I love this store.... I love it so much that I drive all the way out to burnsville to shop there…read more It's a small little store, but they have a nice selection and really good prices. You get what you pay for though!! :) What keeps me coming back though is the customer service. Even when they are busy, they are still attentive. They're not to pushy, it's just right!! I would give 5 stars but they are cheap for a reason, in a good way!! One night outfit, I guess you could say......

A more upscale thrifting experience. I was genuinely impressed by how clean and organized this…read morestore was, considering it's a thrift store. I was just walking by to head somewhere else but was lured in by the display of boots visible from the window (and of course the "up to 90% off" sign). Upon entry I was given a friendly greeting by the employee behind the register, who let me know that there were some $1 bargains around the shop. I took some time to explore the aisles. It is entirely a clothes/accessories thrift shop, so tops, bottoms, coats, shoes, purses, hats, gloves, jewelry. Probably around 3/4s the inventory is "women's" and 1/4 "men's" (if you adhere to the gender binary; I personally shop both sides). I didn't see any kids clothes, so if you're searching for that I'd recommend going elsewhere. Good range of sizes on footwear! They even have a dressing room so you can try things on if you'd like to make sure it fits, and I noticed a couple spots with a small bench to make trying on shoes a little easier to accomplish too. These spots also had a full-length tri-panel mirror to give you multiple angles to view your potential new item. Like I said, this place felt reasonably upscale! Not at all like slumming it, even though there were indeed quite a few things marked down to $1 clearance. While I was there, a couple came in to hand off some of their hand-me-downs. Apparently this place will offer you cash in exchange for donations. So if you have something that's got little to no wear and need some change, this might be a good choice over just dropping off at Goodwill. Didn't purchase anything this time, but I'll likely pop back in another time when I finally need to replace my running shoes. Why buy new when I could get a nearly-new pair here for $15-30?

I'll definitely be back to shop. I looked at the shoes briefly and they had some great options! Bigger variety and space than the MG one. I ended up getting $50 for my clothes - I was shocked! I do wish they texted you when they were done going through your clothes like the MG Style Encore does. I'll be back to donate and shop again!

I visited earlier this week on a Tuesday about 515pm, the young, tall blonde working seemed to be…read moreeager to close early as she repeatedly stated the shop on the corner had younger apparel and would be more suited for me as if she knew what I was looking for without ever asking first. Quite the assumption to make since I'm in my 40s. She stated the shop was for elderly ladies in their 60s & 70s. I nodded and smiled commenting on the jewelry as I was shopping for my mother; but she didn't ask. So, I continued to browse and she repeatedly stated the same statement four more times. I was there for less than 10 minutes and she went into the back before I left. The store gives off a classy aesthetic and I did intend to buy a pair of earrings but the customer service contradicted that classy atmosphere.

Visited their new space in the Vandalia tower and I think it really helped with their inventory as…read morethere is significantly more area to display and place all their goods. Hoping they might be able to reintroduce that moody vibe from their first shop, but I think that will come with time as they settle in. I do kinda wish it was on the first floor because I'm worried being on the second floor means they may not get as much walk through traffic and would love to see them thrive here. They *still* do not use price tags so you either have to ask or check their website for prices unfortunately. On the plus side parking is much easier in their new space and still free.

I had a pretty crummy experience at June today, the Edina location…read more I went in with about 15 Karen Millen dresses and blazers, sizes 8 and 6, freshly dry cleaned and in very good condition. The owner (I assume she was the owner) looked them over while I looked around the store. When I went back up to the front, all she said was, "I'll pass." I was a bit surprised, so I said, "Can I ask why?" She said, "They have a strong dry cleaning smell, so maybe if you put them in the backyard or something." (I smelled them again and I honestly don't smell anything, but whatever.) I said, "Okay, so if I do that... is there anything here you'd take? Because I don't want to do all of that and lug everything back and you're just not interested." She very curtly said, "I don't know, I didn't really look." No smile, no "thanks for coming in." (Her associate who was working there was nice.) The whole time, she was just very curt and abrasive with me. And even though I was there to try to sell clothes, if she had treated me like that if I had walked in there to buy clothes, I would have NEVER bought anything from her. I definitely would have felt unwelcome and walked out. My negative review is not based on her decision not to buy my clothes. That's totally her decision - I was disappointed, but that's fine. My negative review is based on how she treated me. I felt she was very rude to me the whole time. I will not try to sell anything there anymore, nor will I go in to buy anything either. (The owner will probably do a reply on this review, and that's fine. I believe that my review is objective of what happened, and readers can make their own decision.)

My mom had driven by this place months ago and insisted to me, repeatedly, that when I came home to…read morevisit we just HAD to stop by. It's across the street from our all-time favorite ice cream shop, Crema, so it's not as if she had to twist my arm. However! It took us several tries, due to their 6pm closing time, before we finally got in. I geeked out big time, I'll admit it. Minneapolis is the best, I repeat, the BEST city for vintage clothing (affordable, and otherwise) and June is a great addition to my usual rotation of secondhand stores. The owner, Daune, is really sweet, and the dressing rooms have two very important elements: red velvet curtains and flattering light. CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE SHOE RACK OH MAH GOD IT IS AMAZING. Seriously. For serious. Seriously. No, I'm really serious about this: Manolo Blahnik, D&G, Marc Jacobs, Ferragamo, Christian Louboutin, Te Casan...most run for less than $100 and are presented beautifully on high, white shelves in the back room. Great purses and wallets (Vivienne Westwood...oooooooooh), though those will cost you a pretty penny. The clothing racks are full of great finds, albeit some questionable ones (what is a Guess? denim miniskirt doing next to Oscar de la Renta?), but there's no way you'll leave here empty-handed. I bought: Marc Jacobs Black Nubuck Mary Janes ($45) Anna Sui Black Lace Goth-Style Dress ($55) Gold Sunburst Cocktail Ring with Blue Stone ($20) Do...you...have...ANY...idea...how much these items would cost in a New York high-end vintage shop?
