I wanted to preface my review by saying not all Targets are created equally and the one on South Blvd proves that. From the onset, you'll find it difficult to find a decent parking space and the parking spaces are very close together, so I usually park further away from the store, which is a hassle. When you enter, you'll see it's your typical run of mill Target but what makes the difference is the atmosphere. What do you mean Anthony? Well, the atmosphere is a little gloomy and maybe it's the lighting but I being here doesn't exude the need to stay long. Also, I noticed that the cleanliness of the store can be suspect sometimes and if that's the case I might as well go to Wal-Mart! The associates typically seem to be in a rush to get their jobs done and have little time for customer interactions, such as assisting customers, saying hello or other minute details that make you feel welcome. The selection here is very typical of other Targets but I guess when the shelves are messy, you really don't have the energy to search and search for something as simple as pet care products. In closing, you can skip this Target unless you're in the area and need a few items, otherwise it's best to wait. This is my personal opinion and well others may feel differently. Florida- They do not enforce masks inside the store. I was told they could ask customers to wear them but they are not allowed to enforce compliance (as per corporate directives). I think it is a shame they do not care more about their staff and customers. read more

Call me different but I'm not a fan of this location. I've tried to give this place a chance on four different occasions but it's no use. This particular location never carries everything that I need. Every time I come to this location, I always leave without everything I was hoping to pick up. Another problem I've always encountered here is when it's time to check out there is always a wait because there are never enough cashiers at the registers. No matter what day or time that you shop! I will stick to the location in Steele Creek going forward! read more

While this isn't my go-to Target (that would be Midtown Tar-jay), this location suits just fine if I'm bopping around South Blvd. It's your typical store (not a super Target), with plenty of well-stocked, super clean aisles, well organized stuffs and plenty of season items. Parking is pretty much a breeze considering that Target is on the far end of this shopping center. One point I must make is about the staff.... Hubs and I were killing some time at this store before a matinee at the AMC next door and we were told to "have a pleasant shopping experience" by three different Target staffers. I like this Target for a few reasons. * The Starbucks baristas are some of the best I've come across... Fast, friendly and they know their way around a paper cup... * They hardly ever sell out of the specialty Target Shops items... If I can't find something at Midtown or Rivergate, I come here and there it is... Just waiting to be picked up... I guess that's not really good for them, but it works for me... * Their pharmacy has some of the nicest workers around... Always available to answer questions about any vitamins or anything health related... I dislike this Target for a couple reasons as well. * It can be really disorganized... Things are mislabeled or in the wrong spots... * If it's slammed, it takes them waaaay too long to open new registers... I've had to put items down and just walk out... Overall, it's still a decent Target... The employees are courteous and they have good sales... It's just not my favorite one... read more

I've yet to go into Target much, so for my first ever foray alone into one I chose this one since I was passing by on my way home. Walking in my impressions were, well it's clean, well lit, the people in the parking lot don't try to run you over. Excellent I like it already! I was looking for some he detergent and softener for my new washer and dryer and they have a huge selection down this whole aisle. Wow I was really lost at all the choices! Checkout is fast and friendly, so I'm happy with my experience here. I'd like it if they offered some organic options for the eco minded but I managed to get what I was looking for and get out in a timely manner and that's what these stores are built to do right? Will I come back? Probably until I can find some place with organic planet friendly laundry cleaning solutions. read more

I love this location, it's always busy but the associates are nice. It's also in a great location, just a quick turn off South Blvd and you are there! What also makes this location great, is that there are so many other stores in the same shopping center. Like Kohl's, Bed Bath and Beyond and Old Navy. But I digress.... This Target is very similar to others, it's clean, offers good selection in clothing as well as other household needs. One of my favorite things about this location is the grocery selection. It offers plenty of frozen and perishable items to chose from and plenty of Market Pantry items which I love!!! Also, the employees here are very friendly, smiles walking in and walking out. This review pertains to the Starbucks located inside and NOT with Target; as I did not have any interaction with the store or their employees, strictly Starbucks. I went in Monday afternoon around 2:30 pm and there was one employee working, Kam. She had two customers in front of me and then two more showed up behind me. Since it was just her, I assumed it would take forever to get a drink but that was not the case. She worked quickly and efficiently but still maintained a smile and conversation. read more

If I could give a -star I would. Staff is extremely RUDE and unpleasant. Right by the front door a worker was making small talk with another co-worker. She had a service dog and my 3 year old was in the shopping cart and said doggy, how cute. The worker left and said, the dog is working and can't knowledge you. How rude. I brushed it off and continued to go do my shopping, said good morning to another employee, he just walked away. WTF is wrong with people?? Not coming to this Target EVER again. Love shopping here. ITS NOT WALMART! The store is clean and their seasonal section has a lot of wonderful items and great prices. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. The grocery section could use a little more variety, but it's not a grocery store. read more

This is the worst target I have ever been to. This is also the first time I've ever been inspired to actually use yelp to leave a review. This store was incredibly sloppy. It looked as if Black Friday was yesterday and they hadn't gotten around to reorganizing the chaos. I normally walk out of target with more than I need, just because I enjoy the environment so much that I end up browsing every department. There were restocking and cleaning carts everywhere it seemed, though no one was actually tending to them. Today I went in search of shoes for my daughter. The entire shoe section was in complete disarray. Toddler shoes were mixed with big kid shoes, winter with spring, boys with girls, and so on. I ended up grabbing what I needed, a pack of diapers, and leaving. To put a cherry on top, my cashier didn't say a single word to me from the moment I walked up to the moment she handed me my receipt. What. A. Joke. read more

Allow me to start by saying that I absolutely love Target. I buy mostly up and up products and frequently shop there. However this location is extremely disappointing. The store is in extreme disarray and the shelves are rarely stocked. If there were a sale on particular items this would be understandable. This was not the case. The baby/toddler clothes department is an absolute wreck. There were clothes all over the floor and sizes randomly placed on racks. An employee was just wandering aimlessly around as if she couldn't find anything to do in the area. I usually spend around $100 a week in Target; however I will not ever at this location. This review is of the eatery upon entering Target. After purchasing the items I had come for from the store I proceeded to the eatery to purchase a cherry slush. When I approached the counter the worker did not say hello to me instead said" Hurry up and purchase something that's quick" stunned I look quizzical at her and she proceeded to say : I have to go on lunch and my manager does not care if I have customers so hurry up." I stated that I wanted a slush and she replied " Well that quick enough." and sat down a cup on the counter. This happened at 2:45pm on 6/30/18. I am a customer and I found the whole exchange disrespectful. As a customer I believe that I deserve a modicum of respect not only as customer but as a human being. BEWARE: this Target closes at 10pm but may decide to close their fitting rooms at 9pm. I was told that it was their policy but i'm not so sure that is the truth. I got to Target at 9pm and had my clothes ready to try on at 9:15 but was told that the fitting rooms closed at 9.....so therefore i did not buy any clothes there tonight. Not particularly smart in terms of profit or customer service. I left feeling that i wasted my time and money by going to this Target. read more

I remember the time when you would walk into a Target and the stores would be pristine; well merchandised and easy to navigate. Every time I visit this Target I'm constantly trying to maneuver around pallets of merchandise and rows upon rows of shopping carts blocking aisles. This morning I tried - in vain - to shop the patio section only to find it crammed with overflowing shopping carts...along with a full staff stocking shelves and returning merchandise to the proper departments. Shouldn't this be done before the store opens??? I do appreciate the friendliness and willingness to help displayed by all the employees, but that doesn't compensate for the sheer displeasure of shopping at this store. Dare I say it?
