This is one if my favorite stores for organizing. I'm a fanatic and they have everything I need. They don't always have it for the price I want but if I'm gonna splurge it's for their product. The Home Edit line is perfection. Netflix got me and I love their bins for my pantry. I highly suggest you check out their wrapping section. They have some of the most unique pretty wrapping paper. There may not be a lot of it and it may be slightly more expensive but you won't have the same target gift bag when you walk into the baby shower or birthday party. Join the rewards you can usually get an additional 10% off vs not having it. I haven't figured it out when but just by signing up you get $10 off.

Wonderful display areas. You truly feel as if it's your space. Many colors in many options. Amazing gift section, I'll be back specifically around Christmas time to shop in that section. Staff are willing to help. Amazing website as well. Great visit.

I always like coming to these places. It's like a baby IKEA. Found some good vertical storage pieces here.

We just redid our laundry room but we weren't quite sure what we wanted for storage. LISA at the Edina Store was patient with us and we ended up with exactly what we wanted and needed! East to install, fun to organize! Thanks!

For some reason, I always anticipate the arrival of a new chain store in the Cities. Now, I don't particularly like chain stores, but I find them useful. While Im not a frequent shopper at Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware, or Crate and Barrel, I'd much rather have them accessible than find myself drooling over their online catalogues. It's kind of like a security blanket...just knowing they are there if I need them is sometimes enough for me. The Container Store is one of those things for me. I've been into a few. I've never found them awe-inspiring or offering much more than a Storables (I do, however, feel more compelled to organize my life after leaving though). But I like having it here. Legitimizes us more. How sad is it that I feel the Twin Cities national legitimacy is somewhat based on the presence of national chains? Pretty pathetic, if you ask me. But, hey, this is my review. But what about the store itself? It's just fine. It offers a storage solution for every need, and you pay a pretty penny for this organization. I was there opening weekend, so I can't comment on the customer service or general vibe or the place since it was hectic. Now if we could get a CB2, I'd sleep easier.

Great store, great products, but as far their closet systems go... 1) Don't expect them to get your order right the first time. Be ready to make that second, or third, trip back. 2) They're busy. And probably understaffed. Don't expect to be acknowledged as you're waiting for help. And when someone finally does see you, they'll add you to the queue. Then you wait again. 3) And if you're as lucky as me, they'll send you home with a defected item. (Pictured) I always find myself going back because I love their products. However, words cannot express my frustration for their errors. Nothing like terrible customer experience to deter someone from products they love.

I came in specifically to look at Joybird sofas as they are an authorized retailer and have sofas on the sales floor. Its scary to make an online purchase (and such a large, custom purchase) without touching and feeling an item, so I was thrilled to learn this store was so close to home and had what I was looking to purchase. I had a great time working with Kristin. After countless emails and a couple visits to the store I ordered my sofa, and also ended up with a chair and lamp. Kristin was great to offer her designer opinion while listening to mine and helping me make the big decision based on my existing home design. They offer financing (OAC) and 'white glove' delivery (they take all the packaging stuff with them when they leave, set the item in the room of your choosing) just like Joybird, but they will for other items you purchase there, too. The kicker is the 2 week in home trial period. Keep it for two weeks and if you decide you hate it they will take it back to the store and offer you store credit to replace the item. This really eased my worry about spending 2K on a sofa I may not like as much in person. I can't wait until it arrives! They also have home decor items here, like pillows and lamps. Its a super fun place to just look around and get inspiration, or fall in love with a custom fox lamp which would totally look amazing on your nightstand. Or maybe that fun mounted anatomical model of a heart on your desk. Or maybe that chair with acrylic arms. You get the idea... Inventory is changing constantly, so visit often. See you there!

I immediately knew I was going to be at home in this store. There was furniture and accessories, for you neutral people there was plenty of that. For those of us who like color, plenty of that too. My designer Billie was super sweet and let me browse but also let me know that anything can be custom ordered and that this is just a small sampling of what they can get for me. I wasn't sure if I could afford it so I had her price out a chair for me it was $1100 but they had a 20% off sale so it would be $880. I'm new to furniture shopshopping so I went to another store later (La-Z-Boy) and it was comparable to that. I walked in at 20 minutes to closing on a Sunday night, but Billie didn't seem rushed at all. I was the one saying "let's just wrap this up. Can you give me something to look at online?" And she gave me two websites she thought I would like based on our conversations and looking at what they have to offer. I will see where our furniture shopping journey takes me but I plan to be back!

We had 3 dance parties in the private bathrooms because she just couldn't get enough. Food wise- it's ok. You can't go wrong with burrata. The lobster roll was a little disappointing. A smallish roll with a bit of lobster resting on the top. Sides are a la cart. I forget which steak we ordered but it was decent. It was cooked nicely and had good flavor. The menu is half fancy half diner. You can get a burger and chocolate chip cookies or steak and affogato. The value is in the aesthetics and not the food. Don't expect the best meal of your life or you'll be disappointed. Catch the sunset for a lovely glow around the fountain and chandeliers.

The RH store downstairs is beautiful -- thoughtfully staged showrooms with on-trend furniture, flattering lighting, and aspirational everything. Upstairs, though, feels curiously drab by comparison: gray floors, gray seating, chandeliers with fake plastic candles, large fake trees that scream "mall atrium," and marble tables permanently covered in water stains. For a company that trades in curated aesthetics, the restaurant is joyless, even tacky. The menu doesn't redeem it. The cheapest glass of cabernet is $25 -- from a Robert Hall bottle you can buy at Total Wine for fifteen to twenty bucks. I wish I were joking. This glass of wine set the tone for pricing untethered from quality. The burger was passable but unremarkable, its patties overcooked and lacking much flavor. The $56 petite filet was the real tragedy: lukewarm upon arrival, burnt around the edges, rare-pushing-raw in the middle, completely flavorless, and shockingly dry. After two tentative bites, I had to set it aside. My dad tried a bite too, and agreed something was wrong with the meat. 30 minutes later, a stomach event proved us both right. The Béarnaise sauce, usually my ride-or-die, arrived broken, watery, and depressing. If this were your first taste of Béarnaise, you'd never order it again. The service was almost as bad as the food. When I told our server something seemed off with the steak, he silently took the plate, avoided eye contact, and walked away. As someone who has worked in a variety of restaurants, that short interaction that lacked any attempt of finding a resolution was the most shocking part of the night. RH built its reputation on staging perfection. Here, that illusion collapses under the weight of overpriced wine, flavorless food, and inattentive service. For a restaurant so heavily invested in appearances, it's astonishing how little care goes into the experience.

R&B has essentially decided to end that relationship over an $800 purchase of picture frames that they never delivered. Here's how it went down: In late December, we ordered $800 of photo frames and received an expected availability date of 4 March - 8 March from R&B. Based on their estimate, we planned a trip overseas for early February. On February 6th, with no advanced notice from R&B, we were advised by UPS that the frames had shipped, 2 days before we were scheduled to leave the US. Not wanting my frames to sit on my front porch in the snow for 3 or 4 days, I requested that R&B inform UPS to hold the delivery. That didn't happen. Instead, R&B recalled the order and set up a delivery for March 3rd, again without informing me. When I returned to the US and discovered what they had done, I gave R&B 2 business days to either get the order into UPS' hands or to refund my money. Guess which they chose? R&B essentially helped themselves to an $800, 6 week, loan and in the end, were too lazy to even bother shipping our purchase to us. At every stage they failed to communicate. And if those lapses weren't enough, I had 2 R&B customer service representatives disrespect my disability. (I am severely hearing-impaired, and both R&B reps hung up on me when I instructed them on how they were to communicate so I could understand them--as I am entitled to do under the ADA.) Long-story-short: R&B threw away a 25 year relationship because they're lazy and don't know how to do their jobs. Shop elsewhere. I will.
