I've become really attached to the clothes they sell here; I think it's safe to say that I'm an Athleta girl now! I do a lot of yoga and other athletic activities, and for me Athleta's apparel works and fits the best into my casual lifestyle. Jessica is fantastic! I joined the Y & desperately needed some workout clothes. Thankfully, Athleta has clothes that look & feel good. The store is so organized & neat. Plenty of fitting rooms. Jessica greeted me as I walked in spent probably a good 30 minutes with me. We picked out items for me to try on, she kept check on me, & brought additional items to me, that she thought I would like. A great shopping trip! read more

UNACCEPTABLE customer service! So let me start off by saying I am a very active person - outside of work, I make sure I exercise 4-5x a week so it's no wonder I would wanna come in this store and shop. I walk in this store, no greeting no "hello welcome to the store" - nothing. Let me just say for the record, I am far from entitled and understand there's a ton of other things going on in a retail store on a Saturday day. However, it stands out when the person at the front greets everyone else who happens not to be black - but me. Now by NO MEANS am I stating that there are racist understones BUT I do feel these behaviors must be addressed. Perception is reality- and if you speak to u must speak to all. This is the nature of the business when you work in a customer service based industry. This is not a store I would return to. read more

This morning I attended the awesome free yoga event at Athleta - South Park. Carolina Yoga of Fort Mill was hosting a event to launch their new location in fort mill. Great was to start a Sunday morning stretch before church and relax. I connected with some yogis and we even made plans to meet at a few of the local breweries for weekday yoga. Athleta is located on the front end of South Park mall near Cheese Cake Factory. They offer great quality in yoga gear, workout gear even casual wear. I went into Athleta on Tuesday, July 9th to exchange a shirt that had a flaw... I didn't have a receipt... A VERY helpful woman working there asked if I had the credit card used to purchase it, looked up my purchase, and said that since they didn't have the same color available she would either (A) refund me or (B) give a deep discount refund so that could go get it repaired. I chose (B)! What amazing service!! I was very grateful and immediately took it to my favorite alterations shop to be fixed. The discount she refunded me MORE than covered it, but definitely made up for the inconvenience! I'm always blown away by how wonderful the staff of this store is. They truly do go out of their way to help their customers and clients! read more

Visited this location on Sunday and had the worst customer service I have ever received in my life. The cashier completely ignored me and then made it clear that she was totally annoyed that she would need to ring up my item. I reached out to the store manager the next day who didn't even bother to ask the name of the cashier and didn't really seem to care about my experience. I emailed the corporate office and took the online survey but days later have still received no feedback. I was offered a coupon for 25 percent off of my next purchase. Why would I return to the store or even shop online if this is how they treat customers? I was in lululemon about 10 minutes before shopping at this store and it was so crammed with people that you could hardly move. I was the only customer in Athlea and I can see why. read more

I absolutely love Athleta... Especially this location. Everyone who works there go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. They not only make sure to meet your needs, but go above and beyond in their service. They genuinely care about their customers and I say that from my personal experience. Dark haired female cashier! You are rude!!! My mother and I were in Athleta last Saturday. The store was not super busy, I kept commenting on how nice the sales people were... especially the woman in the changing room. Then we went up to the register to pay for our items. The woman ringing us up was SO rude and condescending... she seemed very annoyed. My mom wished to purchase some items online since they were out of her size in store. The cashier said "Um, well, did you ask anyone if we have this size?" My mom said "No, but..." my mom was cut off with "Well, obviously, that's what we will do first" eyes rolling, speaking to my mom like she was a child. My mom was asking very simple questions, and each vague answer was given with a clipped tone and air of annoyance. We spent several hundred dollars in Athleta that day, and received the WORST customer service. Athleta South Park, please train your employees to speak to customers in a decent tone and kind manner. Especially when the customers are not causing a scene and just wanting to purchase their items. read more

I never comment about stores, but I'll say this is the first time that I have been in a store and was not treated by the staff as a lost cause. I need to lose weight but they were friendly, sincere, helpful, non-judgemental, and helped me find some cute stuff. Im really happy. I always feel welcome and right at home whenever I'm shopping. Very helpful with finding sizes and ordering things for you.
