goodwill had everything sorted by color, sleeve length, and sweaters. Pants: black dress pants, khakis, sweats etc. The only thing I wish they would focus a little more on is sizing. All the sizes are mixed together and it takes a lot of time to look at size tags. What I suggest is to have sizes 0-4 in one section 5-9 in another.... It does not have to be to specific but, I hate having to sort through sizes that are obviously too big and obviously too small. They also have tons of toys and kitchen ware and they do a very nice job of separating these things. Another thing they are wonderful at: Not selling JUNK! There are too many places that put a price tag on something that belongs in the garbage. Savers for example. It would also help if people would not donate things that are obviously terrible. When I donate things, if it has a hole or a stain that keeps me from wearing it, then most likely no one else wants to wear it either.

So hit or miss. Today is black Friday and VIP customers save 35% off. My son and I went to Goodwill…read moreand Salvation Army in Lakeville and didn't find anything to buy. Now, who donated this metal lunch box?

While dreaming about what stores to hit once I was able to travel again, Kohl's was on my mind. I arrived in the Twin Cities on Black Friday. I had never shopped in a store on Black Friday before, so I did so at Kohl's in Eagan. Later on that evening, I took advantage of placing an order online at Black Friday prices and picking it up at the store. It works for Canadians through the Kohl's app. For my order, most items were at the Eagan store (closest to where I was staying), but one item as only available for pickup at this Kohl's in Burnsville. I got an e-mail notification that my order was ready for pickup and headed over here. What is special about this Kohl's is that it has a Sephora store smack in the middle of it. It's a subset of a typical Sephora, but it does carry items that I buy regularly, from lip balm, to facial cleansers. I spent some time walking around the store. I loved the cool gift ideas section a lot. I ended up getting some goodies and giving them recently to a couple of friends as early Christmas gift exchanges. They were a hit! Specifically, the LED lights that you clip behind your shoes so people can see you at night and The Child comic coasters delighted my gift recipients. I did manage to get some items for me. I got a Mickey Mouse cap. I liked that it was tie-dyed and fit my large head. I also got The Child LED stocking that was neat. I paid for my items at the cashout area. You earn Kohl's rewards by having the barcode scanned from the app. I ended up going back to save 40% off on my next purchase along with $10 off my entire purchase. Nice! I paid with a credit card and the transaction was done. I then headed to customer service to pick up my order. All you do is have the person scan the barcode in your e-mail notification and the staff member fetches your order. So easy. I enjoyed using the pickup option a few times during my trip. There are washrooms in this store. They are next to the Hallmark cards section. The women's washroom was clean. This store has a lot of parking. I spent more time in Burnsville this trip and it was great dropping by this Kohl's. (449)

They also seem to have a lot of cashiers working to keep the line length down. A lot of the Kohls can have rather long lines. I do like the in-store Kiosks where if you can find your size/style in the store, you can order it in the store and have it shipped FREE to your house. It sometimes is difficult to get your in-store discounts on the Kiosk though. Kohls is also fairly lenient with their return policy, if you have an issue with something, the chances are that they will take it back without putting you through the wringer! Check out the in-store kiosk next time you are there!

I was surprised to find Kitsch Hair stuff here. Although I get much better deals directly from Kitsch online. I browsed and really didn't find anything. I also looked around and found 100 dog cleaning wipes for $6. This month is my birthday month but I forgot to sign up online. Birthday month customers get $10 off. This store is so ridiculously overpriced also. The cashier was nice. Mainly clothes, shoes, purses and skin and hair care items. I almost bought a handheld luggage scale for $14.97. Maybe I'll sign up birthday rewards and return next July. No returns on final clearance. The cashier was nice. 4/5 for ridiculously overpriced and missing prices.
