As a bigger woman I have always liked the fit of targets plus sizes, however this location has decided they no longer support the plus size community and no longer carry anything bigger than the circumference of my ankle. I've already cut back on my Target shopping thanks to the DEI rollbacks. I guess this just ends my relationship with them altogether. Do not support non-inclusive stores. read more

This store is TRASHED. It's a shame because it's a beautiful new store but it is not kept up in the least. There are items tossed everywhere, merchandise piled on the floor. The employees were standing around gossiping or on their phones. I was appalled. I couldn't find what I was looking for in my size because the styles were mixed up and nothing was sized. I have stopped in this target for a very early morning visits and it's virtually empty at 8 o'clock on a Sunday so there's lots of quiet shopping to be had. There is an Ulta beauty section which was mostly taped off to restrict access however I found the store to be neat, clean and orderly. There is a Starbucks Inside as well. read more

For me to stop here was kind of not needed at the time. I wasn't even really looking for anything in particular, but since I was out, I wanted to keep myself busy by stopping at as many shopping plazas as I could. What a stupid mistake, especially since this plaza was a bit wonky. I came in here to honestly grab some essentials that I didn't necessarily have to have, but since I was out, why not get what I need and be done with it. Even though it was busy in here, I was still able to find what I needed and not feel rushed about it. However, when it came to checking out, there was a larger than expected line. I didn't mind, I was here for a reason, to waste some time and get some items. I had my airpods in and was minding my business. Get to the head of the line at the self checkout area and had the most pleasant discussion with the lady manning the area. She should be in a different line of work. Approaching people and just having a leisurely conversation with them. She had a gift which made for a nice end of a shopping trip. read more

Who doesn't love Target; it's brightly lit & neatly fashioned, so you'll find pretty much everything you need. I also love that Target stores have the same setup; this makes it easy for me to beeline it to my desired section with haste, as I'm normally doing my "stick & move" caper. And as expected, I was able to grab & go. I did however note upon my entrance, a Starbucks to my right, hello WINNING & a Cafe like area to my left, still WINNING!!! As I stated, I was on the run, so no time to stop & peruse, but I as I stated, I did take note. Love that Target has an African American Hair Section and lots of those products are featured on the end caps. Hope to have MY PRODUCT featured there soon!!!! read more

Everyone that knows me, knows how much I love Target. It's my go to spot, my happy place. I went yesterday to pick up a few things and everything was normal, the store was neat and organized but when I got to the line, I was so disappointed. There was a line all the way past the Ulta section with only 1 cashier working. So almost everyone was directed to the self checkout line. I feel that going to self check out should be optional. And that's almost always the option that I never take. Tis the season and there is no reason why at 2:43pm on a Tuesday afternoon with it being this close to Christmas that target should only have 1 employee working a register. I normally like going to Target seeing the associates around the store asking if help is needed and greeting customers. Yesterday's experience just didn't sit right with my spirit and it gave me Walmart vibes. read more

I went to the Mitchellville location today, in the hunt for some new primer and a foundation match! I finally got it, but I couldn't do it without the help from the beautiful Ulta sales rep Dina. She was so kind, helpful, and patient; she gave great suggestions and carried a great conversation all the while teaching me about the makeup products. She's the best!! read more

I love shopping at Target, and will go in focused on getting one item, not bothering to grab a shopping cart, but end up with a dozen items, and a numb arm. We were continuing our Black Friday shopping excursion yesterday, and couldn't not hit up Target. Some guy walking out as we were walking in, warned us that it was brutally busy in there. We were underwhelmed once inside, because it just looked like any other day at a Target. That worked for me!! I wanted the Black Friday deals, minus the Black Friday stress. So underwhelmed didn't mean unimpressed, as this location served all that is needed for a Tarjay fix. Also, special shoutout to our cashier. I believe that her name was Kamar. Recently renovated and down right BEAUTIFUL. The aesthetics, design, and overall organization are spot on (pun intended). They had diverse inventory that was well stocked. BUT THEIR CLEARANCE SECTIONS, WERE GOLD. I didn't have the best interactions with staff. I'll chalk it up to an extremely busy day and them being short staffed. ALSO, I was told that they no longer carry JoyLab apparel and I'm PRAYING that it was a mistake or at the very least, just this particular location. read more

I was in a long snaking line at Target on Mitchelville road in Bowie Maryland on Saturday, July 29, 2023. There was only one register open and the rest were self checkouts. This was a Saturday afternoon! Customers were complaining, but not loudly. We agreed to Yelp. There's lots of renovations in progress, which means Target is making a profit in this location. So my question is, why are you treating your customers so poorly? Our time is just as valuable as yours. It also didn't add to the experience to be stuck in a toilet without paper It wasn't very tidy. read more

this target is not very helpful when it comes to problems with issues with gift cards. I got to register and the card was in envelope and when I checked out and got home I pulled gift card out and the gift card was not in the envelope thing. target told me I had to call Apple to handle the problem they could not even walk over and look behind the register to see if it fell out there. I consider that pure laziness and I was up there less than 2 hours after I checked out. I do not recommend shopping at target in Bowie they will not lift a finger to help you. read more

This Target has a convenient parking lot. The store is clean, well organized and the staff will help you as needed. You see the staff everywhere. This store is brightly lit and the employee we encountered last night was marvelous. We were searching for a particular item and when I saw the employee I proceeded in her direction. Before I could utter a word she said "greetings, how can I help you!". The funny thing is I turned around to see if she was speaking to someone else. I asked my question and she was able to not only tell me the general area the item was located in but the aisle and the row number. I thanked her and walked away. My spouse stopped and mentioned he wanted to purchase a particular toy for the grandchild. I committed that the popular toy is probably sold out. The same Target employee over heard our conversation and again was able to tell us which aisle/row the item would be located in. You can only imagine our happiness when we saw there was two of the toys left. We return to the Target employee and asked for her name because we wanted to thank her and let her know we would leave a review for on their website ... unfortunately the functionality wasn't available on the Target website so I called back to leave the review at guest services. Today 3/12/23, 8:15 a.m. Katie in customer service was very unpleasant. No smile on her face. In fact I asked her if she was having a bad day and she said no. I did a price adjustment of which she acted as if she had no knowledge of doing one. The price adjustment was completed she gave me my refund in the form of a gift card, I said thank you and she didn't respond just had a smirk on her face. She had a total resting bitch face. Katie, in the future you should call out if you don't want to deal with customers. I will also write corporate about your lack of friendly customer service. read more

What can you say? It's a Target! Clean, good stuff, staff are reasonably friendly and responsive to problems in the self-check. I used the pharmacy once and got my prescription filled quickly by friendly people. When I had to return an item, the lady at the customer service desk was friendly and jovial. She did the return quickly and easily. The store brand (Up and Up) disinfectant wipes are the best non-name brand wipes I've tried. Gotta ding them on the Starbucks, though. The baristas are usually too busy talking to each other and customers they know to get around to taking your order and that gets pretty annoying after the third or fourth time. The seating area is lame, but typical for in-store Starbucks. read more

This is one of my favorite Target locations in the area. Clean, organized and stocked shelves. I appreciate the fact they usually have plenty of lines open for a speedy check-out. I love the pharmacy because they are truly a friendly group of people. They usually always remember me and call me by name. It's the little things that keeps me coming back. Target will always be second best to walmart in my eyes as far as prices goes. But as a former employee of this target, I have to give props where props are due. The place stays clean and the staff is friendly. (True the store manager is close by making sure of it!) Secret tip: At checkout, if a customer says that a price is different in the paper or that it was different on the floor than what is shown on the register, whether true or not, the cashier can change it without challenging it.There's a button on the register after changing a price that says: customer challenge. So see something that cost 20 but you want to pay 15. just say that it was 15 in the paper, I guarantee that it will work. read more

I walked in today and was looking for a specific Christmas CD and while walking through the store , not one person said hello , hi, happy holidays, Merry Christmas . Nothing . Not a friendly person to be found . I was almost run over by two employees with big loading trays filling shells and stock . They were all very busy but no customer service to be found . Plenty of employees yelling out at each other and across people,but no interaction with the ppl buying product . There was no music and the store was cold and lacking any holiday spirit . It's a solid Target! There wasn't a long wait, and the store was neat and clean. I did need help locating an item, and Gary (I believe ) walked me to where it was. Unlike many Targets, this one is fairly stocked which makes me happy! I like the fact that it has everything that I need in this location, but it isn't near my apartment. Worst Pharmacy Service ever !!!!! Approached the pharmacy counter only for Sudafed. There are no customers in line (or in the store we just had 5 inches of snow) so I expect to get acknowledged within 30 seconds. After not being acknowledged by the Pharmacist or Technician I asked if they had Sudafed. The Pharmacist responded we will be with you. I'm thinking you should have acknowledged me when I walked to the counter. The technician came to the counter and I asked for Sudafed. She is offering me all the different varieties and I keep asking for a specific kind. What a waste of time. If the staff can't communicate with me effectively just think how they are communicating with your physician.... Needless to say I left and went to CVS (where the service is just as bad ) read more

If you're old like me, you remember Dart Drugs. It was a cool store with a little bit of everything in it. When Targets first start coming around, I thought it was Dart Drugs being resurrected. It kinda is. But it's much more. Your basic household needs and small department/grocery store all wrapped under one roof. Sale prices are good. Normal prices are, well, normal. But to get all your household needs without going from store to store, Target is the place to be. read more

I've always had a pleasant experience when coming into this Target. My most rememberable moments in this target are the times that I come in when I need to make personalized photo books. This review addresses the store's Starbucks franchise only. Today I went shopping at Targets and while I was generally content with the customer service I received, the Starbucks staff left a great deal to be desired. When I walked up to the counter, I had to wait while the cashier finished her conversation with a fellow Targets employee, both of whom acted annoyed that I was there. The cashier took my order, marked the cup and put it where the barista works. The barista in the meantime has now engaged in conversation with the Target worker who was ahead of me, and slowly gets that girl's drink. In the meantime, the line behind me had grown. The barista turned back to me and asked if I wanted whipped cream on my pumpkin spice latte (not the drink I had ordered) - I told her what I had ordered and she said, "Ok, it's coming up." Well, apparently "coming up" meant after the ten people behind me. 15 minutes later, I was still waiting for my drink. I told her I was this first in line and that this was ridiculous. She blamed it on the cashier, and then produced a lukewarm cup of coffee, in a cup which, I later realized, had a hole in it. She had obviously started working on the drink 15 minutes earlier and forgotten about it. The bad cup was the final straw. I had to dump the drink. The lack of customer service in a store that otherwise works hard to serve its customers was appalling. read more

This Target location has come along way!! I used to hate coming into this Target because of the workers and it was ALWAYS crowded!! Now this location is updated and fresh! The workers are great!! Just popped in for my niece to spend the value on her gift card. The store was presentable and no hassles at checkout.

This is a pharmacy only review!! My husband needed a prescription filled it was 12:58 and they go to lunch at 1. It was kind of an emergency so we were going to wait around for it. The pharmacist was so nice she filled it right then and there. That's what I'm talking about, that customer service people don't do that for you anymore. Even when you are paying for it. Pretty nice for a Target. Stopped in to get the latest Harry Potter on special, and they had it in stock. Sweet.

Although a little pricier than Walmart and a little less selection of certain items, I would still rather go to Target any day of the week than our local Walmart, which is nasty. This Target is clean, neat, and organized. And the staff is usually friendly and helpful. I love that they have groceries now too.
