I wonder how this Target manages to stay open. Almost always out of most things; one cashier tops -- no matter the day or time -- one cashier. The interior of the store appears clean -- at least the times I have been inside but I do not shop here often. The exterior is a different story. It's pretty dirty right outside; particularly, the steps which are filthy. While parking is ample (major plus) the lot is filthy as well. Nasty, actually. Don't think it has been cleaned since the store opened. The three stars is because despite all of the above, I love the convenience of being able to check online to see if this location has what I need in stock or not. read more

I love target but not this one. There are always spilled drinks at the escalator entrances, the cart escalators are always broken, and employees never seem to be in a helpful mood. I prefer to visit the San dimas target for my needs. read more

Fantastic... They gave a soft opening so we can see the new store before Grand Opening Spacious aisles.. Frozen foods and nice produce department. So far everyone is nice and friendly.. But give em a few months after the crowds start shopping there. And that'll change quickly. It also has a Starbucks inside the Target and a small cafe and I think a Pizza Hut. Store is built on top of the parking lot..with escalators and elevators to get you topside. Love Target but this location has gone downhill quickly. I walked in around 5:15pm on a Tuesday and pressed the button for assistance in the deodorant area where items are locked behind doors. I waited along with a couple of other customers for about 10 minutes all the while seeing 1 or 2 employees zipping past. I asked the employees at the order pickup area for assistance, they told me only Guest Services has a key. I go to Guest Services, the line was longer than usual. Waited there another 10 minutes and still no assistance. Asked an employee by the self checkout area for assistance, she told me to go back to Guest Services. Aside from leaving without what I intended to purchase, all lanes were closed, and only self-checkout was available. It was like a ghost town in there and when I was lucky enough to find an employee, they either avoided eye contact, scurried away or just didn't care. This is one of the worst Target store! I was at the store on Han 24th. After shopping, I wanted to get a hot dog and a soda. I walked to the Target food counter and waited patiently for someone to help since there were no workers at the counter. After 10 mins, I went to ask at least 3 associates if someone could help me, and all they said was "no" or "I dont know." and walked away. I then went to the customer service, and someone told me she would get someone to help. A few more mins later, someone came, but she said she could only help me with pop corn, pizza that was already made, or bottle waters. I wasted 15 mins standing there only to find out that there s only one person work at the food counter and when she us in lunch break, no one can serve or no one knows or, no one cares. If Target can only afford to have only one staff member works in that dept, there should be a sign or a schedule posted so that no custimers would waste their time waiting. read more

Wow. Tris at the register was so rude. Our stuff got mixed up with the lady behind us because she didn't use a divider, and she sighed and rolled her eyes because she had to void those items. Then she gave us a problem about doing separate transactions because we are paying separately. Seriously Tris. You don't have to be so rude to customers. I came here often with my family to shop for small items. I live far away (about 20 miles) but I still love to come here. Parking is ample and easy to park for most of the time during the day. It can be busier during the weekend prime time hours but you still can find parking easily. The items are shelved very standardly like most Target centers. The staff was readily seen and available for questions during the time I was there. The staff I asked questions was polite and helpful. Prices are standard just like any other Target in Southern California. The place is clean. I had a good experience at this center and would definitely come back if I ever need anything from here. There are two reasons I'm writing this review at last. The long lines at this mausoleum in the middle of Mars... why would there be so few lines open when this place looks like a casino without the slot machines? You really should get more people opening lines because this is going on no matter when I go to Azusa. Second: THE ATROCIOUS CONDITION of the female bathroom looks like vomited upon Porta potty stall anytime ... ANY TIME I go, it's been this way for at least a year, probably over a year, it's not a random thing where they haven't gotten to the point of cleaning the bathroom, they just don't clean the bathrooms! As you can see there's a sanitary napkin on the floor, there's dirt smudges everywhere, and look at the encrusted crap on the inside of the bathroom stall!!!! What are target employees issues that you cannot clean the bathroom?!!! Main reason I have not written of this earlier is that when I leave that Tumbleweed town of Azusa California I just don't have it in my cache memory anymore, it just Falls right out and I don't have to think about that City anymore but this is absolutely appalling! This is completely unhygenic, I took these pictures tonight June 26 2016 while a mother and her child are staring at me wondering why I was taking pictures, they should look around and understand why, maybe they're used to the bathrooms looking like that all the time!!! I can't freakin believe This target right now.. My family and I stopped in since it's our closest location. The store was filthy! Especially the bathroom! No joke, there was vomit on the floor that had to have been there for hours, trash everywhere..absolutely disgusting. Staff at this location are friendly and willing to help, but the issue with this store (even before COVID) is the availability of stock. Items that appear in stock on their app or website are frequently not in the store. Shelves are often empty or not adequately stocked. With many stores starting to return to normal stock, this Target continues to be a disappointment. You are better off driving to the San Dimas location, which often has more variety and availability. It's hard to shop local when the locality doesn't have what you need. read more

I just want to thank Jesse ! For his excellent customer service! It was very busy last night close to closing and Jesse stepped in and helped out on registers! He even kept apologizing for the wait ! I also was like 50 cents short and he pulled some change from his pocket and looked for anything I had in the cart that might have a discount on cartwheel!!! This Target's customer service is pretty amazing! I had found a furniture item online and called to see if this store carried it. A lady with the Guest Services desk not only told me that there was one left in stock, but she helped hold it while I drove there. We also had to do some baby shower shopping. The gift registry was easy to use and we were able to quickly find all the items on the list that was also available in the store. Overall, a great experience and seamless process in buying everything we were looking for. read more

Target is one of my favorite stores. And this one is my store. It's close to home, has groceries, and is clean (and new). Not all Target stores are created equal and this one is definitely a stand-out. The entire first floor is the parking lot and you take either the escalators or elevator up to the second floor which is where the actual store is. It's a huge store that is always, neat, clean and well stocked. They have a pharmacy, a Starbucks, a Pizza Hut Express, and snack bar. What more could you ask for! I'm so glad this store opened late last year. It's my new go-to store. read more

I had to come here to pick up an item I got online. I literally ordered it 5 mins before they emailed me its ready. I haven't been to this location in a while but I do remember it has escalators to get in the store and a really nice parking garage. Azusa has the confusing streets thing going but this place really easy to get in and out of since the traffic only go in one direction each side . It's also really cool how the gold line station is like literally across the street. I could've taken the train from Monrovia to here and saved gas lol. Anyway I got in and got my order at guest services which was much appreciated cuz the guest services at targets is in the front whereas at Walmart the pickup for online orders is is the back at the stores I been to at least. Just your typical awesome two story Target! Parking is on the ground floor. You have the option of taking the escalator, elevator or stairs up to the second floor where the store is actually located. There is a Starbucks inside. Store is large and has full selection of groceries. I knocked off one star (yelp won't let me knock off half a star) cause they don't have a garden center. They have garden supplies (hoses, weed killer, rakes, etc. etc. etc.) but no garden center like other Targets do. Lines are usually short. Best part is your cart locks into this little track when descending from the second story to the ground level. read more

I love Target, but this one is horrible. The customer service of the supervisor and some of the employees, especially Nicole, is so bad! They don't cater towards the customers, and they're extremely rude. They make up their own policies, even though it goes against California laws. I hate this store, used to love it now I don't. Now walmart is better! Hate the self service checkout tills. Why can't I just wait in like to get a cashier? Well because they only have one cashier open. And usually always, it's the one next to self checkout, which makes it hard to see who's in which line. I thought that during the holiday season there would have been more registers open, but that didnt happen. Yeah walmart is better now! So, my problem is with food expiration dates. I can't tell you a time that I've gone to target and not found something that was expired. One of the major items I've found at this location is baby yogurt being expired. More recently, m&ms were expired, other snack items, cold food, fresh groceries. And I understand that target isn't meant to be your typical grocery store, but why can't these stores check expiration dates when stocking the shelf? Today, I checked the dates on m&ms after returning a package a few days ago due to the Best Buy date being 02/2018. 6 MONTHS. When returning it, the lady said nothing. Didn't even ask me what was wrong, but I told her anyway and she was silent. Today, as the employees were stocking the shelf for the "candy" aisle, I spoke to them about the packages being expired, all but ONE was past its best by date, and that one was listed as 09/2018. As I walked away they giggled at each other and from another aisle I heard them say "it's not worth my time". Well, it should be worth their time. I told management and contacted corporate. We will see if they make any changes. One major positive is that the Starbucks location is always clean, baristas are ALWAYS super friendly and personable. This Target has a huge and spacious, roofed garage parking lot that protects you from rainy weather. Its really clean on the outside as well as in the inside and it has a nice and roomy Starbucks inside. Customer service is friendly and consistent. This Target also has a variety of food inside (milk, frozen food, and even some fresh fruits for sale). Definitely a Target for all your needs including some of your groceries. read more

I'm just angry that I drove in the morning and I needed to pick up some emergency supplies at target only for it to be closed. It says 7am on yelp but they don't actually open till 8am. To be honest I'm just super salty that yelp lied and maybe it's extreme to give 1 star but this is America and we have standards. End rant. Do better target. Do better. read more

This is my preferred Target store. No matter what time or day I go there, there's plenty of parking and it's not crowded. The lines are never too long. Their clearance section usually still has a decent selection of clothes, and they usually have items in stock that the other target stores don't. Parking is in a garage below the building. This store is AWFUL. Drive up always takes forever, there's never enough cashiers and sometimes there's no one at all at guest services. I tried returning an item today i had to wait for someone to come to guest service, the team member that came did not know how to do anything at all, she didn't know how to return, do order pickup or anything, so i had to wait for about 20 minutes for a "more senior team member". Then when the other team member finally came the item, that I only bought a couple days ago, using my red card wasn't coming up on my card and I was basically told that I didn't buy it from target and they couldn't do anything for me. This is the worst Target. I was hopeful that it would improve, more so because I work in Azusa. They usually have a line with only one register open. Today there were no shopping carts in the store. I order 4 sunblock lotions for my 1 year old baby and not only did it take more than a couple hours to get that ready, I called to see if I can walk up and retrieve my online order that was (already paid for) I was told yes. When I went to go inside of target at first the lady introns of customer service desk told me I wasn't able to pick up my items I demanded to talk to a manager, explaining everything was already paid for and why I could retrieve my items. She shortly came back after and said she'll be back in 5 min. I took about a little less than 20 min to do all that. I don't think you guys should be telling your customers than can't get what they paid for. That's not hold for business. I mean if you ask me , that's considered theft against a customer coming from an employer. Get it together target. read more

To be honest I will give this place a zero stars because of the services they provided. I'm glad this is not my local target because nobody was there to help me on electronic area until I had to wait for 30 minutes. I had to go literally around the whole store to find someone to help me. I found three women and they were telling me that the person who's in charge of the electronica was at lunch and then I found the first lady again and she said the man who works electronica was there and he wasn't. I didn't found him but he was helping this white couple before me when I waited 30 minutes for help. And I was before that couple he also charge of an object that my niece gave him and he didn't ask me if I wanted to buy it because i was putting objects on the counter and my card. Has what we need & it's super close to our place. Parking is plentiful but choose your time wisely because traffic from the gold line and the surrounding schools make it bad. Also located on a few 1 way streets. Had my first bad experience recently with a creep and had to ask to be escorted out by security for the first time in my life ever because this particular man followed my friend and I for a while & way too closely for comfort while making comments that were highly reminiscent of bums and crack addicts you'd find on skid row. (Formerly lived in DTLA) It's a shame because I used to frequent this location, but service has gone downhill severely. The comments regarding the ridiculously long lines are 100% true. There will be like up to 10 people per line with FULL carts and they only have 2 registers open. Don't come if you're looking to be in & out or are having a bad day because it WILL piss you off further. Plus, they're also out of hot cheetos ALL THE TIME. First of all, this is a TARGET, not a high priced supermarket, exclusive clothier or high end consumer electronics, understand? It is a place you could shop for almost all of your family needs for an entire year. You may not find the brand you want or your favorite size of food packaging, but it is there. There is plenty of parking at this Target and it is covered! An added advantage is it is perhaps only 200 yards from the Azusa Gold Line rail station. This store is generally well stocked and the employees do a good job keeping it neat and clean. I noticed a review from someone else just a few weeks ago saying the opposite. I don't know what to say, perhaps that customer is referring a a visit during the December holidays when ALL stores tend to be a mess because of the rude clientele. Be aware that the streets on either side of the store are one way. You can enter the parking from either street so it is not a problem. read more

Ok this is specifically just about the bathroom at this location. It is absolutely disgusting every time I go in it, there is always at least one stall out of order and it is always a smelly, wet, dirty mess. And the worst of it all is that there is always at least one stall that has a big ol nasty unflushed poo in it that has been sitting there already for God only knows how long. Ugh I hate to have to give a bad review but this has been this way for months now every time I go in the store so maybe this will help fix the gross problem. or at least make it so that it's not such a common occurrence anymore! read more

I never find everything that I need in one visit. I just had a baby and I was not able to find baby bottles, the one I did find the nipple was too big for my baby and they were sold out of the smaller nipple. There are times they don't have the formula my baby needs in stock and sometimes I have to ask for it and wait for them to bring it from the stock room. They ALWAYS lack basic grocery items, initially I thought it was a pandemic issue but I recently visited the West Covina target and I was able to find everything I needed so it's not the pandemic it's the AZUSA target that's lacking. They definitely need some sort of security at the store and parking because of the huge homeless issue in that area. I did see security at one point but he looked like a teen! Self checkout is usually the only option unless you go to guest services and wait quite a bit since they handle all returns, pick ups, etc. And the bathrooms OMG!!! They smell so terrible and are so dirty! They smell worse than the dog pound, the smell hits you as soon as you walk past the Starbucks, if you are at the pharmacy just hold your breath! The only positive is that the employees are usually very helpful, they are willing to look up an item to see if it's in the stock room and they will bring it out, that has been my experience at least... which is why I gave 2 stars. read more
