We brought cupcakes, chips, other snacks, drinks, and all the plates and forks and such we would need. They staff did all the prep and clean-up, though (we helped), and they were really amazing throughout the entire event. They will ask for all of your personal information and enter it into their corporate database "so you can have a customer ID". I don't like it when they do that. It was like the old Radio Shack where even if you were buying one triple-A battery, they asked for your phone number. Same here. There was delicious jasmine tea, refreshments, and a variety of plants to choose from for prizes. The lighted pavilion is a lovely outdoor space. We were there for two hours, and then we had a chance to check out the shop, which is full of beautiful gift items and teas. You can tell that the whole place is a labor of love.

I purchased two expensive trees (among other plants) a year ago, and one of them died over the winter. I requested a replacement, but the service team stated that I missed the one-yer warranty period by a week. If you charge that much for your product, you should back it up. Not coming through because I missed a one-year window by a week is unfair and shortsighted. One would be better off buying from Lowe's or Home Depot a quarter mile north. What does one receive for the premium pricing? Better plants? Nope, mine died. Better service? Nope, denied replacement because of a week. The value is not there.
