Now for some reason my size (size 6) is usually very limited whenever I go and find a shoe I actually like but they can order it for you online and have it shipped completely free to your home. They have lots of options for kids and women as well. I didn't venture too much to the men's side, but from what I saw, they had a decent selection for them. The employees are super friendly and helpful. They are located in a shopping center with a Harris Teeter directly in front of them. They have a big open parking lot so PLENTY of parking spaces to choose from. Definitely recommend coming to this location. It's super close from my home, and they have a wide variety of things, including socks.

Today, I went to the East Blvd CRC location planning to get another temporary fix to hold me off for a vacation before ultimately buying a custom insert, but I left with solutions! I worked with Armani and he was AMAZING. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and determined to solve my problems. After over an hour of listening, studying my issues, and trying out options, we found 2 great shoes that gave me instant relief. 10/10 recommend this shop and working with Armani if he's around! It felt like he was watching out to see if I stole anything and he kept asking if I needed help after I constantly told him no. I would catch glimpse of him looking/staring at me and after working the whole day and just trying to get some new boots it doesn't feel good to be watched as if I'm about to steal or do something wrong it was just really irritating and I felt like it was only him because the other staff were real nice and respectful. And I've seen other people have also experienced this and I just think they should've trained that guy better or just have a talk with him.

I have found that it always leads me in a good direction. They've also gotten me hooked me on other products over the years, like Balega socks and Currex insoles. I now wear both of these to work daily. This was the first time I'd visited this Providence Road store, and I was not disappointed. The staff was terrific, and I was personally helped by Natalie, who was excellent. She was knowledgeable about the product, and her suggestions were spot on. I ultimately ended up buying two pairs of shoes (New Balance 880s and Brooks Ghost Max for work and walking and a pair of sunglasses for when I walk. The only unfortunate thing was that I walked out with just the sunglasses and had to order the shoes via their website to get a color I liked. This is the only drawbacks that I have found shopping with them--either I have to settle on color or order the color that I really want. Overall, a very small grievance in the grand scheme of the larger experience. I hope that the stores will stock more colors in the future. One thing I love about Fleet Feet is their rewards program. Anybody who buys good running shoes knows they are not cheap, even if they are worth it. The good thing about Fleet Feet is that they give you rewards certificates for future purchases. So even though I spent a pretty decent amount today, I got about 10% of that back in store reward certificates for future purchases. This is always a great company to shop regardless of location. Highly recommend them.

I had a few things i needed to return. I had the JCP receipt/invoice. On the invoice it said I can…read morereturn in store or by mail anytime anywhere. I went to customer service to return and one item went through just fine but for some reason they were having trouble processing the other item. What irritated me was she the lady at the desk tried to process it once and pushed my item to the side and said she can't return it. She didn't even give me an explanation. I asked her why and she said she couldn't find the item. I showed her my invoice that showed all the info and she was still having trouble. She made it seem like that was it. I asked if there was a manager she could ask and she finally did. It was annoying because this whole process took 15 minutes! And she kept using different computers back and forth and they didn't have a merchandise credit card for my store credit at the desk. She had to call someone to bring it to her. The manager finally came and fixed the issue but this was such a hassle. Super unorganized. I would have no desire to come back to this store ever.

We were at the mall this weekend and happened to stop by JCPenney to check out mattresses. After…read moregoing to a mattress store last month and going through the annoyances with a salesman hounding and hassling you, I can say shopping at a department store is much nicer! We had a sales staff member come up and ask us if we had any questions or needed any help, but also explained how the layout was - firm beds on one side, medium in the middle, and plush on the other side, with some beds set up where they are split with both types. After that she let us be (much appreciated) and we just played like Goldilocks going from one bed to the next and back and forth to determine with ones we liked. We determined a couple top contenders with our favorite and decided to leave to do some research. Upon coming home to do research, I was shocked to see how over priced JCP was. JCP had the bed we were looking for on sale for $1800 in store, but then had it on even bigger discount at $1100 online. Why not advertise that price in store? Then I saw that a number of stores including Macy's, a mattress store, and Costco, all sold this same exact bed for $500-$700, so all these stores were within a reasonable range of one another except for JCP. Why? I didn't bother to go back or contact JCP online to see about price matching and instead ordered from Costco. JCP might want to start thinking about being in line with other stores and being more reasonable, or they will be on their way out like Sears.
