This is a chain store in a unique location. Most of the stores and businesses in the area are closing but this store is solid. I like that this store will have things that the other locations don't due to high demand. It's like a hidden gem target. It's popular and like most they could always hire more people. It took 15mins for someone to open up this case so that I could purchase a moisturizer! Target if you are going to cage up your products then you have to fully staff your stores. Then once I made it up to the front I had to wait another 5mins for someone to replace the paper so that I can get my receipt! read more

Been to this Target only once now but it was a pleasant visit. Store is very large, clean, and spreadout inside. Nice wide aisles so you're not bumping into other carts or merchandise. Typical Target with a wide selection of merchandise, attractively presented and priced, with options galore. They seemed to have loads of staff on the floor to answer questions and keep everything organized. Checkout was seamless. We liked this outlet. read more

Dear Target Corporate. Do better. Stop locking up random items like socks and underwear. If you were going lock up anything, wouldn't it be the more expensive items that are currently unsecured. I refuse to buy items that are locked up. I'll gladly take my business elsewhere. 1. You can't browse the selection. 2. You don't pay your employees well enough to keep them so there is no one to open these cases. Locking things up is not the best theft deterrent anyway. People will just steal something else. I come to this location often - it's close to my house. I usually wouldnt shop much at target because the price compared to other stores wasn't the most affordable however they have different brands and selections here of very good taste so I would end up here every now and again. Until a cashier one day before Christmas told me to apply for the red card - now I knew I couldn't get the credit card right now but he told me to apply to the debit and I'd get a $40 coupon! I now have the red card - debit- since when I go shopping (even if once in a while) I get to have 5% cash back and also access to more deals.... I am a big fan of the drive up pick up. Well now I shop at target pretty often... the deals end up matching the prices with the other stores AND I get to buy the cutest and most beautiful, tasteful decor items and more on a budget. read more

This isn't my go to Target as I live in Gaston county. I visited this one after searching for an item online and saw that it was available at this location. After visiting other stores in the area, I decided to go here as my last stop. The store was a typical Target. Some shelves were well stocked but a lot of shelves were empty. I am guessing or will give them the benefit of the doubt that its due to Covid. As I decided to checkout with my shirt and new pair of shoes, but the self checkout line was like 14 people deep. They only had two lanes open other than self checkout which I thought was odd since it was a Saturday afternoon. My checkout went smooth and I left satisfied. read more

One of my favorite discoveries of the pandemic is how awesome Target's curbside pickup is. We're fully vaccinated now, but I still use it because it's more convenient than going inside and doing my own grocery shopping. I really like that they have no minimum order and you don't have to select a pickup time. You just order and your groceries are ready within 2 hours. You have until the end of the next day to pick them up. This isn't our normal Target, but we stop here sometimes when we're out running errands. I'm not a big fan of this shopping center because it's a little hectic, but I've never had an issue with the curbside pickup. read more

Who doesn't love Target?? Sometimes I wish I could get a part time job there. Who am I kidding, I've actually tried! Target has everything you could possibly need and everything in between. Be sure to check their ADs before you go shopping so you can score all the good deals. I love walking into the store and scoping out their dollar spot. You can find all sorts of great items from $1-$5 right up front when you walk in. I purchase all of my cat and dog food at Target and sometimes I stock up on groceries. They have a great seasonal department no matter the holiday . Great back to school sales and large summer patio furniture to choose from in the summer. I love Target and can't wait to shop there again. There's a Starbucks up front if you need a little caffeine boost to get your shopping sesh going. The staff is great and very helpful when you have questions. read more

This had to be one of the worst shopping experiences ever. I was informed by a friend about the college 20% circle coupon. I went through all the verification steps and made sure I was approved before using it. All was good. My son and I picked items. When I went to pay the cashier said to just put my phone number in and it would take the 20% off automatically. Well after looking at my receipt it did not. So I went to customer service to see about fixing it, first of all the two employees standing there talking did not want to be bothered. I had to say can I get some help and one is like what do you want. I explained what happened, she said to the other can we use a gift card, then a manager passed by, she asked the manager if she could use a gift card, the manager said no. Then she huffed and puffed and was like take your stuff out of the bags, she had to return our items and re ring them up. All while sighing and grunting. I had to un bag and rebag all my stuff. I never raised my voice, didn't get mad, but I'll tell you what I won't be shopping here again and I will leave a review where I can to alert others to the treatment they may receive when shopping here. read more

Now my Target of choice. Er, more like no choice? I really miss my Northlake Target... The area around here isn't horrible but it's certainly a bit sketchy. This Target has a large food section with quality better than Walmart. Plus all the other departments you've come to expect from Target. Anything you could need in one spot. It beats going to the Midtown/Metropolitan Target any day though. I'd trade that for the uneasy feeling of leaving my car in the parking lot since it's really the only thing I don't like about here. read more

Best of all, there were more workers checking people out versus self-checkout. Horrible customer service. No carts in the store. No cashiers. 3 self-check outs with lines backed down the aisles. Attendant was frustrated with corporate not listening to customers and customers complaining all day. Lousy experience all around. This Target is off my list of stores that get my business. Can only assume that this is true of other locations as it appears they no longer have use for employees. It is not that they can't find help - according to their own employees, the don't want to hire. Automation is cheaper. read more

This review is specifically for Drive Up orders. Although there is a SUPER target close to my house I will take the drive to S. Blvd regular Target as they always have the items I need in stock! I've never had to wait longer than 5 mins to get my groceries brought out to me in the drive up, they place it in the exact location I requested for it to be in the app, and nothing is ever missing! Very much a contactless quick process. My only issue/request: the workers should be trained that for cars that have automatic trunk closing capabilities they should either use the buttons to close the trunk or let the driver of vehicle close it. When you try to force it close it not only takes forever but it also can mess up the calibration in the future. read more

I love Target, what can I say. This is not my go to location, but I stop here when I'm running errands in the area. I do prefer my other location as it seems to have a better selection of items, but this one is usually clean and mostly organized and the employees are always friendly enough. Again, as I stated above, I do prefer my other location as it has a great food selection and seems to have more clothes and other options. This location is A-OK for what I've needed it for while I'm running errands in the area, and I don't feel like making an extra stop on my way home. read more

We went to target this morning to pick up a birthday gift at order pick up and some wrapping paper. Just a quick trip. The customer service we experienced, while they were understaffed even, was phenomenal! I have not had this experience at any other target. I had multiple employees greet and help me, as well as go out of their way for us on just a quick trip! It's the closest to my house, however I will drive the extra miles to a better one. This was the first Target I visited after my move to Charlotte...I stay away from this location by any means necessary. They were out of so many items...their shelves were messy if there was product on it. So disappointing. I'm a loyal Target goer, trust me. But this one needs some help. It's sad when the cashier says she only works at this one because the other one close to her house wasn't hiring! This is my local target, so I've been here 100 times. I'm giving it three stars only because the staff is great. I've never had an issue there, they are always very accommodating and friendly. ***However this store is an absolute MESS. And of course it's aggravating when you can barely find anything and you see employees standing around upfront. I'm not exaggerating -- the boys clothing section is literal piles of clothes on shelves and on the floor. I don't think I've been in there once where it was actually shoppable and folded. read more

I emailed customer service for this Target location because after reviewing my receipt some of my in store coupons didn't come off my purchase after using the Target App. Chandra was incredibly helpful and polite. Worst pharmacy on the planet. The pharmacist lied on two separate occasions when I tried to transfer prescriptions to another stores. Multiple phone calls later between two stores they were still lying. Rami Tatl is the manager and should be ashamed of the rude behavior exhibited by the pharmacist. Never choose this pharmacy. I like that theres tons of stuff in this shopping plaza. Ross and DSW to name a few. I don't like that it gives off a really ghetto vibe. I.e. rude customers everywhere. Next time I need to go to target I would probably opt for the one on Tryon or in Ballanytyne. read more

In the Carolina Pavilion Shopping Center, where South Boulevard meets I-485, this large Target has been an anchor for quite a while. It's not a "Super" Target, meaning that it doesn't have a full grocery section. They do have some food items, just not enough for a full shop. But otherwise, this is a full Tarzhay with clothing, electronics, personal care, automotive, housewares and such. Staff is pretty good. I've yet to have a "dud" shopping cart. All told, a decent shopping experience. read more

I love Target! I don't stop by this one very often, but if I need to go here, I don't mind. It's in a great shopping center. The store is clean (even the bathrooms). If you need to take public transportation, it's conveniently located across the street from the light rail. read more

This Target is super convenient while shopping in the Carolina Pavilion shopping center. The store is kept clean and the layout is similar to most Targets so it can be an in-and-out trip or a long leisurely shopping stop. Tip: Watch out when crossing the street to get in... some crazy teenagers zooming through the parking lot to catch a movie at AMC may be lurking. Okay - maybe it's just me but I've had too many "close calls" with people driving through. The fact that there are speed bumps here make it more amazing to me! read more

The Target location here is a good, "meh." When I think of Target, I want to walk in and say, yes! I will get something. Location - easily off South Blvd, the tricky part? The immense people who also goes to Target, and the drive in the parking lot was a bit of an annoyance. Place - The Target here is a bit smaller, than what I am used to. It is a bit disorganized in some place, but overall, has the all the items, but not as much clothes selection in the women department. If you want to get some certain essentials, this Target will have it. If you just want to browse, and hopefully maybe do some damage, this place was not for me. Overall, it is nice to have a Target that has other stores in the vicinity...Wolrd Market, DSW, Old Navy, Nordstrom Rack, Golfsmith, Sears, and Michaels. read more

I wanted to preface my review by saying not all Targets are created equally and the one on South Blvd proves that. From the onset, you'll find it difficult to find a decent parking space and the parking spaces are very close together, so I usually park further away from the store, which is a hassle. When you enter, you'll see it's your typical run of mill Target but what makes the difference is the atmosphere. What do you mean Anthony? Well, the atmosphere is a little gloomy and maybe it's the lighting but I being here doesn't exude the need to stay long. Also, I noticed that the cleanliness of the store can be suspect sometimes and if that's the case I might as well go to Wal-Mart! The associates typically seem to be in a rush to get their jobs done and have little time for customer interactions, such as assisting customers, saying hello or other minute details that make you feel welcome. The selection here is very typical of other Targets but I guess when the shelves are messy, you really don't have the energy to search and search for something as simple as pet care products. In closing, you can skip this Target unless you're in the area and need a few items, otherwise it's best to wait. This is my personal opinion and well others may feel differently.
