Your neighbor's cat is pregnant and you're invited to the shower and need an outfit and a gift. Of course this all happens on the same day. Enter TJ Maxx. This location is blended with a Home Goods, so you can find it all. In addition to an extensive selection of clothes for everyone (all styles, sizes, age groups, etc.) at all price points, you'll find an amazing selection of beauty care items to keep you feeling great from the top of your head to the tips of your toes. This includes hair styling tools of all sorts, sheet masks, makeup, and great bath products. There are also tons of things for the home, from rugs to furniture to sheets and towels to home storage and organization. (Note to self: if I ever need to stage a home, I should go here.) I especially love the kitchen section--in addition to the great cookware and bakeware, they have great gourmet items, from pasta to chutney to cookies and tea. You can one hundred percent put together an amazing gift basket for your favorite foodie friend with very little effort. The lines can be long, but they move fast--just keep your ears open for the number of the next available cashier!

The Woodbury location in particular shares a big parking lot with other neighboring establishments such as Schuler Shoes and the Dollar Store. There's always a spot so worrying about parking is non existent. The selection and prices of items are outstanding. My favorite section is the set area where they sell a top and matching bottom whether it be a PJ set, summer set or just a relaxed leisure set. Being pregnant, I bought 3 sets and I'm currently adoring my most recent one which is so soft and cozy. The service is typically good as each time I have visited, I've always gotten a greeting when entering. There is a loyalty program for free which stacks points up and will send you a coupon for your birthday along with helpful emails about seasonal sales, etc. There are tons and tons of racks for clothes that go all the way up to 3X which shows me this spot is inclusive. It's been extremely helpful as my size is fluctuating while pregnant. In the handful of times I've shopped, I've scored Sorel tennis shoes, a simple black jumper I wore to a wedding, earrings, cozy green jumper and high heels that I wore to my baby shower. There are some name brands and also generic items too. I favor reused and recycled items so to me, this is a winner. There are handbags, backpacks, accessories, shoes and fitting rooms. I can't wait to continue shopping here. Note: I have never tried to sell anything here and don't plan to. I usually donate my items to other places. Thank you, Clothes Mentor!!

I am getting married soon and looking for a gown for my welcome party. I browsed for about 20 minutes before someone approached me. She started a room for me and I continued browsing. Not once was it mentioned to me that I could not look at the bridal gowns on the back wall. I grabbed a dress off the back wall and was very rudely approached and told I could not take gowns off that rack and I needed an appointment. This is fine, but the worker acted like I was committing a crime and was extremely rude and unprofessional the way she approached me. There were no signs about needing an appointment or not removing gowns from the back rack. Sales associate with black rimmed glasses and short dark bob. will not be returning.
