This was the first time I tried the pickup service. It was simple. I ordered online and waited by the sign for pickup. There were people shopping and with no masks going into the atore. When you arrive at the pick up area, you let Target know you are there and they bring your products to you. You open your trunk and they put it in for you. Very simple and safe. Love it. read more

I never leave reviews but I feel as if I have to due to my experience at this Target. It was my first and last time coming here. My friend, sister, and I went to this specific Target on Saturday, January 28th as it has an Ulta Beauty store inside of it, it was an all-in-one stop so it was convenient because there is also a gas station nearby. We needed to pass to Target to get feminine products, snacks, and because we each had multiple gift cards to Ulta. We begin shopping at the Ulta section of the store, there were no workers there or checkout areas so once a lady who works there comes around I ask her if we can check out there or if we have to check out up front and she asks if it will be cash or card, so I tell her it will be with card and she says I can check out there so I tell her we were still going to get snacks and would be back and she proceeds to insist to pay on the spot, I tell her once again that we were not done shopping and she continues to insist. We begin to walk away and she stops me and tells me to leave our basket of stuff up in front so we did because I didn't want to start any problems or make a scene and she was giving us very dirty looks the whole time so I decided to cooperate and leave our basket. She begins to text somebody which we did not think much of but when we were in the chips and candy section we notice a male worker circling around us over and over again, I notice and say out loud that I believe she asked him to spy on us pretty much and as soon as he hears this he walks away and does not come back so we know he was just trying to see what we were doing. At this point, we felt extremely uncomfortable and judged as no one else was being treated this way and there were others in the makeup section who were not stopped or looked at twice so we decide to just go up front and check out, we go to get our basket up from where the lady was chaperoning it only for it to be completely out of sight and not where she told me to leave it, so I pulled out my three gift cards and my credit card and she's giving us very dirty and judgemental looks so I held them up for her to see them and told her we would be leaving all the makeup as we did not want to put up with that. We went to the self-checkout to buy the snacks and other products we needed and there was nobody chaperoning the self-checkout area and coincidentally right as we get there, two workers (an older lady and a man) stand literally like three feet being us just staring at only us. We just wanted to leave and to our luck, the register wasn't working properly so I had to turn around and ask them for help, the lady looked very annoyed and was being super rude even though the whole time before this I managed to keep my calm and be respectful. We check out and as we're heading out the man and lady walk away and do not check the other customers checking out so we know for a fact that they were just there for us. I look to my right and see the man staring at us walk out and mumbling to himself so I look at him and ask "Do you have a question for us" he turned red and replied with "Do you?" to which I said something along the lines of "Its because you guys have been following us around and making us feel extremely uncomfortable" and he just said "have a nice day" pretty much ignoring us and telling us to leave. Throughout our whole trip, we felt extremely uncomfortable and judged, we will not be returning to this store and it was a waste of time. read more

But another I live you in and coming back is because of the customer service... a target member I loved and got to make fiends with was EMMIE she amazing as well she helped a lot in the beauty department. This location is one of the cleanest, most organized Targets I've been to. They have a large store with great selections, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I enjoy coming to this Target because it's always easy to find what I need. The cashiers are also nice and very personable which is a joy to have after a busy day. I've tried to give this place a chance but literally every time I go, they never have any of the items I am looking for. I had such a good customer service experience today, so I wanted to share. Basically I put a box of Trulys on the bottom rack of the shopping cart after check out, and forgot to put them in my car before returning the cart to the corral. I didn't realize this until I got home. I went back to the store and couldn't find the box in the shopping cart. One the attendants at the entrance of the store, talked to the manager/supervisor (?) and they offered to replace the item with no questions asked. BUYER BEWARE: worst customer service dept at service counter. worst phone service. i called 6x about a item i paid for and forgot at the counter & everytime i was on hold for over 11 minutes each time. the phone rang & rang & not one person had the courtesy to answer. shitty store personnel. no managers available. one employee did stand out. samee. a cashier. very nice, talked to us the whole time checking out, very personable. an all around nice employee. he was the only one to make an effort to treat customers with courteousness. we still didn't get our fan, yet the registers have recording cameras to show who, what, where, when an item was purchased. buyer beware of this store. read more

Today I witnessed a customer harassing your associate and I was thoroughly impressed by the electronic associates composure. He was very respectful of the customer even though the customer was becoming more and more aggressive. My 14 year old daughter bought a sweater at a different Target closer to where we had dinner but they accidentally left the sensor on her sweater. So when we got home my daughter noticed the sensor. I bought it to my target closer to our home. My daughter ran in to have them take the sensor off. Sidenote, when we left the first target the sensor did not go off. When she entered and I entered the second time the sensor went off in my normal target. A long story short, one of the ladies in the customer service, and it kills me that I didn't get her name, accuse my daughter of stealing the sweater and refused to takeoff the sensor. Telling her that we had to go to the target that we originally bought it from to take it off to take it off. You can only imagine how furious I am at this lady's bad choice of words. How dare you accuse my child of stealing! Needless to say I will be finding a new target to shop at. I refuse to shop at a target where women bully children! read more

I shop at target even though walmart is closer. But this experience has changed my mind. I had multiple egift cards in my email that I received from purchasing stuff online. I went to self checkout because it's usually faster. All I wanted to do was buy some stuff and use my gift cards. After scanning the second egiftcard, the computer was stuck in some kind of error mode. I asked the worker named "CINDY" in her 50s and she came by to clear the error. I scanned the third one, and it did the same thing again. So I had to wait for another minute for her to come back to me to clear it again. I asked her nicely if she can stay here so that I can scan more giftcards so that I dont have to keep waiting for her to come back every single time I scan the gift cards. Then she said "IT DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF SELF CHECKOUT IF I HAVE TO STAND HERE. I SUGGEST YOU GO TO MAIN REGISTERS, SON" But doesnt it defeat the purpose of you being there and getting paid, if you can't help a customer to use gift cards? And why is there gift card payment option on the screen in the self checkout computer if I cannot use it? For reference, it was not busy time of the day, there was no line of people waiting to get in self checkout, and not all stations were full. Secondly, don't call me son because I am too old to be your son. Dont judge by how young I look.  Other workers at self checkout is nice, but be aware of this one. read more

We have tried numerous times to give this location a chance. THEY ARE ALWAYS OUT OF EVERYTHING! It is customary to carry the Target brand at your Target location, is it not??? I was hoping to come in before work to pick something up since I saw that it said opened at 7am however I went to open the door it was locked. This Target is not a Target. I swear, the name Target (in my mind) has always been synonymous with a zen shopping experiences. Like, "give me my mink, Jeeves, I need to glide over to Tar-jhaaaay and retrieve my Chardonnay wine cube" This Target kind of sucks. I don't know if I was spoiled by Target Naperville (shout out, Route 59!) and Target Warrenville (wooooot, Diehl Road!) but I have obviously been spoiled by Targets that run like machines in Illinois. Target in Illinois does NOT let people wait in line, they open registers ASAP. That *ish is serious. Mister blonde ponytail who oversees the check outs at Target Costa Mesa is planning his Saturday night at the Lion's Den in his head or something. Walkee-talkee the team up to assist before you have lines of eight "guests" deep, dude. Seriously. It doesn't matter what time I'm there, there is ALWAYS. A. LINE. (I think I'm getting exponentially b*tchier since moving to the OC, btw, so take this review at face value) The other thing I don't understand is the miniscule nature of the grocery area. I LOVE TARGET. Period. I was never really compelled to write a review for Target since its well... Target. What more can I say about it? BUT I did "Black Friday" shopping for the first time this year and I was SUPER impressed. I have always heard about those crazy stories that occur during this day.. but this Target was SUPER organized. I waited in line with my friends - given we came early at like 4pm. They had lines set up and plenty of trash cans so theres not trash all over the place like some other places we visited afterwards... Close to opening, they passed out these maps (they're on line also) showing where all the hot items will be so my friends and I can strategize. Then they also passed out tickets for the 50" TV deal. I got one! Yay!! They give you 2 hours to claim your ticket so you can actually go grab other things first. The crowd was well controlled - minus a few attitudy people who i think were just born that way. There was no running, pushing, yelling, screaming - maybe a few power walkers lol. The items were displayed well and clearly organized. Trash wasn't all over the place and the products weren't thrown everywhere. No one got hurt! Well, in my group of friends, at least... I went thinking, "if we're lucky," we'll come out with one item. We came out with everything we had our eyes on!!! ALSO, I had a Rx Rewards coupon (5% off purchases) you can use it in combination with all of their sales - on top of the 5% you get off using your Red Card!!! For big purchases, the savings is awesome!!! The coupon lasts all day so go get your prescriptions at Target to get those coupons! OH AND I also used the cartwheel app... lol. The biggest Target around here... it's so big it's called Target Greatland. I love this location the best because it's clean, organized, and has everything I need all the time. They now have a grocery section inside as well. I don't even have to run over to Albertson's or Henry's anymore for deli meats, milk, and Simply Lemonade?!?! sweeeet I always stock up before a trip anywhere as well. The travel section, the easy throw away dresses and clothing, the luggage, all here. So great. I never go in here without buying something awesome. Everything else in this lot is pretty convenient too. The Starbucks, the Baja Fresh, Henry's, Hallmark....although technically, everything they sell is probably also sold inside Target.... oh, and SIMPLY LEMONADE goes on sale at random times for $1.99. OMG!!!!!! I always buy all I can hold in my basket, and happily drink it all summer! read more

My favorite Target! Obviously, this is not a local business. However, shopping there feels very comfortable. The employees are friendly and helpful. The store is clean. Today, I was having trouble with my Red Card. The manager helped me personally and instead of giving me the customary discount, she gave me a 20% discount. Oh how I miss FedCo! Target is a very, very poor substitute. WalMart is a FAR superior store. Even K-Mart, with it's rude service and high prices, is still a better store then Target. Their items are cheaply made and sold at expensive prices. Despite the fact that they do have overweight customers, they do not have a plus size section at all. Target is anti-religious as well. They refuse to allow the Salvation Army to solicit donations there because of their religious connections. If it wasn't for the SA my brother would still be an alcoholic. Yet, despite their anti-religious stance they want us to do our Hanukkah and Christmas shopping there? I think not. Avoid Target at all costs. You're better off shopping at Big Lots. read more

COVID CASES ALERT - The manager here is terrible somehow they have 4 confirmed COVID cases originating from this target. Be aware there are idiots who work here. COVID handling is aweful and can't give a clear answer and keeps passing me along to other associates to cover their own asses so no one has the authority to make decisions and answer a question. Also, if you want curbside pickup, you'll have to download the app and request it through the app. You can't order it online and call them to request for curbside pickup - absolute require you to download bloatware app on their phone so they can collect your information. read more

Ok, so I normally wouldn't review a commercial everyday place like Target, unless of course ... something exceptionally bad or good happened. Well, about 1 week ago, I was there buying everyday items, which included 2 12-packs of diet pepsi. Well silly me forgot them under my cart when loading up my car with my purchases. I didn't realize what I had done until I was 10 minutes away. So I turned around to head back, praying they would still be there (fat chance right?). In the meantime, I called the Harbor Target and spoke to their customer service dept. Christian was the person that assisted me on the phone, he was very friendly right from the start. I babbled about what I had done, he put me on hold to see what he could do, then told me to come back in with the receipt and he would replace them for me. I came in and he was able to replace my 2 12-packs of diet pepsi without a problem. I was very grateful for that kind of service. I have returned items that have broken & I have purchased elsewhere and this store still stands by its policy with NO receipt & gives me the new item with no questions asked;) I'll keep coming here for days on end! read more
