I love finding baby clothes here because they can grow out of them so fast! Some clothing items or shoes can be as low as a $1.50 with brand labels being only $8 for some name brands like Nike. Those same items might have been $35+ brand new. Especially for the littlest items they are essentially only sleeping in. I am a personal fan of the onsie wall. I like that it is all organized by size and then color. I want gender neutral colorful clothes so its very easy for me to find my babies current size and the next size up. It is a hunt like all the other consignment and preowned stores. I always think the hunt is worth it and its very satisfying finding a deal. I have found the empolyees to be kind and efficient and let me shop independently.

The sales woman said it would be about half hour to go through them. we came back then and they said they would only take 2 items out of 30. She said they are not excepting girls clothes sizes 4-10 at this time. Why would they not tell us when we came in or have a sign saying that. They crumble the clothes and threw them back in the basket. Don't ever go to that store again.

I went in on a mission with limited time so didn't do much browsing. This isn't a huge store despite it being in MOA but there was plenty to look through! The cashier helped me search for any of that item left, and brought me to the shelf so I could pick it out. Another worker got me a fitting room quickly. She was pretty sales on the Athleta credit card, but I realize that's part of their job. I was able to swap my gift out for the one in the correct size very easily and quickly. Prices are quote steep for me beyond getting gifts here, but I've loved everything I've ever been gifted from here and the styles + quality is amazing!

Bae thinks that they have like, the best workout clothes and yoga clothes imaginable, but I don't think that the prices are anything that the average person would want to pay or even could afford to be honest. It's like Victoria Sport but less sexy and more expensive. But still really good and they're friendly.

Variety of sizes from 0 to plus sizes, as well as petite sizes, like other reviewers have said. There are a lot of jeans, checkered buttondown shirts, quite a few purses, and some fashion jewelry that seems nice. Also from time to time they have 50-75% off their green tag items. You can start or supplement your professional wardrobe here without spending a fortune. If you take the time to look through all the racks, there are a few quality items. I found a Calvin Klein dress that I can wear to work (on sale) for only $4.50! Parking - they have a small lot in front of the store. Tough to park during the after-work rush hour, but later in the evening, there is plenty of room. Pretty clean for a consignment store. The dressing rooms leave something to be desired and I would not recommend standing on the carpet in your bare feet, but as the saying goes, beggars can't be choosers. I won't take a star away for that because as far as consignment stores goes, this one seems pretty good. I have not tried to consign yet after my lackluster experience with the Southdale location, but perhaps I will try consigning here in the future. Happy with the selection and sale prices!

Even more impressive was that these men looked excited when they talked about the denim, fabric, colors, textures, and cuts of different apparel! If you wanted, you could go into Madewell, try on a bunch of clothes, and have 2-3 employees critique your outfits. And they don't seem to mind if you walk out of the store without a purchase. Workers at Madewell (S. Mpls & MOA) look like they love their work, the fashion industry, their company, and helping people look good. That's how I can tell that this store has top-notch employees and managers. Well done, Madewell.

I had only worn the jacket about 3 times because I had just moved from Southern California. When I originally purchased the jacket two weeks prior it was 20% off, the jacket was now 40% off. When I asked if I could completely return the jacket and re buy it so I could get the extra discount I was told no. Not only was I told no but the reasoning was because I may have destroyed the jacket on PURPOSE to get a discount. Come to find out, this woman is one of the store managers. Her name is Madeline, according to my receipt. I am baffled that this is how customers are treated, as the store where I typically shop in California is full of a bunch of wonderful employees. Out of curiosity, I drove over to the Edina store to see if this was typical protocol for Madewell stores in this area. I had a very pleasant experience there and will continue to do all my Madewell shopping at the Edina location. I had a really nice woman by the name of Ariana help me out. She was extremely helpful and very sweet! The Bloomington store could have had another loyal customer had they not accused me of purposely destroying a product. If you want people to spend money at your store it's best to treat them with respect!

NIne lives is a small but well stocked thrift store with a wide range of women's sizes. Their selection is well organized, and well curated. It doesn't have the funky smell one runs into sometimes with thrift stores. I found a number of cute items.
