I found exactly what I was looking for, some pantry baskets, and they were even on sale/clearance, and in exactly the quantity I needed!

I am a newly returning Kohl's customer--it's been years. Within my first week of shopping at the Bowie store, I encountered two separate service concerns -- so here's my complaint and commendation at the same time: First, I attempted to return an item that the system initially indicated was "not returnable," though no clear reason was provided. I was asked for additional information, which I provided. When the associate was unable to resolve the issue, the interaction became noticeably impatient and dismissive. There were visible signs of frustration, including non-verbal cues that conveyed irritation rather than a willingness to assist. At one point, the interaction shifted in a way that felt personally directed rather than solution-focused. The associate was very frustrated (unbelievable to me), eye-rolling, expressions of exasperation, and standing with her hands on her hips. The tone and body language suggested that the internal system discrepancy was somehow my responsibility. That was inappropriate. If internal numbers do not match or a technical discrepancy exists, that is an operational matter to resolve--not a customer failure. Redirecting frustration toward the customer reflects a lapse in composure and the lack of regulating yourself. Fortunately, the manager on duty, Deidra, intervened, hallelujah! She was calm, respectful, and solution-oriented. She did not display frustration, and she handled the matter with professionalism. Ultimately, the issue was resolved. I would like to formally acknowledge her leadership and demeanor. She demonstrated the level of service customers expect. Second, I recently received an online order that arrived visibly damaged. Items were missing from the package. Thankfully, I photographed the condition upon arrival. I followed the Deidre's instructions to resolve the matter, and that issue was also addressed by the very helpful, respectful and professional service representative. However, experiencing two service disruptions in my first week as a returning customer raises concern. As someone who leads an organization and manages diverse personalities daily, I understand that challenges arise in any business. What distinguishes a company is how its "people" respond under pressure. Customers should not feel the emotional burden of internal system or procedural challenges. Courtesy, patience, respect and professionalism should be first--even when resolution requires additional effort. I appreciate that both matters were ultimately resolved by the manager, Deidra; thank you for not displaying discontent with me for a matter that was out of my control. Sincerely 3/3/26

There is a Barnes and Noble as an anchor store. The one by me is long gone. The Best Buy here is now vacant. They have many good food options. We were here for the Savor Bowie event. Seemed like 100+ vendors were lining the Main Street. Still, lots of of free parking option available in the back lots. Stores don't open until noon on Sundays from what I noticed. Many restaurants didn't have breakfast options except First Watch, of course.

They all look like cookie cutter examples from the original. The only difference, the stores held within. This location does seem to be fairing well when compared to other locations. Obviously not as good as outlet malls, but still holding its own. I was surprised by the amount of stores, but the lack of foot traffic. I came on a Sunday and there was hardly anyone here. Those that were coming were running into a single store and heading out. It doesn't seem that far fetched to have an area like this be busy. But I think that most people are straying away from shopping centers like this. The mix of stores didn't really compliment one another and if you wanted to go to other stores in the center you have to go away from the town center portion. I am sure that when it is warmer this is a more vibrant place, but places like this aren't that magically in the colder months.

They don't have enough merchandise to fill the sales floor. I came in here in search of birthday gifts and wasn't very lucky. I gave up on that fairly quickly and decided to just browse what they had. When I say there was a lack of selection they still had items from Christmas on the shelves. Imagine seeing Christmas and Valentine items on shelves well into March. I did a bit more browsing and every single time I passed the fragrance items I was pounced on. I am not one that wants to be approached until I at least looked. What I wanted wasn't correctly put on the shelves. Without any prompting, an employee was right beside me attempting to get me to buy. When I asked the price, which isn't completely marked, I nearly laughed. Then when it did come time to check out here for the few items I did find, there was only one register counter open. With one associate working the counter. There was a line and each of the people in the line had either multiple items or returns to do. It was to the point that I wondered back to the main aisle of the store to scope out if there were any other area open. When I did this, an employee must have been coming back from a break and asked me if I needed anything. She pointed me to the desk behind me and I told here there was a line and I was trying to get out of there. She didn't even head back and take off her coat, she just jumped on the register. The only bright spot in this visit.

This store is Fabolous. The selection of business attire is amazing. I highly recommend this store.read more

As I am aware that every register can process returns, I asked how much time she needed to prioritize her tasks and I would be happy to wait. She then informed me that she was not going to argue with me and proceeded to walk away and continue her work behind a closed door. After closing the door in my face, without a resolution, I decided to write this review and look forward to formal store and district management to give me a call. This is awful service
