This is a larger J.Crew factory store in the Park Road shopping center. There's plenty of employees always working here and you can always find a park in the shared parking lot.. they have a wide assortment of items and great sales. They also give you coupons if you sign up for emails and text. You can catch good sales. It just depends in varies. Prices are pretty affordable for the average consumer. They have children men's and women's clothing. My only concern an issue with this location is that if you have items sent to the store to do a pick up it comes in a package with your name on it and they open your mail or package. One of the nicest clothing stores in town. This one is located in one of the most popular shopping centers in town: Park Road Shopping Center. It's centrally located with an ample free parking lot. Clothing options are limited, but my wife and I usually find a nice piece to update our wardrobe. Staff is friendly, helpful and professional. 100% recommended. read more

A little fun fact: I had the pleasure of working at this location back in the spring of 2019. I was only able to work about a month before I realized my schedule was way too hectic to add on another job into my life. Either way, I still pop in from time to time. I love their clearance section and always make a beeline to that section when I visit. They always have a great collection of clothing and are always seasonal. The only thing I can never get right with them though are their jeans. For some reason, their jeans just don't fit right. Other than that, everything else is always great! Their sizing does run big, so I always end up buying a size down on anything I buy. The employees are always super friendly and knowledgeable. They are always having discount sales and more if you have a J. Crew card. I definitely prefer this location over the one in Southpark. They have a LOT more variety. This is located in Park Road Shopping Center with ample parking. read more

J. Crew Factory was once a great clothing store. Then in 2023 they moved to this new "Comparable Value" pricing model. Here is a great example of how ridiculous it is. The 6'' lined tech dock short at regular J. Crew (not a factory item, so a noticeably higher quality material and construction) is priced at $79.50. At J. Crew Factory the 6" tech dock short which is similar product to the J. Crew version, but lacking the zippered third front pocket and lacking zippered back pockets is listed at Comparable Value of $79.50. I can agree the product is comparable but definitely not exact. Yet the list price is exactly the same. Less product, same high price. Here's another example. The Slim Thompson suit used to be $300 sold as separates. The jacket was consistently $198 and the pants $98. And often times as common with J. Crew Factory some percentage off that. Now that same suit is listed as Comparable Value, jacket at $498 and pants at $298. So the $300 suit in January of 2023 is $800 in August of 2023. What's more, the pricing between the website and the brick and mortar store are no longer aligned. The 7" khaki short in Rose Blush was listed online as Comparable Value $69.50 and on sale for $19.50. In store the 7" khaki short in Rose Blush was Comparable Value $69.50 and on sale for $29.50. Okay, so I'll do the workaround and get my phone out of my pocket buy the shorts online and select pick-up in store and save $10. Nope. Online says not in stock in store. But I'm holding them in my hands right now. J. Crew Factory has turned into some sort of pricing shell game and we're not supposed to notice and also be excited that there are percentage off signs everywhere. The problem is, the percentage off the new Comparable Value price is still 20% higher than before they started this Comparable Value nonsense. I will not shop here again until they adjust back to transparent pricing. read more

I had a good experience here the other day. I went around 4pm and it was more people in the store than I thought. I was greeted as I walked in and when I was looking at some items in one section of the store. I attempted to get a size 12 under a stack of pants. While I was doing this, an associate offered assistance which made it easier. I then took my 4 items to the dressing room. There was one open with some clothing items still it. The associate removed the clothing and allowed me to enter. The store is very clean and neat. The shirts and other items stacked up remained organized even though they had been open for several hours. I saw about three associates constantly folding and stacking while I was in there. The dressing room area was clean but a little noisy only because there were so many people. Although I didn't purchase anything this go around I have done so on many occasions and will return to make future purchases. read more

I am definitely a fan of J. Crew in Southpark Mall so I was definitely excited to hear about the J.Crew Mercantile store coming to Park Road Shopping Center. Knowing 'Mercantile' was their outlet brand I was even more excited, different options than the store and great deals, that I have seen at other J. Crew outlet stores. I have now been a few times and will admit I have never left without buying something. Customer service is on point. From the minute you arrive to your check out someone in there to assist, with a smile on their face. They all seem to really like their jobs. From a shopping perspective, they offer a wide variety of items, women's, men's, kids, shoes, jewelry, etc. So, like I said, if you can get out of there without buying something I am jealous. I will admit I also love the fact it is in a shopping center. You can grab lunch, run an errand or two and shop without dealing with the mall and the mall traffic, and yes, it can be worse than Park Road Shopping Center parking, ha ha! J. Crew's newest concept is finally open in the Park Road Shopping Center! What can you expect? Pretty much the same thing you'd find in a J. Crew Factory Store to be honest. That's right, it's really not much unlike their regular retail outlet. The fixtures, layout, merchandise, and pricing are all exactly the same. The only difference is that it rests in a strip center instead of an outlet mall. I made my way in on opening day to find the place clean and inviting with a friendly staff. It was easy to make my way through, as the store is well laid out. I asked the sales associate checking me out what the difference was between Mercantile and factory and she pretty much confirmed that there really isn't any. She did say that, at times, they carry Mercantile only items. Oddly enough, they had no such items for their grand opening. She went on to say that when they do have said items, the difference is minimal. I'm a J. Crew fan anyhow, so, although not quite what I expected given all the hype, it's a decent store. read more

I live near by so I'm here more than most other stores. The parking lot can get hectic on Sat due to the brunch crowd so you may have to walk a little. They almost always have some sort of promo running. Staff is friendly and theres never more than 1 or 2 people in line to check out. read more

The store is clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the associates that I interacted with during my visit were quite rude. For lack of a better word, he was very judgmental and actually laughed when I asked him a sizing question. I had several things I wanted to buy for my husband and son, but couldn't get past the service or lack thereof, and attitude of the employee. read more

My husband and I had the best experience here today! We were greeted when we walked in . The guy working in the men's department was so helpful and informative. I wish we had asked for his name but he was extremely helpful! Chad at the checkout was what made us absolutely come back again! I don't usually wear classic/preppy style clothes, but I went in with my mom and found the cutest dress and romper! The dress fits perfectly and is very flattering. They happened to be having really good sales, and I got the originally $80 romper for $15, and the $80 dress for $40! Their clothing is well made and they have a lot of classic items that don't go out of style, so that makes price worth it. The lady that helped me was very nice, as well as the guy at checkout. read more
