I left a couple reviews on their site as requested after I shopped, but both were moderated because they were negative and told of employees it wearing masks, especially as cashiers. A plastic shield does nothing to protect customers from employees who may be infected with the virus. These cashiers both said they just preferred the shields, and were allowed to wear them, even those a cloth mask is required for entry and is mandatory in NC. Amazon has a better selection and has a safer delivery than a cashier who is breathing all over customers items and change. read more

This Kohl's is pretty far out of the way, but there are no Kohl's bear Charlotte anymore. This isn't the nicest Kohl's I've been to. The dressing rooms are usually overflowing with clothes, the lives for checkout are often pretty long, the are often our of stock of items, and racks are often unorganized. In general, I'll continue going to Kohl's because you really can't beat the prices with all of the coupons they give you. I'll continue coming here since it's the most convenient, but it's not the best Kohl's. read more

Zero patience from this woman which made me end up leaving than standing there being treated in such a negative manner. Her words were "I'll help you when you get your stuff together" acting as if pulling up my barcode for her to see for my return was taking up so much of her time. read more

It's actually unfortunate that the "best" you can rate a place is a '5', because our service was definitely above what a '5' typically represents. Service was a "10", all the way... I came in, looking to get some new shoes. As luck would have it, they were out of my size. Reluctantly, I was going to go with a half-size bigger. When I went back to the aisle where the shoes are, I happened to run into Ronald, who was already busy with another task. I asked him to check the stock and he soon returned and told me that he did have one pair. Happily, I went to try these on, only to find out that they were "wide" and not the usual size. We found Ronald helping another customer who quickly gave me his attention. I returned the shoes to him and went back to where my belongings were, and started to leave towards the register with the shoes a half size bigger. On my way there, Ronald caught up with me and suggested that he call another store (if needed same day) or he can place an order for me and have them delivered to my house. I thought that was extremely helpful and kind of him to go out of his way and find me after I left his area. Not only that, but he helped us enter our information in the kiosk (buttons were sticking). He even offered to enter all the information for us as we were struggling to use this (for the first time). All the while, he was telling us that we would retain our savings coupons and how shipping was free. I think the thing that stood out the most was that Ronald was smiling the entire time while helping us. He never complained, never "sighed", never gave us any impression that he rather be somewhere else. He was present and engaged in the conversation the entire time while helping us. It was an incredible experience, as in our home state (moved from Calif two years ago) such treatment of customers is only seen in the most exclusive stores. After leaving, my wife and I continued talking about the great experience and customer service we received at Kohl's. We were most pleasantly surprised. As the cliche goes, Ronald went "above and beyond" any and all expectations. He went out of his way to make us feel like we were the only ones in the store, even though there were plenty of customers already in the store. I hope his manager sees this and gives him a huge raise. :) read more

I have found that I like going here for my denim needs. They can be pricey, but the quality, in my experience, is good. The line to cash out can be tedious sometimes, but that is the nature of the beast. read more

Love this location because it's minutes from home. Selection is usually great and prices are decent. Customer service is pretty good, too. Although today no one offered to assist me. Thankfully, cashiers move the often long lines rather quickly. Our cashier was friendly and kind. The store was neat and clean. Found a few good deals, too, which made the trip even nicer. read more

Long lines for checkout. I asked the jewelry counter associate if she could ring me up since I only had 2 items and she was not busy. She said no, only jewelry purchases. I had a small child with me and was not going to wait in a line of 20 people for 2 items, so we left. Poor customer service and lost a sale and customer. Selection was also very limited for baby sizes. Hardly any clothing in 12 to 24 month sizes. I understand they may be short staffed, but it's the busy holiday season so why not let every cashier help move the line along, regardless of department? Poor store policy. read more

Just be very careful at check out and pay attention to your receipt. When I was checking out recently, I noticed that the total on my receipt was a lot higher than I had expected it to be. So, I asked the cashier to review it with me. There were items on there that I had not purchased. He immediately recognized the error and said those items were left over in his machine from the previous customer's transaction. Hmmmm. Unfortunately he couldn't void the order, so he had to send me to customer service. The customer service department was not certain what happened or how to void out only the items that I did not purchase, so they had to call the store manager. The store manager had to figure out what had happened (by this time, I am completely OVER this entire thing) and was back and forth to the cashier and the register. Somehow about a decade later, they were able to subtract off what I didn't purchase. The store manager gave me a coupon worth $40 in Kohl's cash, which I saved for a later purchase. It was a nice gesture, but in my opinion, the cashier who made the big error should have been reprimanded. I'll never know if that happened, but I do know that I will always pay attention to my receipts in this store from this point forward. read more
