I walked closer to the registers where they were located looking at shirts and only then did one of them speak. I never turned around when I responded. Now, Versona isn't a place that I usually go. I have been in one other location. They were extremely helpful and welcoming. They were engaging and wanted my friend and I to have a great experience. Here, they were more concerned with their conversation. They have a major selection of clothing, colors, jewelry and styles. The store is really nice. The clothes are a good quality and for the price, you will really love your items. I highly doubt I will return to this location.

I get the impression that the buying team is focusing on trendier, youth-driven styles, and while that may appeal to a younger crowd, it's a noticeable shift from what the store once offered. I used to work at a full line Nordstrom years ago, so I know quality when I see it. That's why I love the Rack because you can always expect good brands at better prices than you'd find at the full line store. To some people, Nordstrom Rack still feels a little pricey for a discount store, but you really have to compare it to the original full line price tags. I live in the NoDa area, and I will say this location was a bit farther out than I expected, about 25 minutes from my house. I was honestly surprised that there isn't a Nordstrom Rack closer to the city. This one is more on the outskirts, which is fine, but it does make quick trips or exchanges a little less convenient. Yes, you can return items at the full line Nordstrom, but sometimes you just want to browse and see what's new. Parking here was easy, and the store itself was clean and well organized. Coming from Houston and then Florida, I wasn't used to seeing so many coats in stock, so that actually caught my attention. They had a big winter selection, and I ended up leaving with a super cute trench coat, a puffer jacket, and a couple of other cold weather pieces since I know Charlotte winters are going to be colder. The staff was about as friendly as you'd expect at a Nordstrom Rack, but they moved quickly, and the checkout line wasn't long.
