Customer service tonight at exchanges & returns is non existent. The store is full of minorities who should be boycotting them but I digress... few cashiers and I had 2 packs of gum to purchase. The cashier told me she didn't plan to stand at the register right now. I know the store is busy but come on. I then stood in line for a long time is all I will say. You can find some of the hard clearance items to find. I wasn't happy with the customer service initially. They item I wanted was labeled "team lift" and when I tried to ask for assistance getting it to the register I was met with a nasty attitude. Now this person wasn't busy they were putting things back i' not sure why she was nasty but thankfully the person who was working in customer service was not. She was kind and patient. I noticed however the store doesn't do a great job at labeling their clearance you would need to know what's on sale because if not you can miss out on a ton of great deals. Overall the store was cleanly with the exception of clearance and I will be returning for more clearance items. read more

This Target is slowly stepping up their game! It's better than Greenbelt and Upper Marlboro locations. The apparel department always looks presentable no matter what time it is. There's hardly a time when I needed something and it was out of stock. Price matching or honoring old sale prices from the prior week is honored without any problems. No waiting in lines!! As we all know you can never just run into Targay to pick up just one thing... that is unless your order online and pickup at customer service. I have done this on more one occasion, in & out in 10 minutes flat (during business hours). Only once have I been there and the line was longer at customer service while all of the other checkout lines were empty! Knowing my way around a Target even with the new cool updated renovation, I figured I would be better off picking up my item & paying for it in checkout rather than standing in the customer service line. I did just that, snagged my item, checked out, and canceled my online order from my phone all within minutes. Who doesn't love Target?!? So convenient! read more

I'm sorry but this Target sucks. I only gave them three stars because the area (Glendale) is nice. Idk who works the overnight stocking shift but corporate needs to look into where half of the items are disappearing to...because items are NEVER on the shelves. Maybe 'Bri'Asia and nem' are getting first dibs on all of the hair gels because those, along with several other 'health and beauty' items, are NEVER in stock when I come to this Target, and I come here pretty often. Don't come here looking for a re-up on your favorite beauty product...chances are it'll be out of stock! Furthermore, products are thrown every which way...just a disorganized mess. Employees seem to be more concerned with chatting it up rather than ringing up paying customers. I love Target but this location needs to step it up. I love Target. This particular Target is pretty decent. The store is clean and the staff are friendly. The cashiers always make convo while checking out. The customer service dept. is also good when I have to price match items with other stores or Target.com. I wish they could price match at the registers but it's all good, I guess. A few times, items I need are out of stock. But before I come here I usually check the app to make sure certain items are in stock. The app is usually right 99% of the time. I really don't have any complaints about this store. However, I find a better selection of women's clothes at the Greenbelt location. read more

I ordered a food processor online. i came in 3 days later to pick it up and they couldn't find it. The pick up field in the email showed my first and last name and middle initial. Someone there misplaced it under the wrong name so i had to go back up the car to get the code since they couldn't use my ID only. Instead of apologies the lady at the counter gave excuses. I'm giving the store a better than one because my other cashier was nice and capable. read more

This Target location has evolved over the years. They recently underwent a renovation and have enhanced the overall appearance​. However, as a former employee and frequent shopper,​ I think they could do a little better on the customer service area. DEEP SIGH!!! Words can not express how much I dislike this Target! If I could, they would get ZERO STARS! I'm currently incapacitated and can't get around like I normally am able too, so I have to depend on my family to run errands for me. I called this Target to check on 2 items and see if they could hold them. The clown I spoke to claimed she put them on hold, well after my brother went there to pick them up, of course nothing was on hold. I called the store again and someone else put the items on hold. Again, he went to retrieve the items and nothing was on hold. TWO WASTED TRIPS! I was pissed! One person claimed they don't place items on hold, one person said it is on hold...hey management, please convey the rules to your employees so the customer will know what is and isn't allowed. The lack of customer service in this store never ceases to amaze me! I don't think I've ever encountered a professional team member since this store has been open. People with bright red, orange or blue hair, too tight skirts or pants on, walking past customers without speaking, not offering to help customers, loud inappropriate side talk amongst other employees...the list goes on. The shelves ARE NEVER STOCKED!!! They could advertise something on sale in the Sunday ad and when you get there on Sunday, they don't have it. WHAT?!?!? Due to my injury, I was forced to use a motorized scooter that Target provides and one of the employees had the nerve to say to me, "now you know you don't need to be in that!" Now I'm fully aware that I'm a YOUNG TENDER, but you have no clue what ailments people have that force them to use the scooter. After I told him that I do require the scooter and if I didn't need it, I wouldn't be in it, he apologized profusely. Boy stop! I try to support local businesses but I swear it never works. I can see that I'll be leaving my county and go to the newer more friendlier Target in Crofton. I bet they'll appreciate my hard earned money! read more

I'm not sure why this Target has such bad reviews. My kids and I love this Target. They are always super friendly. Great finds in the clearance department and their handbags are always super cute. I've had many interactions with the employees and the pharmacy department. They have always been friendly and helpful. I've even had an employee go out of their way when I was looking for a sweater for my daughter. Her school uniform only allows one color. And I really needed to find a specific size. I went to customer service and the lady called someone in that department. They not only found exactly what I was looking for but were happy to do it. I'm not sure if I've just been lucky or what, but I have always had a good experience at this place and reading some of these reviews I wonder if something has changed for the better at this location? read more

Like most ppl I absolutely love target. I never had bad experiences at any target I've been to in any given state. This target was no diff. I think they have excellent staff that are friendly and attentive. They have a good mixture of young kids and older seasoned folk working here which makes for an enjoyable shopping experience with great customer service. I have been a few times during this covid-19 pandemic and they have been nothing but pleasant. Thank you all for working so hard. read more

Is this the forgotten Target? As soon as you walk in, the dollar section is empty. There are products and things all around guest services. Minimal cashiers and slow lines. Staff are somewhat helpful. I think I would prefer to avoid this locale if I can. read more

I actually prefer this Target. The goods are great. I've been lucky to go when all feels calm (unlike the walmart around back where its drab, dreary, and blah). Products in Home section are really nice...a bit pricey but great. The employees here are truly kind. Each person I've had to interactive with has been exceptional. read more

This by far is the worst Target I've ever been to. The selection is terrible. Went to find a bottle warmer for my daughter who just had a baby, to my surprise the store didn't even have one to sell. This store is horrible!!! The jean section in the womens department has been a mess for at least 5 weeks. Nothing is ever sized or folded. I complained to a manager but she just made up excuses about being short staffed. Also the shoe department is a mess with empty boxes and shoes mixed together on the self. I like this location because it's close to my office and quieter than over-crowded DC locations. HOWEVER, within the two times I needed to exchange product the line was 7 people deep and they only allocate one employee to help. It feels a little ridiculous to wait 10-15 minutes to simply exchange something. You should be more cognizant of this and really send someone else to help. read more

I've been shopping here since it opened and I love it. I'm a Target person - won't shop at Wal-Mart. I understand some of the complaints in the other reviews. However, I've seen changes in the store when necessary. I tend to shop in the daytime. Customer service (at any retail store) is better during the day. However, I've never had any problems with the service at the Lanham Target at any time. Once I did hear an inappropriate conversation amongst Target team members. But I didn't see those employees again after that incident. I'm at the store at least once a week. I also have had to use the motorized wheelchair due to a knee injury. It worked great and I only received courteous offers of help from the staff. I appear to be in my early 30's. Their inventory is the reason they are my favorite Target. I find the shelves to be consistently better stocked and neater than the Bowie location on Route 301 or at the Largo store. I don't use their pharmacy - I use CVS. I also go to an actual Starbucks store for Starbucks coffee. The Starbucks coffee in Target, Barnes and Noble, or anywhere other than Starbucks isn't prepared the same. Call me a Starbucks snob. Bottom line, Target exists for convenience with reliable quality. It's pretty good for most items. For things that matter, like meds, furniture and Starbucks, go to a specialized retailer. read more

This store use to be great but now it is one of the worse targets around. The lines are extremely long with 2 registers open most of the time. I ordered a bike online for father's day and when I received confirmation my order was ready for pickup, my dad went and was waiting for almost 30 mins while they are trying to locate the bike. The bike was never located and they promised they would out together a new bike that he was going to pick up the next day. The next day I get an email that my order was canceled and target customer service was absolutely no help. What happened to customer service. Will not be frequenting target much anymore. Guess they don't value customers since they are sop popular now read more

I have been to this Target numerous times just because it is close to my home to pick up items like diapers or wipes, but lately I have found myself driving an extra 20 to 25 mins to another location. This Target is NEVER stocked or always has limited quantities of products and clothes. Shame because i am a HUGE fan of Target and shop there for just about everything. I wish someone would finally fix the problem at this location. I see why CVS has been in business for a long time at least they hire people for the pharmacy that actually know about meds. I just came from this horrible place it was terrible i should've known when i saw a man holding his screaming daughter leaving from the direction i was headed i can bet any amount of money they went to that piss poor pharmacy!!!!! Now lets get to it, when i arrived it was a line 3 ppl no woories so far i figured it was after work its supposed to be like that but when it was my turn all the fun starts ,first they cant find me in the system thats cool im new here, but when the girl that was helping just stood like what am i supposed to do thats when i knew it was trouble she finally left and asked someone in the back then told me its going to be awhile and that she was just working on my meds before i walked up ( which she was lying to my damn face because i was in the store already she had been there up front the whole time ) so i leave and go to hair products aisle and get advice about dreads from a bald head guy what sense does that make lls. I return to be told its gonna be just a few more minutes, few minutes pass and i get called to a register with $ 188.46 on the screen i tried to explain to the girl that target has $4 meds and mine was on the list guess what she told me " I DONT KNOW " then gave me that dumb ass look again like (sooooooooo what am gonna do now) i told her i wasnt getting the meds and went to the actual pharmacist thinking that i could get some closure to the situation or maybe a reason why it was so expensive guess what SHE told me "OH I DONT KNOW MAYBE THE ONLINE PRICES ARE WRONG BECAUSE THEY ARE NEVER UPDATED AND MAYBE YOU SHOULD TRY COSTCO OR WALMART " i just stepped off i wont be going back but i might take her advice to try the other stores :( read more
