Poor customer service! They don't value their customers and their return policy is not great at all!

This review is overdue. I have frequented this store for years probably since 2019. They're one of my favorite shoe stores. This review is for my Saturday, 01-14-23 visit. I've found some great, high end shoes and boots at very reasonable prices, to include brands like Jessica Simpson, Nine West, Steve Madden, & Badgley Mischka. The staff is always friendly. I'm resisting the urge to go there right now. read more

Just left the store. The owners need to know that I was never greeted by anyone the entire 20 mins I was in the store. One girl walked in with a target bag while I was looking at clothes and put the bag behind the sales counter and never said a word to me. While I was looking at the shoes the same girl walked out looked at me and retrieved her target bag and went back through the double doors in the back of the store. I was completely alone in the store while I looked around. Sadly there was a dress I was interested in but since nobody was working a sale couldn't be made. This was on 2/24 at appx 2:00. read more

Today made the 3rd time going into Marti & Liz. They play Christian music in the background but each time I've entered the store, I'm NEVER greeted!!! I am a Black female and I've noticed they greet White customers as soon as they walk through the door. I've made 3 attempts to see if it was just me, but after the 3rd time, I'm convinced it's NOT!!!! I will never return and I will let my customers know as I too am a business owner... read more

This is a nice little shoe shop. I believe the shoes are second hand but in good shape. Kind of like the clearance rack at a department store. When you walk in it's like a cute clothing boutique. They have few accessories and I see a small display of wedding shoes. I hear this store is new so it's all organized and it's got that "new" smell to it. There are dressing rooms and a small waiting spot in front (hint hint... Men). Check it out if you're in the area. There's a Target and Kirklands next door. read more

The good: the store is pretty when you walk in and they have nice displays. They have a large shoe selection. The bad: the customer service is not great and not consistent. The salespeople act like they are doing you a favor by answering your question. You have to search them out to get a dressing room and lastly, the shoe sizes are not prominently displayed so you can tell when a size starts and ends. Prices on the designer shoes are average, I can better deals from Rue La La and Hautelook and they are brand new. The less expensive shoes are a much better deal. I drove over 40 minutes after work during a gas crisis to find new shoes and I was 15 minutes past closing time because the hours were different than online. I love shopping here and I was so excited to go and find some new shoes but I realized they never took the time to change their store hours online like so many other businesses have taken the chance to do. read more

I walked in and ended up leaving before making my purchase. Cashiers not wearing masks, manager not wearing a mask and several shoppers not wearing masks either. I have shopped here for years and have recommended this shop countless times to people that ask me where I buy all of my cute shoes. Not anymore. I will spend my money in establishments that follow the governors orders and adhere to CDC guidelines. I wear a mask to keep others safe and I will only shop on places that consider my safety as well. read more

I purchased clothes at Marti & Liz as a Christmas gift. They were not a good fit for the recipient. The tags still on the clothes and they refused to let us return or even exchange them. We went a second time and got the same answer. When I requested management the girls working at the counter said the manager was out of town. I won't be back. read more

A little pricey but the CUTEST things! Just make sure you try it on first because there are no returns.

These people are so difficult to deal with. I have been trying to exchange a pair of shorts ( their return policy is below the counter in small print ) so I know exchange is the only option. When I exchanged something for these shorts, they kept my receipt and so now the clerk says she can't help me because of no receipt, I would have to speak to the mgr. except he/she is NEVER there. I would give these shorts away but they were $30.00. the tag is still on, and in one of their bags, so obviously the are not stolen. shop at your own risk. I URGE NO ONE OF COLOR TO EVER SHOP HERE! Felt very discriminated against here. I will never go back. There were 3 sales women in the store and about 5 customers. ALL THREE saleswomen stopped what they were doing and came to my aid before I was even in the store good. I wanted to return a pair of shoes, had my receipt and was within the return window. I will never understand why but it toll ALL THREE saleswomen to assist in my return. ALL THREE asked me so many questions about the return, the purchase, the shoes and everything else. They were ALL THREE spouting out questions! I didn't know who, or what question to answer. I bought them for my mom but they were too big, I told them the issue was they were too big and they requested that I try them on in front of them. WHAT?!?!? Meanwhile, the other customers in the store needed assistance but again, ALL THREE saleswomen ignored the other shoppers to continue to give me a hard time. In the end, they refused the return. I called to speak with a manager for about a week or so. When I finally got connected with a manager she refused the return bc it was 2 DAYS past the return date! I sat in the parking lot and cried after this bc I felt so discriminated against. Again, I urge no one of color to EVER shop here. read more

Horrible Customer Service in My opinion the staff at this establishment are very prejudice. I'm an African American woman and I was excited to visit the store as I had heard good things about it but My experience wasn't as I expected. There were 3 staff members at the counter when I entered and not one of them greeted Me but everytime I looked around I felt as if I was under a microscope. Not an enjoyable experience. read more

This shoe store has the BEST styles and prices in the area. No shoe store in Charlotte offers the variety of designer shoes at these prices.

Best shoe store in south Charlotte. The shoes come in from department store returns, warehouses, and shoes that have been used in promotional materials (like on a runway or photo shoot). They have new arrivals all the time and an extensive selection of all sizes and brands- from Rampage to Steve Madden, Lucky, Jack Rogers, Tory Burch, Ferragamo, and so on. Their prices cannot be beat. There are dress shoes for men on the far wall as well. It's important to know though, they will only accept returns for store credit or exchange. read more

Terrible service!!! I make a yelp account for this!! Wouldn't go back there again !! Although their cloth and jewerly are so pretty. I went there on May, 22 about 6.30pm. A young long hair lady at cashier was rude and acted like she is doing me a favor when I asked her. There was no customer at a store and she wasn't busy at all. No greeting, No helping.
