I would say this is a decent location. It's a smaller one, we used to call these locations PFresh (they don't have a full grocery section). It's conveniently connected to the mall which is nice. Sometimes when i'm shopping for gifts at the mall O can run into target for a bag/card without having to drive around. I will say a lot times the stock feels picked over. Also the last 2 times i've been self checkout has been closed with limited lanes open, which is a bit of an inconvenience. read more

The worst experience EVER with the optical department. I ordered glasses two weeks ago and heard nothing back. I placed not one, but TWO calls and left a message. No employee returned either call. I physically went into the store to check on the status of my glasses only to find the optical department closed with a sign that said "I'll be right back." 30 minutes later it was still closed. I used to love Target and would spend at least $50 bucks every time I went in there sometimes more which was a few times a week but now when I go in any Target I find myself walking in and not buying anything. Prices are so high. A can of Busch baked beans is $3.15 and even more expensive at other Targets. Target needs to lower prices and bring back sales. I love this target. I choose to go to this location over everyone because of the prawn location. The customer service is very well. This target never disappointed with its cleanliness as well as the products always being in stock and available. Pricing is always well because they price match their competitors which makes bargain shopping very easy to do. I have never went to this target and not been able to find what I needed or something being out of stock. If you a busy person like me I always suggest using the target app for pick up orders which makes it convenient enough to save a lot of time and not even leave your car to go shopping. read more

This Target is the closest one to my hotel. It's a part of Eden Prairie Center. There is an indoor pathway that connects you between the store and the mall. This store is a regular Target. If you're looking for produce or meat that you find at SuperTarget, this store isn't for you. I love the electronics and cell phone accessories sections. My phone doesn't have a headphone jack. I normally use either wireless earbuds or my USB-C adapter, but I left both at home. I found the most comfortable, affordable pair of wireless earbuds here. I like the clothes at Target. Everything is affordable and doesn't look cheap. I also enjoyed looking at all the laundry detergent, as it's slightly different that what I'm accustomed to back home. You have the option to either use the self-checkout or have humans cash you out. I like the latter approach. I had an older gentleman who was kind and helpful. I used my credit card and my wireless earbuds were mine. I actually headed back to the mall (well, I had to no matter what!) wand tried out my wireless earbuds. Wow. This Target is immense! I didn't shop long but did cruise my favorite sections and was impressed by how well-stocked and well-organized everything was. The grocery area is extensive, as is the cosmetics and beauty department. Everything is clean and well-lit, and they have tons of self-check stations along with the regular check stands. The self-checks are brand-spanking-new and fast as lightning, plus they're well-spaced, so it's easy to get in and out. They also have a larger-than-average landing zone for packing up your purchases. I definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area and need just about anything. read more

Called store service department (during store hours) but no one ever picked up phone. Tried every store department in turn and never got anyone to pick up phone. Solid location attached to a mall. Seems like the location is focused on home decor due to how large the department is. This is a large location and parking is easy. You can access the mall from inside Target, you can park at Target, enjoy the mall and save your Target run right before your departure. This store is gross with garbages overfilling everywhere including the outside garbages and female stall garbages. Women's shoe isles had shoes and sandals out everywhere. I like most of what Target offers. Clean, professional, nice layout. But in order to sell me product(s), they must be on the shelves. Today was the last straw; once again, countless items were not stocked. Yes, I understand it is hard to find employees. (And this was in the morning before rush.) There is no excuse not to have your products available. If you need a bigger overnight crew, do it. Workers not doing their jobs? Hire better ones and raise wages when appropriate. A better mathematical formula on the order / quantity of a stocking is a must. I did speak to a Target "manager" of some sort and simply explained this was unacceptable in a nice tone including the why. Also, I would be shopping elsewhere. I have no idea if he cared. I do know we all have jobs and should do our best at them as long as we accept a paycheck. And just as simply: If you have a store, it should be stocked at the highest level possible. I like this location especially since you can access from the mall! This works for me in the winter time! This store is unique as it is a smaller super target. I enjoy going to this Target but going to the Starbucks is an absolute nightmare. The other day I went to target before work and I went to get Starbucks when I walked up I was greeted...well not really greeted by a girl with purple hair and glasses just staring at me with an annoyed look. She didn't ask or say anything to me so I just started sharing my order. She then proceeded to not say anything to me the whole time then took 10-15 minutes to make a tea...it's like pulling teeth going to this Starbucks in the morning. Please do not consider buying a cell phone at Target. I thought I got a good deal when I used my redcard on my new iPhone purchase and got 5% off. 16 days later, when my phone could not receive email or connect to the internet, and Apple Support could not fix it remotely, they suggested I take it back to Target for an exchange. Target refused to take back the defective phone. Thankfully, the Apple store at Southdale was able to fix the problem after working on it for an hour and a half. This location is not a Super Target but they do have pretty much everything you need for groceries. Just not a deli or a bakery. A quick trip across the street to Cub Foods and you will find those. But this Target IS attached to Eden Prairie Center which you find is a major convenience. I could give a hoot if they allow anyone to use any restroom. Heck, if I need to pee and there is not a line in the men's restroom, where do I pee? In the men's restroom! In all honesty, about 95% of everything I buy is from this Target. Everything but pet food and vodka. And only because they do not sell it. Feeling social? Check out at the register with a live human being. Make a joke, make someone smile today. I come to this Target location at lunch just to browse through the aisles and I almost always leave with something. Target does a great job at staying fresh and knowing its customers. From that area in the front that draws shoppers with so many kitschy items, through bins of $5 movie DVDs, clothing, and more, to the back of the store with its seasonal displays, I doubt anyone gets out of Target without an extra purchase. The women's clothing section features a line called WhoWhatWear with sparkly items for holiday wear. The store is laid out well with labeled aisles to help you easily find what you're looking for. It is well lit and the staff is friendly. Purchase your items through a self-checkout line or with any of the 15+ cashiers and be sure to sign up for the Target Red Card to save an additional 5% on your purchase. read more

Clean, updated, urban Target. They just upgraded this location to include groceries as of Summer 2010. It isn't a "SuperTarget", but I'm not sure of the differences. I can do almost all of my grocery shopping at this location. I guess they are missing a fresh deli/bakery that a SuperTarget might have. No complaints about this location. It is clean, easy to navigate, and in a good location. The staff is efficient at checking you out, and can usually be found throughout the store restocking shelves if you have a question. The only complaint I might have is that they don't currently have paper bags at the checkout. The staff informed me that only supertargets get that special feature. read more

Its a smaller non super target. Yet, its stocked with fresh produce and connected to the mall. Makes it pretty super in my opinion. This particular one is very clean and well stocked. The sales people are super friendly and helpful. Ive never been here on the weekend so I am not sure whats it like then, but during the week the lines are short and good deals are to be found. This is a pretty standard Target, very clean and nicely maintained. The staff is very helpful when you need it. It's well socked with almost everything you could want. I will say they have lacked on the home decor in recent years and the mens clothing selections have become rather limited. But for the basic necessities this target is great. Where target shines is their app. Find something online before you arrive and when you get here the app will tell you the exact aisle in the store where to find it. Target also price matchs Best Buy, Walmart and Amazon at the register so if you're concerned about not getting the best deal bring your smartphone with you to save some money. read more

This is the kinda place where you come if and only if you are looking to spend more money than you would at Walmart across the road. The nice thing is though that they'll keep it and not pass it into their employees. As Walmart currently pays more starting out as well as gives wage increases more frequently. Now in saying that I have no love for Walmart, but the truth of the matter is that most of the money you spend will go to the CEO and board and man does it show. i am beyond angry at the customer service. Me a 15 year old was playing with makeup in the ulta section all of the makeup said "try me". I was with two of my friends and we were just messing around when out of nowhere without any warning before this a worker named nick comes up to us and says "Hey we are not dealing with this shit anymore you guys need to get the hell out" my friend then asked "wait what did we do wrong" Nick then says "you know what you did" then "get the fuck out of ulta" all of this with no warning. He then watched us walk out and yelled at us multiple feet away from us "it clearly says do not exit" he then laughed with his friend obnoxiously while we walked out. if we did something wrong i genuinely don't know what it is and i would want a warning before being cussed out and sworn at. We were 15 and Nick obviously looked older than us. He publicly humiliated us and laughed about it. I want action to be taken against this person and i will not be returning to eden prairie target. Yesterday 9/5/18, I walked into the Eden Prairie Target store to purchase a few items for dinner. I opened the milk refrigerator and was horrified to find mold on the shelves, spoiled and rotten milk in the front trays and dead flies in the spoiled milk. I took pictures. The grocery department was disorganized and the stock was so low that there were multiple empty shelves. I shop at this Target a lot. The whole store is disheveled, disorganized, old and dirty. I do not understand why it hasn't been upgraded like all of the other targets in the surrounding area. read more

I shop at Target for almost every need. I live very close to the Eden Prairie Target so that is my go to store for almost everything. For 2 months I have not been able to get paper towels, or toilet paper there. Yesterday, hallelujah, I found both! I couldn't believe my luck! I bought one pack of each as the rules stated and was so pleased to have finally found these after all this time. As I was walking down an isle a female middle aged Target EMPLOYEE approached me and said "Do you need all those paper products?" I was taken aback and answered "excuse me?" She repeated, this time more emphatically, "I really don't think you need all that. There are other people who need them more! You should put some back" (note:They came in a pack of 4. Was I supposed to open up the 4 pack and just take one, but pay for 4?) I was was speechless, and then incredulous! When I recovered my wits I said "Who do you think you are? You're rude, and you need to check yourself!" I walked away fuming, unfortunately without getting her name. I wish I had noted her name because I would have reported her to the store manager. Please don't waste your time and come here. No cashiers ever, so people with carts full to the brim go to the self checkout. People are inconsiderate and rude and will cut in front of you in a line. Cashiers will help other people and when you get to them they will say they are closed. It is a shit show in the parking lot so be prepared to spend 20 mins parking. Don't even bother using the bathrooms here unless stepping on used toilet paper and female sanitary products is your thing. Had to put my things back and leave. read more
