We went on a weekend before the news they're closing and I told my wife "there is no way this is sustainable". It's a MASSIVE store and there was not a single other customer in the entire building on a weekend. The utility bill alone for such a massive store needs more than one customer. Everything you can imagine is sold here from holiday decorations, to furniture, to air fryers. Prices were decent so I picked up a few things I needed and so did my wife. Formerly the KMart store, this place took over. I've never been to one and decided to check it out. This place is huge and so much space for all the decor to fit. I had a time limit and was just checking the V-day stuff so it was a short visit. They had a pretty small display so it was a little disappointing. Before leaving the store, I searched my phone for California locations.. and was lucky enough to find one right here in Huntington Beach. At Home is a Homegoods store on crack. This warehouse style building is filled with everything you would need to make your house a home. From cutesy decor to basic necessities, this place has it all. While the quality might not be top tier, they make up for it with the pricetag. At Home has become one of my favorite places to buy holiday decor. The At Home website helped me to ID some plant pots I wanted to buy and they were located at this Costa Mesa store. I bought 4 beautiful pots to spruce up my patio in the gray color and size I wanted when my local store was sold out. If you're not familiar, "At Home" is "the" big box warehouse of home decor compared to how Home Depot is the big box warehouse of home improvement. Where Home Depot has maybe one row of plant pots, At Home has 6-8 rows of plant pots to choose from. It's great! read more

A gentleman named Angel went above and beyond for me yesterday afternoon and I can't thank him enough! I was shopping alone, and I couldn't lift or fit the Christmas tree I wanted into my cart. When I went to checkout I mentioned the tree and he didn't hesitate to walk over, hoist it over his shoulder, bring it back to the register to ring it up, hoist it onto his shoulder again and walk it out to my car to be placed into my trunk. Wow wow wow! I happened to stumble upon this store only a few days after it opened looking for Xmas decor and boy it did not disappoint!!! There are rows and rows of Xmas decor and dozens of trees available. Pricing is more than affordable, less than hobby lobby. This is a hidden gem for sure! Never in my life have I dealt with someone with the worst attitude in my life. Renee was aggressive. I am in management in retail and confused how she still has a job. I called and asked to check if something is in stock instead of helping she complained that "we only have 3 people working tonight and it's going to be a minute" and then didn't get back on the phone... then went all the way to the store from Long Beach (20 minute drive) to give her benefit of doubt and asked the manager if she works here and her response was "do I work here?? Do you not see what I am doing?? I asked her if she saw the product I went In for and she said I'm not sure you can go look over there but if it's not there we don't have it and walked away. I went back looked for a sec and as I'm walking out I see her dealing with a customer outside and she walks and says ohhh you people really testing me tonight and I walked up and said who is the manager? We purchased Pots for our Atrium. The receipt read returns are accepted within 90 days. We bought them 5/31 and returned them today 8/09. My calculation that is 70 days, They still had the stickers on them and we had the receipt, they just didn't got with what we were looking for. They gave us a store credit!! It's a great store, but the system that keeps track of their insider perks customer purchases properly, and also, the prices being rung up are not consistent with the price tags, so buyer beware, and check as they ring up. Hours have changed as well, used to be open until 10, now only 9. They refuse to give me store credit or a refund because they cannot find the purchase on my card or my account and I don't receive email receipts. I have notified the store and customer service multiple times to fix the error. I have spent thousands of dollars here and they have no record of it. Now I'm stuck with hundreds of dollars of pots that I am unable to even get credit for. Please note, the receipts state the following, "no receipt? No problem! Returns of unused items in original packaging will be fully refunded within 60 days (90 days perks insider member) with proof of purchase through the insider perks account or credit card or receipt and valid ID. If your purchase cannot be verified, you'll be issued a store credit based on the current price of the item(s)". Note: they limit how many returns can be made by ID, which it doesn't say anywhere on the receipt. Bryan, the manager, told me to go to the website to contact us and submit my complaint, and it won't even go through, stating invalid email address, which is an account I use everyday, so of course, I tried multiple other email addresses, with the same result, invalid email address. They make it impossible. Manager says there's nothing he can do. Unfortunate, but I will only go to this store as a very last resort. read more

Buyer beware. My son bought a double bin trash set. He drove it home to Northern California and it was missing the smaller can plus there was a used Qtip in the large can. I called Brian the manager and asked for at least a partial credit. I also offered to ship it back if they would provide a label. He said the store does not offer credit and he "had no shipping labels." He suggested we drive it back from Northern California which of course is ridiculous. It's too bad a creative solution could it have been suggested. Won't be going there again. read more

I am beyond livid and disappointed in my first ever experience shopping with at home. It was for store pickup. I bought this product and drove over an hour each way to pick it up. Ordered roughly around 10 am and picked up around 730 pm and my order still was NOT picked!!! I had to literally walk to the shelf and pick my own item off the shelves! I purposely ordered online as this was the only store in 350 miles that I was looking for and it couldn't be shipped! My order status said order ready for pickup, yet it was never picked. Not one employee was knowledgeable, employees on there phone instead of helping us, store pickup was a disaster, cashier couldn't even tell me where store pickup was even tho it was 2 cash registers down from her she pointed me to a corner and said it's in a corner somewhere ! Then I asked for a manager and JACKIE who was called for 10 minutes on Walky talkies she NEVER arrived !!! Not one manager came! Two male employees asked several times over the walkies YET NO ONE CAME or acknowledged it! An employee told us the store opened last Wednesday and we were there Saturday ... you would have thought in 4 days the manager staff would be on point helping customers and the staff would at least know where the store pickup was from their orientation.....
