This is a nice Target but the one road in/out stresses me out, such a hassle. This store was remodeled a few years ago and overall looks nice. I can usually find whatever i'm looking for, plus all the extra stuff I end up getting. Prices are a bit higher now & now that they remove/don't put the price on items it's a bit annoying shopping here. The inconvenience of the prices not being consistent is also a thing. I try to stick to what I need only. Sometimes the most interaction I get is the mobile sales people in electronics. read more

I grabbed a compression bag set to fit my newly thrifted clothes thinking the Jumbo was big enough (also the cheapest option), but later discovered it was way too big for my carry-on. A surprise was seeing their extensive jewelry collection. I have been looking for more layered necklaces & prior to leaving TX had absentmindedly tangled several of my existing pieces. I went to purchase a Roblox gift card as a Christmas present. I tried to pay for it with a Targer gift card I previously received. There was plenty of funds on the card but payment was declined. I was told you can't buy gift cards with a gift card. So Target gets cash up front on the purchase of gift cards and then will not allow you to use the gift card to purchase other gift cards. What a brilliant policy. Perhaps Target should not allow the use of gift cards on the purchase of food or clothing or appliances and electronics. That would be a sure fire way to turn around their slumping sales. Even a former executive of Target Corp wrote a negative article about Targets management and their declining sales numbers. read more

The parking lot is what attracts me to this location. Because it's a part of a busy shopping center, there is plenty parking by the door. You can find multiple Tesla/Electric chargers on the Northside of the parking lot. Once you get into the store, it seems to get bigger the more you travel right/north of the store. The cart, cafe, and front of the store feels bunched but the rest of the store has room to move around. This makes it tough when it's crowded at the checkout lanes. During the day its quite smooth but the weekend and dinner times are hot spots. The vinyl area has been my fav department lately but the product on the shelves haven't disappointed at this location. It also seems like the pharmacy has weird hours and tough to adjust, I saw a line of angry customers waiting/questioning why it wasn't open. That's a common thing and Target hasn't been exempt from staff shortages. I love this location and go here when I can, let me know what you think. read more

This is the Target I go to whenever I'm at Ridgedale mall. I usually just need a few groceries and I'm usually frustrated that it's not a Super Target and then I'm mad at myself for going here. Today, for example I couldn't find little weenies for my husband, he wanted to make them as a New Year's eve appetizer. So if you just think: basics, this is the store for you. Target corporate shows a definite prejudice against lower & middle class customers. 1st the come up with "circle" that you have to have a cell phone to use. 2nd they stop printing flyers so if you don't have internet you either make a trip to the library and look at their flyer and take the time to write down what is on sale including all pertinent info. OR you go through the store on a "scavenger hunt" to see if what you need is on sale. I personally have not shopped my local Target in Newport, KY since they stopped the flyer. Usually shopped there @ least every 1 to 2 weeks usually from the flyer since they opened. Before that I made a monthly 45 min. trip either over the river to OH or out to the Florence, KY store. read more

I was racially profiled and I was followed the whole time I was in there. Even my kids who are 13 and 15 noticed. I can't believe this is still happening just because of our skin color. Im here like maybe 2 a week because I live so close by like 2 mins away but I love that because its my one stop shop sometimes I just go in and not by anything just go like window shopping! I have never had bad customer service here its very neat and quiet! the only thing ya the bathrooms are gross its like a walmart bathroom icky stuff I just wish it was a super target that would be insane!! Horrible target! Horrible experience. No wonder this store gets such bad reviews! Went to return brand new luggage, without a receipt they offered me $15 gift card lol. I called customer service and they found the receipt, but the manager still wouldnt help lol. Target is Target, for the most part. This one is recently remodeled, is always clean, and usually has most items in stock. The Targetrons are pretty friendly and helpful. I'd give it four stars, except during the remodel, they did a couple stupid things: 1) Redesigned the parking lot so it's impossible to get in/out easily (this Target is in the same shopping center as a Byerly's and a Barnes&Noble) 2) Went from having two entrances to one entrance. The one entrance is nowhere near the majority of available parking spaces. read more

I generally stop in this Target location often when in the area for work. It's a typical "comfortable" Target experience for me. They had a real nice Holiday selection this year.. and staff has always been pleasant here. Actually it was one of the cashiers here who really encouraged me to use the Cartwheel app on my iPhone. She said that she sees customers all day long who save a ton of money using that app. And you can combine it with their other coupons on Target.com. I have used the app a few times now; so I guess I can thank the cashier here for the encouragement. Clean location... large parking lot area. Never had any issues or concerns here. Hey it's Target. We go to this Target because it's proximity to ... us. Also, close to my work. Great service. When we looked lost, the Red shirts proactively ask if we need any assistance. Check out has always been fast and pleasant. Returning items has always been a breeze. I also use the Pharmacy and so far no complaints. Although, I haven't grilled the pharmacist. There is a Minute Clinic, which is awesome for flu shots and TB testing. Furthermore, there is a new food section. Very limited selection, this is no Super Target. Finally, this Target shares parking with Barnes and Noble, Byerly's and Ulta. You can buy a book, pick up chicken and hair gel with one car trip. I knocked a star out because every time we come in to buy one product, like shampoo, or toothpaste, we always end up walking away spending $100 of sh*t that we might or might not need. I know they pump sh*t through the ventilation system that weakens my frugality and I end up purchasing a Michael Grave's potato peeler with a Merona shirt. BTW. I made a mistake going in there with a red shirt and khaki pants. No need to write more about that experience. read more

I went to this Ridgedale Target to pick up a few things with my two daughters and was followed around the store by a Fabio-looking employee during our last few minutes. I have an idea of what that was about and it's insulting and made us feel very uncomfortable. It makes me want to do all of my shopping online. read more

This target is always well stocked and clean. They have employees all over the store for your assistance and they can be very helpful. I enjoy coming to this target as it is their main store (most of the c-suite, VP's, and directors shop at this location), so you're guaranteed a great visit. They also have a large selection of clearance items if that's your thing! Will I be back? Most definitely. read more

I went to this Target a couple of​ weeks ago when we saw that they had their college stuff in stores. Being so ambitious, we were there very soon after opening. Since we were there so early, they had not had time to set everything up, but there were many employees working hard to get the new products out on the floor. A nice young lady asked what we were looking for and when we told her she explained to us that they were still in the midst of getting all of those items out. She then offered to go in back and get out all of the items that we were looking for. This experience was an example of their employees going above and beyond to help customers find what they are looking for. I will always go to the Ridgedale Target first when I am in need of any product they offer. read more

I live by this Target but going forward I am going to skip trying to purchase from this particular Target. The Ridgedale Target has 'HUGE' Inventory management issues which are not related to worldwide production issues that one might think is the reason a particular product is not on the shelves. I went into this Target this morning, Sunday, Oct 3rd and out of the 8 items I was wanting to purchase they only had 2 on the shelves however I had to still compromise and chose a different brand or size. Upon viewing the isles they look barren and unorganized. The other day I went in to try to purchase a few things and of course they were out so I had to drive to the Target on Rockford Road and that Target had 'ALL' of the items I was trying to purchase at Ridgedale. Now I am sure someone will reply that the Target on Rockford Road is a 'Super Target' and the one at Ridgedale is not ...'BUT'..the Ridgedale Target were out of the basic items that anyone can purchase anywhere such as paper towels, bread, jam, mints...etc etc. For instance I really like Lifesavers Mints and Ridgedale Target has been out of all '3' bag sizes for over a month and the Rockford Road Target had all 3 sizes and plenty to chose from. I couldn't even find a 2 Liter of Diet Coke on the shelves at Ridgedale Target today..... Ridiculous. My 2 cents is to completely skip this Target and drive the few miles and minutes it takes and go to the Rockford Road Target. In the long run you will save time and money as you won't have to take the time to go to other stores to find the items you were originally needing. Also Rockford Road Target always seems organized and clean unlike Ridgedale. read more

As with any multi-faceted retail store, this fits the bill. This is the Target location that I grew up at, so I have a particular affinity for the location (haven't been to this location in a looooooooong time). Everything inside looks completely different compared to when I was a kid, but hey, it just shows that they've kept up with the times. Great selection and sales, especially on women's clothing. I came in since I was next door at a another retail outlet and held up my false hope of finding a long-sleeve maxi dress that seems to be impossible to find (do they even exist or is there something I'm missing?!)! No maxi dress, but a number of catchy other misses, sporting wear, and clearance sections to capture my attention. Fall colors aren't really suited for my coloring (browns, oranges, yellows, and other earthy colors make me feel like I blend into the earth), so what I would actually want to by will sadly remain limited until the winter or spring. Just as well. Floors are clean, racks and shelves are well-organized and kept in order. Wouldn't hesitate for a moment to come back to this Target location! read more

Stopped in for a few things. Found a few clothing items and went to try them on. All rooms were open. I chose the closest one and began changing. As I was changing, a Target employee opened the door that I forgot to lock and asked if I was nursing. I was with my infant child and husband in the store, but I was not nursing. I didn't realize I was in the nursing/dressing room. There was another woman who did have a baby who needed the room. The lady, who just walked in on me partially dressed, demanded I leave the room. She said I could not change first and watched me as I frantically collected my things to switch rooms. It was embarrassing and insulting. Even the other mom apologized and later told me that she didn't need to nurse, was just looking for a room to try clothes on in and didn't know why the employee did what she did. The employee was incredibly rude. She not only walked in on me changing, but her complete lack of customer service and basic human dignity was appalling. I spoke with a manager, who was so kind and loving said she would speak with this employee, but this was just so violating. read more

I've forgotten the name of the associate that provided me service, so I apologize for not being able to give him a shout out. I was in town on business from southern California staying at the Sheraton close by. I needed some shoe laces for my "dress shoes". As a lot of Target stores in L.A. are going through a "reset", this location in Minnetonka, MN was going through the same thing. After picking up some beverages and snack food to take back to my room, I wondered around for about ten minutes looking for shoe laces looking in the obvious places for where they might've been. I finally asked one of the associates on the floor to assist me. We had brief conversation as he directed me to the product that I was looking for. He was very personable and knew right off that I was NOT a local. We had a couple laughs before I went to the check out lanes. read more

The only good thing about this Target store is the location, but I usually drive further away to shop at the Target on Highway 101. This store has a poor selection, is often disorganized (for example, shopping for a belt in my size was futile because everything was mixed together), and in general the staff seem dispassionate and give poor customer service. Every time I've looked for organic milk, it's been out of stock. A few times I shopped online and went to the store to buy, and the items weren't in the aisle identified online and/or were out of stock. read more

I have also been subjected to there harassment. My sister and I were shopping at our local Target, near Ridgedale Mall, one evening and felt very unsafe because we were being followed by creepy looking people. I didn't know if they were predators or Loss Prevention (LP) people, and quite frankly, I did not care, as they looked very shady and should not have been stalking us either way. My sister is 14 and I was concerned for her. I wanted to find a security officer in uniform that I could take my concerns to, but there was none to be found. I am angry and our shopping experience was turned into a nightmare by one of two things - either by predators or Loss Prevention people. I have heard horror stories about the type of moral character of these Loss Prevention people, so predator or LP can be ONE IN THE SAME as far as I'm concerned! I don't think I'll be shopping there much anymore, or at the very least, my sister will be carrying a can of Mace to use the next time she feels someone stalking her. I contacted the store the next day asking to talk to the head manager and got the runaround by some punk that happened to clock in that morning. He told me that the head manager would not be in until Monday (this was a Friday that I called). Really?! I asked for the manager's office phone number and he could not give that to me either. I mentioned about being followed and he told me there were no LPs working on the evening I was there. Then, I guess the store really does have a big problem as they have lots of shady and creepy looking people lurking their isles and yet no security officers on duty. If they were, in fact, Loss Prevention people, then the store had better remember this is not a way to treat your customers. The LP or predator following the customers around since the LPs wear plain clothing and "act" like customers. Target would do well to remember that if you scare away a paying loyal customer, then you have done more damage to your store than any shoplifter or pedophile ever could! Target should be more concerned about the shoppers' safety rather than just shoplifters! read more

It used to be fun to run into target to look for a gift for a friend or a new accessory to go with an outfit. But target Ridgedale has changed their lay out for women's clothing and accessories scattering scarves, shoes and purses here and there amongst the children's clothing and juniors and women's department's making it impossible to Dash in for a new fun thing. Now you have to wander here and there and shop all throughout the store and collect all The potential candidates before you can make your decision. Scarves are no longer in one place. Neither are the accessories. Gloves and scarves are tucked in here and there amongst the togs for teens. None of the four people I asked, all of whom I believe tried their best help on their little handheld computers, could seem to find where the scarves were supposed to be. Finally they pulled over a manager and asked her, and she rather smugly explained to me that this was now how target was going to display accessories. I gave up and went to Nordstrom where I found a perfectly lovely scarf. Interestingly, it was in the scarf department, conveniently positioned next to the other scarves allowing me to compare and contrast and make a decision about the gift I was was buying. I am parting with company with target over this issue, it may seem petty but I don't have the time, Or interest, in trotting all over target to find something as simple as a scarf. If I'm going shopping for clothing, I'll go shopping for clothing. (and probably not at target). Targets assumption that I want to be taken advantage of in this way is a mistake. The store- great. Typical target with 5 stars. The pharmacy- has the most rude people I have ever met working there. I needed a prescription and I went ten minutes before closing to pick it up. I couldn't go earlier because I was working.The lady at the counter told me they "ain't got nuthin" for me and didn't bother checking the prescription line. I called my doctor and he told me it was there. I got back in line and told them to check their voicemail and they said they couldn't fill it because they didn't have my birthdate. I told them my DOB and they said "well we are closed in one minute." I told them I had been there for 10 minutes and it wasn't my fault they didn't check their prescription line. The lady I originally talked to rolled her eyes and said "well only five minutes" in a very condescending way. I was very sick at the time and needed the prescription and clearly no one there wanted to help me because their main concern was getting out of there at 6 on the dot not helping their customers. I will never return. Go to the Lunds and Barely pharmacy next door! Much better service! read more

Every time I go to this store it takes for every to checkout and pay. They do not have enough people working at the registers so there are long lines. When I went there today, 3 of the 4 self check out machines were not working. I am not surprised that Target is floundering in the market, they don't have any respect for their customers. read more
