Ok wow, we are fortunate to have an Allbirds location in Minneapolis! This store opened in 2021,…read morein between Pacifier and D.NOLO in North Loop. I was going to Pacifier to get a gift for my son, but then I stopped into Allbirds on a curious whim, and left with a gift for myself. I honestly had never heard of Allbirds before I stumbled in here. The staff was welcoming, as I browsed their displays. I learned that they're a minimalist New Zealand company dedicated to reversing climate change with sustainable functional apparel (mostly shoes). Into it! I love how each product is marked with its carbon footprint and list of renewable materials. There are about half a dozen different shoes, and I think they were all $98 and unisex. Yes, pricey, but worth the sustainable quality (also, helps that I haven't bought new shoes in years). I tried on the Wool Loungers and was in heaven. They're easy to slip on, the soles are so comfy, and they design is minimal and clean. And they're machine-washable!! Note: This style only comes in full sizes and run small. I sized up from 7 to 8. I've only worn them a few days but so far I love them. So comfortable! Each Allbirds location has a custom shoelace, and ours is Boundary Waters Blue. You get a free pair with each purchase!

5 STARS FOR SERVICE!!! 2 stars for STINKY shoes- the wools does not let my feet breath!…read more The attention to detail at this store is amazing. All of the associates were very helpful. Unfortunately, I didn't realize until after 30 day return window that these shoes smell- BADLY. I do not have smelly feet. These are the only pair of shoes that I have ever owned that smell. I have followed the manufacturer's guidelines and washed them accordingly. NOTHING, I mean NOTHING can totally get rid of the smell. It's a shame because the shoes are very comfortable and supportive.

Excuse me? Every single other clothing boutique ever created? Listen up. You're gonna want to hear…read morethis. Because THIS is how you run a women's clothing boutique. Actually, I'm going to write it in bullet form, because I could write an entire "Boutique Making for Dummies" book about this place, but that's long and boring. You're probably already reading this on your phone or at work going "SPIT IT OUT, LADY!" So, I'm gonna spit. Parc Boutique is the epitome of what every single women's boutique/clothing retailer should be: - It stocks a large selection of on-trend, adorable seasonal outfits; and offers them at very reasonable prices. - It hires the friendliest, most helpful employees who aren't just smiley, but who can give you an honest opinion when you're trying to decide between items. - The space itself is clean, bright, and well-designed. Whoever their interior designer is, can you please come over to my house immediately? KTHX. - They always have NEW merch. I can't believe how quickly and frequently they get new stuff in. It's fantastic! - They have a functioning website (which lots of small boutiques can't really support). - They have GREAT social media support (like a beautiful, inspiring Instagram account...it's definitely inspired a few purchases from me!) - They host rad events and trunk shows and open houses all the time! - And they have a great loyalty/rewards program where you get money back after you spend a certain amount of money. I love shopping here because even when I spend more than I "should," I love that it goes back to supporting a local shop instead of a big corporation. Plus, I know there won't be 2,000 other girls in the Twin Cities rocking the SAME look. It's just a really happy place, that stocks a variety of sizes and trends and items (dresses/pants/blouses/scarves/jewelry/shoes/hats/name a thing)! Yeah. I'm just relieved it's in Nordeast and not my neighborhood or I would probably be living out of a tent that I made using their clothes...

I wish that a fashion portal would open when I open my closet each morning. It'd be like Narnia,…read morewithout the lion or the witch... just the wardrobe. I'd just pop in to some awesome store, play dress up and then come back through my wardrobe like the Pevensie children. Anyway, Parc Boutique would definitely be one of my fashion portal stops. I follow the owner Thao on Twitter and Pinterest because she has amazing taste, so I should've known how much I'd like this store. It had been a while since my first visit to Parc (when I was young and broke), so my visit last week felt like the maiden voyage. There's a balance of affordability and higher-fashion style here, which I appreciate because that is a balance I try to find on a daily basis. There's a great selection of dresses, tops, jewelry, denim and more---all priced and curated well. The bauble table was where I had the most trouble saying goodbye. I saw the most interesting geometric pendant priced at about $75 (as usual, my eye wanders to one of the most expensive things on the table). Though I couldn't bring myself to drop the cash, I was compelled to put it on my Christmas list eight months in advance.

They let us in the check it out with out paying and dang it was fun watching people do tricks and rails and jumps and whatever else they are called! Everyone was super nice, and the store was really cool and chill! A great safe environment for skate fans of all ages! If you are just wanted to come and skate in the park I think it's 12 bucks, but you can also buy a year membership! And I bet in January you may like to skate inside in Minnesota! Anyway it was a blast and super nice people! Never experienced anything like this.

The customer service here is amazing, and I definitely recommend this shop to anyone, whether you're new like me or more experienced.

This is the best running store in Minnesota. This is the…read morebest running store in Minnesota. What Jeff and Bekah Metzdorff have done to make a retail store into the epicenter of running culture in the entire Midwest is remarkable. You will get it when you walk in. You need a pair of shoes and they'll make you run on a treadmill, ask you some questions and you'll be fitted for what shoe fits for you. From there, they have gear you want to wear running. And for those us (myself included) who aren't runners, they have comfortable clothing you will wear daily for comfort or for your own workouts. You go deeper if you're new to the Twin Cities and join a free group run, which is multiple times a week to keep you going. You might even find a date there, it happens oddly often. If you're one of those people who need to run a marathon, you'll see them during the Twin Cities Marathon yelling in the 20s mile area, getting written up in the local neighborhood papers for being too loud. From there, you want them to succeed, and you want to join them. Then you see their brand everywhere. In every race in the Midwest, you will see the brand name. And you'll feel good wearing it as well as you know it's a local business doing things right from the ground up.

Great staff and still has a great selection of shoes and apparel. What I learned by running myself is their fantastic shop runs that they put on several days per week and on every other Saturday, they have the assisted long run or "ALR" where there a lot of people, maybe ~100 all running different distances and paces on pre-set routes, like a 5K, 10K, 10 mile, etc. so you can pick a distance and pace and probably have someone to run with. They also provide Strava maps on their site so you really will not get lost. Best part is that these runs are free, they do it just because they love running and the running community. Kudos, amigos.

Ladies, listen up…read more You know when you're bloated and feeling uncomfortable and fat and stuffed full of chocolate and you know that shopping is the last thing in the freaking world that you want to do? WELL... Go to this Banana. Find something obnoxiously overpriced. And take it into the fitting room. They have those fancy dressing room mirrors with the trick lights that make you look 10 pounds thinner than you actually are. No. Joke. I'm a total cheapskate when it comes to clothes and would be the girl voted "most likely to sit down on something gross without looking" so Banana clothes really ain't my thing. But when it comes to dressing up, this store is one of my guilty pleasures. I've been eyeing a dress in this store for the past 6 weeks that seemed like it might be the perfect candidate for a wedding rehearsal dinner dress (that could also be reincarnated as a wear-to-work dress after the wedding). Buuuut...it was $150. And I didn't want to spend $150, even if it was silk. Well. Today it was on sale for under $80. Not too shabby. And neither was my ass in that fitting room mirror. +5 stars for the awesome mirror. -3 stars for being a waste of money. +1 bonus star for the awesome mirror. =3 stars

However, when my new roommate moved in two closets full of Banana Republic clothes, I decided to give it another shot. Upon entering the store I was promptly greeted by a sales person. It was a long day so I did yawn, and when the sales person saw that he said "you look like you need some coffee". Definitely a way to make a girl feel beautiful. I browsed around, somewhat shocked by the prices, considering that tags read "made in china". To be honest I really wanted to find something I liked, but nothing caught my eye. There were a few clearance racks, mostly filled with $20-30 simple t shirts that are final sale and cannot be returned. I left empty-handed and headed for Starbucks.
