Who doesn't love coming to Target, they have so much to offer and everything you need for the holidays. Came in for some Christmas pajamas and they were out of the size I needed. But, I can't blame Target because I know everyone and their mother are shopping for Christmas pajamas. There are lots of us who shop for Christmas pajamas to create those everlasting memories of the holidays. I had the same idea. Got lucky and found pajama pants in the pattern I needed, wheeew. Got them at a great price too, I wish they were on sale though because who doesn't love a sale, right? Women restocking the go backs was very helpful in trying to help me find the size I needed. I placed an order online for pickup. It was all grocery items. I received 3 emails stating my order was ready to pick up. It was divided up into 3 parts. Don't know why. Nothing was marked as unavailable. I got to the store, parked in a pickup spot and used the app to let them know I was there. No one came, and then I suddenly got 3 more emails saying that every item was cancelled. Went inside to ask what happened, and pretty much got a shoulder shrug, and was told that they didn't know why, but the person that shopped the order cancelled it. A couple of "Customer Service" people were standing close and heard. All they did was laugh. Zero help and if I could give zero stars, I would. I walked next door to Harris Teeter and shopped for what I needed. Shopping on line to try and save time and money with Target was a complete waste. read more

I love Target but it gets pretty frustrating when there are only two cash registers open and only 4 self checkouts first thing in the morning. It makes it harder to achieve to get in and get out goal, especially for a mom. Other than that, this Target is always fully stocked and they have a STARBUCKS. read more

Last year was the start of Target's crumbling supply chain with China's manufacturers. That's what I think anyways bc shelves here and there look as tho they're from back stock supplies. One of my favorite discoveries of the pandemic is how awesome Target's curbside pickup is. We're fully vaccinated now, but I still use it because it's more convenient than going inside and doing my own grocery shopping. I really like that they have no minimum order and you don't have to select a pickup time. You just order and your groceries are ready within 2 hours. You have until the end of the next day to pick them up. This isn't our normal Target, but we stop here sometimes when we're out running errands. This is a nice target located in a sheer's shopping center at Stonecrest. The staff are welcoming and friendly, but it can be a bit crowded at times. And there are limited staff available depending upon the time you come. They have a variety of items to meet your needs home goods personal care food etc. like most targets they have a pick up option or you can pick it up in store or drive up to pick up. The store is well lit and clean. If you use the app you receive a discount towards your next purchase in your wallet. They also have coupons you can clip. Happy shopping. read more

I get the feeling that there's something different about this Target compared to others. I mean, yeah it has all the usual stuff you'd find in a Target. Clothes, housewares, books, magazines, electronics, toys, sporting stuff, a seasonal section, food essentials and a pharmacy with hygiene and medicine needs. But I felt like certain areas had a sort of "specialty zone" within them. The housewares always seems to have this so I'm used to it. But I noticed a section in the hygiene area with nicer floors and different color themes to the displays. It made it feel more homely and interesting. I'll echo the sentiments of previous reviewers that staff seems few and far between here. They simply don't have the employees to match the number of visitors. Lines at check out can often get long and lead to a lot of time wasted just waiting. Lately their bathrooms have been sealed off like a radioactive waste site - not entirely sure what's going on there. At least they have a very nice trailer parked outside as an alternative restroom facility and it's very nice. Like with any Target trip, you know you're going to come in here for one or two house supplies and come out with a cartload of random crap you had no idea you needed until this moment. read more

My normal Target is in Steele Creek - which I love, as they always seem to be stocked or if not, it is easy to check in with a clerk who will go to the back and get items for you if they are not out displayed. Unfortunately, my Target was out of stock of a couple items that this Target said was in stock (could not be ordered for delivery or pick up). So I took the time to drive out to this Target. I could not find the items and went to customer service to check to see if they had the items that I said were showing in stock online. She said they were not in stock. To this day, it is still showing stock online. So there is obviously something wrong with this store and their ability to keep track of what is actually available and what is not. Nor does it seem like the employees care that I show them that it is showing in stock online but you guys don't have it and it is still not fixed online to this date (5 days later). I still was able to get a couple other things I needed, but I am glad that this is not my go to Target. Just looking through their stuff this weekend, their shelving and stocking is not kept up as many areas were depleted with stock, messy, and unorganized. read more

I generally shop at Wal-Mart when I need stuff. But I've started to notice that the stores just aren't as nice as they used to be. And they certainly aren't as nice when you're not in the Bentonville area. So here in Charlotte, I've been sampling the area Target stores and I'm pleased. This shop is well lit and very clean. Smooth tiling, the carts are plentiful at the door and the one I took didn't have that one whacky wheel. Very wide aisles make it a very pleasant shopping experience. Most Targets are laid out about the same and this one was no different. The personal care and cosmetic sections are well shelved and stocked and prices are very easy to find. Clothing, home, office, auto, sports, furnishings, bedroom, bathroom, all just fab! Perhaps a little more expensive than Wal-Mart prices, but I think the difference is worth it for a better shopping experience. One of my favorite things that they do at Target is that the associates (do they call them that?) all have a walkie-talkie. So instead of the incessant mumbled overhead pages at some stores ("Manager to the front!"), it makes for a much more pleasant experience. This target is constantly out of everything, especially in grocery. I thought maybe it was a Covid stock issue, but when I go to Matthew's location it isn't like that at all. Not sure what the problem with this location is but it's not worth even trying to come here anymore. I don't know how it still operates. There's nothing to buy for over two years now. read more

From the customer service alone - I do not look forward to this Target but I have hopes once I get a chance to talk to the GM - then all will be well. Otherwise, due to the tragic inconsistent "policies" that the lady at the counter tried to enforce tonight - I will gladly pay off this card and close the account. Here are the lies I was told: 1) Target Cartwheel can't be applied to a pick up order, 2) Cartwheel can be applied (to a pick up order) but we'll need to return it all and buy it back. 3) Oh! You can't get the price that you paid when you bought it online. Our prices and the online prices may be different, 4) Oh you'll have to get it all back on a giftcard, 5) Ummm, I'll only be able to apply Target Cartwheel to items you bought in store and have a receipt (DON'T MIND THE FACT THIS NEGATES #1&2), 6) After applying Cartwheel to the receipt, in store purchased items, then we get to C9 active wear bought the same night same register, same card and da dahhh dunnnnnnnn....please hear the music. It's 1am and I need to go to sleep but I had to write this.... Oh you can't use the Cartwheel for this because it just started today. Of course, I asked ..... why would there be two separate policies for the same Target coupon app? You didn't mention that when you applied the Cartwheel to the other items on Receipt A. 7) She restates #6. I'm gracious. I thanked her. I'll handle this with people who under cost-benefit analysis, customer satisfaction, APR's, loyalty and how the missed coupon process could have easily been utilized; returned my $27 total of missed coupons and would have easily watched me buy more. Instead, I left Target and ran errands while thinking I'll pay this off tonight and close the account. But good sense says, talk to a few Managers then use that as the true bargaining chip and then pay it off and close out this account. By the way, this lady ahead of me returned $4 pillow. Beware! Pineville South Blvd location a lady returned bread/buns. Reallllly BEWARE!! I dropped this from 2 stars to 1 stars. Yeah, I'm not livid. I'm sorely disappointed. At this price point, the way they try to "distinguish" themselves - I'm not paying for poor service akin to McDonald's or WalMart (which I accepted some time ago - I'm not Walmarts target market) but for this.... I ordered a container of cherry tomatoes. When I got home the bag that the tomatoes were in was wet as if it were holding water. I reached in and pulled out the container of tomatoes and saw that they were so old and rancid that they had turned to a mushy tomato juice and were dripping liquid onto my kitchen floor. I haven't been to this target in years. So much had begun built around it its crazy. I walked in and noticed that they were a bit busy. Lines weren't too long so I could expect a speedy checkout. The aisle were wide and appeared to be pretty clean and stocked. There were employees buzzing around so im sure I could have had any question answered if I needed. I decided to use the self checkout. I can't believe I haven't done a review yet. Overall, I do like this store but their inventory is very inaccurate when looking online for what's actually available at the store. Their produce/groceries are always hit or miss. They are always changing the layout of their store too so it's very confusing. Most of the times in the mornings, it's hard getting in an aisle because it's packed with boxes/inventory. But I will still come here because it's the closet target to me. read more

This is the location that I come to the most, and I've never had an issue. I'm surprised to see the poor reviews for the employees. The store is set up in a clockwise fashion, you come in on the left and move clockwise around the store. This is a little backwards from the other stores that I've been to, but I don't mind. Everything is usually where you expect it, the store is clean and things are easy to find. Employees can be hard to find, but I haven't ever really needed one. They have a good selection of craft beers and necessity groceries, a full pharmacy, and a Starbucks. They recently upgraded the beer section, so it's a larger aisle and I assume that they have more products. There are a few self serve check outs, but they have those cameras on them! I can't stop watching myself check out groceries. haha. Like a Target Trainwreck. OK, I'm an Icee addict and this is one of the few places I can go for a fix in the Ballantyne area. (Marathon Gas on JJDelaney has them too, but their machines are hit-and-miss.) I know, it's a hassle getting in and out of the StoneCrest parking lot; but, what are you going to do? I'm a middle-aged Slurpee fan. (If you don't know what that, a Slurpee, is, you're likely under 40 and have never been to an 7-11). I frequently slip by on the sly for a cherry / coke blend. We get most of our prescriptions filled there too and I've always found the Rx Staff to be very nice, if not a bit overworked. It's not unusual for somewhat of a wait, which I've always wondered whether that is an intentional marketing technique. I somehow end up buying something I don't need from the home & garden center. Wish they had an automated blood pressure machine nearby, as that's always fun and a good way to burn some time. Nice staff. They have a LOT of checkouts; but, at times it would help to open up more of them to speed up the process. Decent place also for the back-to-school items. GREAT place to go if you have to buy an 8yr old boy a present, especially ones whom dig baseball or PokeMon cards. . .or whatever is popular now. (Ask your kid, they'll know). I went to Target at Stonecrest tonight to buy a belt. But I ended up finding some other items I needed and spent about $120. When I was trying to check out the first line I got in the clerk had some issue with the cash register from the customer in front of me so I waited for about a minute and saw the issue was not going to be resolved anytime soon so I went to another register and the clerk there was scanning... items... so... slow... it... was... painful... and I was third in line. So I moved to a another register. No one else in line. (Yea!) I greeted the clerk and addressed him by name. We will call him Bob (not his real name) Bob completely ignored me until he finally got ready to start scanning my items. And just to be clear, it was a good 10 seconds before he said anything to me. And then he said something like "hello" I don't remember exactly but it was very brief but friendly. The belt I came in for originally would not scan. A message came up on the register that said "enter price" so "Bob" asked me if I knew the price. I had no idea because there was no price sticker on the belt. He got ready to call a price check and I told him to forget it. I'm not going to stand there and wait. So Target, you lost a sale because of incompetence. (Incompetence NOT from Bob but from Target's inefficiencies) Actually you lost more than one sale. Because I would have bought more seven dollar T-shirts had I known that they only cost seven dollars but I didn't know that because there was no price on them. I asked a very friendly clerk back in the men's department how much they cost and they could not tell me. They told me (in a very friendly manner) I could "scan them at one of the price scanners which are conveniently located throughout the store." So a brief segue... I visit Target about twice a year. I know you have "conveniently located price scanners." But what am I? A customer or an employee? It's not my job to figure out the price of your product. Seriously! Do you want to know why ECOM is kicking your butt? Just keep re-reading this paragraph and you'll have the tip of the iceberg. It took at least 15 minute to check out. When I finally got checked out I looked back at the first register and they were still waiting for a manager to come and help with whatever problem they had. So let me back up. The dressing room I used was dirty and in need of repair. There were no hooks on the wall to hold my clothes because the hooks had been pulled off the wall and the floor was nasty. The person working In the men's department was very pleasant but seemed to be completely clueless when I asked for assistance. I don't blame the employees in the store. It's obvious management and corporate just don't care and I'm sure the attitude trickles down to the employees. In fact, it seems the employees at this location are on slowdown." (Look it up. Wikipedia has a good article) Corporate, if you're reading this you need to realize the biggest advantage you have over eCom is Personal Customer Service and you are squandering that! This is a pretty busy Target location. The store is well kept for having a lot of traffic come through it. It is Stonecrest afterall.... The one thing that prevented me from giving more stars is the actual Stonecrest Parking lot. It can be a nightmare coming out of there most times. It's probably due to all the Charlotte transplanted people from different parts of the country (resulting in different driving styles)... but I swear 4-way stop intersections are pretty much everywhere... people are either too nice and just sit there or way too aggressive and you see your life flash before your eyes after braving the Target crowd. They have gotten better about keeping registers open so that the lines aren't ridiculous. read more

Decent store, and carry much more than the Blakeney store. This is a fresh goods store and their inventory is always pretty good. Doesn't feel as busy as Blakeney, but perhaps they're more efficient. Their Starbucks is pretty slow, though the staff are very polite and friendly. read more

Right away, "she was we're out we hadn't had any in weeks" and my mom had just got a pack 1 week ago.... which I told her. I just generally asked if they get shipments and which days do they so I can call and see if by miracle any come in... she was so unfriendly sounding and being harsh, like, "I don't want to give you false info etc or wrong info" bc I just wanted the shipment info to be able to call and check.... (plus she gave wrong info saying we hadn't had in weeks) lt was unnecessary. It makes me sad bc it's my favorite target. Her comments, tone, everything. I called back to try and speak to a manager and guess whose the manager, her. So I will later get a different manager to talk to. During this time, we should be trying to be kinder to one another, you never know what's going on and what a person is going thru.... a person like her shouldn't be at customer or guests services. I had called 5 other places b4 this point, and another target who was more than friendly Walgreens, cvs, Home Depot and all places were more than happy to look and so so nice on the phone. This Target is at a good location, inside Stonecrest. It has a Starbucks and it's little food court as well. They also have a place to print pictures, so really it's a one stop shop. Not technically a Super Target, it has a grocery section. This store is normally clean in all aspects including the bathrooms. Sometimes finding an option at the checkout can be difficult. A very popular location, they can never seem to have enough cashiers and there is always a line. They also have no clear way of blocking off a lane when the cashier is trying to go on break. On Sunday morning this place was really hopping. There were a lot of families with small children, who were upset to be awake. The parking was very limited, and it was a little difficult to get in and out. read more

My closest neighborhood Tar-jay has recently added a full grocery section even though this store is not large enough to be a Super-Target. In any case, I am pleased because now if I happen to be at Target, I can also pick up a few necessary grocery items without having to make another stop at HT or Trader Joes on the way home. Plus, when I am looking for a quick microwave meal to take to the office, they have Kashi frozen meals at much better prices than I would pay at other stores. As a nice bonus, if this Target happens to be out of something I wan, I can drive about a mile or so down Rea Road and check out the Blakeney Target! read more

I am such a big fan of Target & I love living between the two Targets on Rea rd. Between the two, I like the Target Far South better. For most people coming into this Target, you will encounter a four way stop sign. I am perfectly capable of handling a four-way stop, but 85% of people are not. When I do my shopping and I am trying to decide which Target to go to, I will come to this one to be quick, but it I am really looking for something I head to Blakeney. The selection here appears to smaller or picked over. Still a great Target, but when there is less than two miles separating the two... the choice is easy. read more

I used to love Target, now... meh. This Target is relatively clean, there's a good selection of merchandise. The staff leaves much to be desired. Almost evey employee I run into has a sour attitude. Today I was almost run over by an employee pushing a cart out of an aisle. I apologized and said, "I'm sorry, I didn't see you" He scoffed and blew past me. Really? That's just common courtesy, at least offer a weak "excuse me". The pharmacy on the other hand has always been great. I drive out of my way to use this pharmacy. The pharmacist, Ali, is AWESOME. On more than one occasion he has helped me and done so with the utmost respect. The technicians are equally as amazing, I've never encountered a cranky pants (and I've been using them for 5+ years). read more

What I love most about this location is the variety! I'm a huge fan of shopping for fun and different clothes at Target and this location always offers a wide variety of sizes and selections for me to choose from! They seem to flawlessly transition different styles in without making the options seem cluttered or unorganized. The shoe selection is great too...I can often find my size which is really hard to do at other locations. And I must say that have an amazing clearance section. The same is true for the rest of the store, great choices and plenty of it! Another thing I really like about this location are the associates! They really make sure they are available if you need something! Often, I'll just be strolling up and down the aisles and associates will ask me if I need any help finding anything! If I could rate this place any lower I would. The experience we had was absolutely ridiculous and the manager JASON is the funniest dude ever, let me tell you. Went in to buy something(action figure) and he sent an employee over to tell us its limit one per person but they didn't say it was one per family. When I went to buy one myself all of a sudden the item was missing. We came back an hour or so later for something unrelated(Pokémon cards) and when we went to check out we asked about price matching GameStop since a customer themselves asked if we were going to price match because that's what he does. It's on TARGETS website with a list of other stores they price match, the cashier asked for the managers help but had to walk to HIM (who had already called for backup the second we walked in) because he refused to come over and talk to us. We could here her ask him and immediately without a second thought told her they aren't price matching. Ridiculous. He had to call security along side THREE OTHER EMPLOYEES because of what? I tried to buy multiple of one item earlier? We left empty handed and very unhappy. Manager isn't even man enough to deal with whatever issue he had with us being there and had to send over someone else two different times to relay a message. Felt like we were criminals with them watching us at the register. Won't be shopping here and definitely not recommending this place to anyone. I'm starting to notice a pattern here, but it's not a bad thing. It's kind of nice to go into a Target and have things in the same places as some other Targets. Things feel familiar; you have a sense of direction and have an idea where things are. I went directly to the toy department. For the item I wanted, there were multiple price points and product choices which was nice. The battery section is conveniently located by checkout. Checkout was fast. In and out in about 5 minutes. There's also a Starbuck's kiosk associated with the snack bar here. read more
