I usually go to Bath & Body Works a few times a year when I receive their email notifications about their sale. This is one of their largest locations in OC. The store is very clean and well-organized. It is always fully stocked. I always find the fragrances that I like and get good service here. It appears to be a good business because I always see a big crowd in here and everyone seems to be buying a bunch. Their lotions are nice and creamy but some of them the fragrances are way too strong, they give me a headache later. I also like to buy the hand soap and usually like the fruit scent since they are much lighter. I would pick up a whole bunch when they go on sale and give some to my sisters. I'm a huge fan of Bath and Body Works, so when I find out they are having a sale and my birthday is coming up, I need to stock up. First off, as soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the employee who was amazing. He answered my questions and even let me know about all the great deals. I ended up doing the buy 3 and get 3 free and I redeemed my free reward for one free item. So highly recommend you sign up for the rewards program to get this great reward like I did. A few of my favorite scents are Champagne Toast, At the Beach, Black Cherry Merlot (only available in candles and hand soap), and some of the Halloween scents-Vampire Blood and Ghoul Friend. Back in the day I also enjoyed Sweet Pea and still do but have not bought anything in awhile with this scent. Overall, great location and great variety of products from beauty products, candles, makeup, and so much more. Great location with plenty of in stock items, even when they have their semi annual sale. The sales associates were helpful in showing me the scented hand soap I want without being too pushy in selling me it. They have a great selection including White Barn candles and sink to wash your hands using samples. Great customer service! Went to do an exchange and the process was extremely smooth. I was the next person in line and there were two cashiers both helping customers but they were taking a bit of time. Another staff member saw this and jumped to open up a register to help me. Additionally I wasn't too sure which scents related to which car freshener because some weren't labeled and a staff member helped me with different candles and a spray card. I walked into the store with my friend so excited to get pocket hand sanitizers and there was a sign that read limit 20. We ended up grabbing 16 in total and when we were at the register the employee DID NOT GREET US AT ALL WHICH WAS EXTREMELY RUDE WHAT A B****H. I even said hi and no response. When it came down to counting the hand sanitizers she told us it was only a limit of 10 and I asked why if there was a sign that read LIMIT 20. She said because that was the only sign they had. In my opinion they should print out a sign or correct their sign that reads limit 20. I will definitely not be coming back here. Her cashier ID is 3101409. Let's start with some background... so every year I put together holiday gift baskets for everyone in my office. Naturally, with all of those purchases, I rack up some rewards. Well, it's that time of year and so far I have racked up 7 rewards. I used one, so I should have 6 remaining, or so I thought... While out of town recently, I logged into my account and noticed all of my rewards were gone. So when I went into the store for my pick up order, I thought I would ask the staff what happened, hoping my app had just glitched. Right away I was greeted by Crystal, who was more than happy to help and tried checking her system to see if it differed from the app. Unfortunately, it was the same, so she suggested we call customer service. She jumped on the phone with them and right away they start giving her the run around, starting with stating that I didn't have a rewards plan!! to which she stated "I'm looking at it". While she continued to argue with this knucklehead on my behalf, Alisa came out and started looking up each of my individual orders to confirm they weren't accidentally used. (They weren't) So she simultaneously jumps on another line with customer service who after 20-30 minutes tells her that there was a glitch in the system and my rewards went to someone else. In short, customer service kept these ladies on the phone for a total of 45 minutes and they continued to fiercely advocate for me. So a huge THANK YOU to Crystal and Alisa who successfully proved to customer service that their system messed up my rewards and had all of my rewards returned to my account. When I came here the other day during their semi-annual sale, everything was 50% off! They usually have a good selection of scented candles, but on this visit I noticed that a lot of my favorite candles were picked over, especially the smaller-sized candles. Customer service is usually pretty good at most locations. This store had plenty of employees, but all seemed to be in deep conversation with each other during the entire time we shopped here. When I finally found an employee that appeared to be working, she tried to help me find the things I needed. I really appreciated her help. I still love shopping at Bath & Body Works. I was assaulted by foofy smells with my first step in the door. This store (at South Coast Plaza) is surprisingly large with several rooms full of scented soaps, body lotions, air fresheners and candles. All their products are organized very neatly on shelves. An enormous variety of scents and colors are available to choose from. There are even soaps and lotions with manly names like Alpine and Mahogany for men who like to smell vibrantly fresh. Store employees are helpful once you get their attention. They had some great sales going on the day I was here. My wife and her friend walked out with a basket full of stuff and were excited about the deals they got. I walked out and deeply inhaled a lung full of fresh unscented air. read more

I personally don't like complaining but I think that what happened today was extremely unprofessional and shouldn't be allowed. I went in today to look for a birthday gift and see if I could turn in some candle that I had used (I was told it could be done so I wanted to see if was true). I came in and came up to two employees, one was putting some things away and the other was just looking towards the door, I politely said I was sorry for interrupting and that I had a question, the lady that was looking towards the door (I think her name is Trisha) told me what I needed, I asked about the candles and she said "that's a hard no bro" and explained how the policy had changed and stuff but called me bro twice. I think this is very unprofessional and super rude since this was a simple oh I'm sorry but we changed our policy. Huge store! With a wide variety of supplies. The employee in the front, Kim, found me after 2 minutes and welcomed me, asking me if I was shopping for myself or for someone else. She listened and helped me along with the Christmas/holiday scents and also got a shopping bag for me, as I was carrying a lot of other things. I loved their HUGE variety, but buying 4 of something to get a lower price? You need another BBW buddy to go with. I used to work nearby and shop here almost every time. I love almost everything they have and I have vast collections of lotions, body sprays, shower gels, candles, you name it..I probably have it. That's the girlie side of me. Bath and Body Works satiates the sensual side of me. This flagship store is amazing. They have everything and you can get lost looking for things and easily spend a lot of money here. The staff here is super friendly and amazingly helpful. Over the years, a few of my favorites have started to disappear and this weekend I was a little disappointed that the new scents didn't quite live up to expectations and the body sprays were "perfumy." I like subtle smells and I have a particular scent. I love giving bear hugs and everyone saying "I love that you smell so good." Now they've discontinued my body spray! My secret is to spray a little onto my hairbrush and weave it into my hair and just a tad on my neck. Now what will my signature scent be?? :( read more

Even though it's South Coast Plaza, SCP has stores that are kind of fun and, honestly, probably more of a guilty pleasure for people to go to. Because, let's be frank, you REALLY do not need 5 bottles of body lotion, all in different scents. Or the 8 bottles of body wash. But, honestly, when it's one of those 75% off sales, or post-season sales, I find it the best time to go. 5 for $5 antibacterial soaps for your favorite teachers? Hell yes. 50% off candles to help mask some fair bathroom odors? Why not? 75% off bubble batch so you and your significant other can just dump around 1/4 of the bottle in so that you get bubbles galore? Fun times! Plus, service has always been pretty good. Employees seem to listen to their managers, the managers seem to take the employees' suggestions to heart, the employees are friendly, and the lines can move super-fast. Never saw an issue. And the employees seem to hustle, as I noticed that when things seemed slow, they would be organizing things and making sure everything is in proper order. Awesome. What a nice store! This location is one of 2 flagship stores in the OC. I love how they have EVERYTHING in there. I went in there to purchase something specific but ended up getting a whole lot more. My brother bought a bag which was on sale. It was so cute and would be a perfect diaper bag for my niece. It is reversible too. For $10 you get the bag PLUS a bagful of samples, which my bro gave me. Love this store and all the seasonal items they sell. I have been purchasing items from here for years. Never been disappointed with their products. I don't really care for sweet smelly stuff and that's OK because this place has option for everyone, including men. Their massage and relaxation items are very nice and great quality. The fragrance of their candles it is what the label claims, step back Yankee candles..................... this ones are way better, they burn well and affordable during a sale. Are we not in South Coast Plaza anymore? This visit was definitely different from a few months ago. New employees and new attitudes. One girl was yelling loud all the sales for the store to hear. It was funny at first, then annoying. Then, I didn't want to remove a candle from one of the holders to buy the holder, so I asked an employee and she gave attitude because she had just displayed it. My husband joked with her back and forth because we wanted that style and not another that was near but it was just awkward. If my husband wasn't there I wouldn't have bought it. She made it weird by denying to get it even if it was joking. Then at the cash register my husband mistakenly pulled out the wrong coupon email and the girl rudely said that was for another store. Even our daughter said the cashier looked bothered by his mistake. You know the dropped shoulders, eye roll and hands on the counter like annoyed. It made him feel embarrassed which was unnecessary. she was rude. One thing I really love about B&BW is the customer service. The staff always greet me when I enter and they're really helpful. There was one who went out of her way to find out what I like, showed me where I can find those items and even pointed out a couple sales that I took advantage of.
