My second visit and found yet again amazing things.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This organization is "One in a Million " Without the store which I uncovered 9 years ago back home in Texas I wouldn't have my house equipped with what I have. My daughter lives out near Temecula and she raves about the Habitat for humanity out there. My husbands been out to the one out there and he loved it! So my husband and I were couch shopping and I was like let's try this one in Pasadena! There was no new furniture, it was more of a flea market type of place, lotsa consignment pop ups in the building. This is always a fun place to pop into of we're in the area. It's part reseller goods and part thrift and part overstock items IMO. Two floors! When I started going here a few years ago, it was mostly secondhand items but now, the game has changed as they added private seller booths (You'll still pay at the register but will need to mention the particular booth so that the seller gets their credit, I believe). They have a very good selection of eclectic items and antique furniture. Part of the fun is not knowing what you'll find! This place is expensive. The stuff they have in bulk is cheaper but the other stuff yikes. Not for the people looking for deals. It's like a huge garage sale but expensive. Some of the items are found in tj maxx and Marshall's for cheaper. read more

Unfortunately, my first experience here was very intense and very awful. The parking attendant guy was so intense about my dog not being able to come in with me, this left such a bad taste in my mouth and unfortunately, I was in there for probably 10 minutes and I couldn't look around properly because I was just uncomfortable the way the way he spoke to me and the way he was treating me. This place is a for profit store. Sold me a broken dryer. Refused to return and claim past the return period. I purchased on Friday and they closed on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I bring back on Wednesday and they claimed I passed 1 day. Don't go there. They are donation based and refused to offer anything or help. I went in just to pay and pick up something. As soon as I walked in with my small Service dog, I was accosted by the Rent-A-Car/security standing at the front door. Then he called the management who ran after me in the store and then to other employees ran after me all because of my dog. I told them she's a service dog. I was just there to pick up something and be gone and they continue to harass me even after I paid loaded the piece in my car then I thought I would walk around the corner instead of moving my car just to pick something up and was yelled at and the security guard was running after me that I needed to move my car or else he's calling to get it towed immediately. Need I say more? I will never buy from them ever. I don't recommend you going there. There's nothing there that you need. That is the worst customer service ever at vintage store in my lifetime. read more

The ReStore in Pasadena has friendly, helpful employees and volunteers. Martha, Ana, and Serena are always cheerful and happy to assist. Visiting the store feels like exploring a treasure trove; you can find great items at affordable prices, both new and used, for household or construction needs. My rule of thumb: if I see something I like, I buy it on the spot, chances are, it won't be there when I go back next time. They also have vendors selling antiques and other unique tchotchkes. The only downside is the small parking lot, which can make parking a bit challenging. Other than that, you'll always find a great deal while supporting a wonderful nonprofit organization, Habitat for Humanity. They're also helping fire victims by offering 50% off purchases (just show an ID with the affected address). Happy treasure hunting! read more
