I really like this Target, although I do not come to this particular location often. The set up reminds me of Ikea, in which you ride the escalator to the top of the store. The store has a nice set and spacious set up, which I like. As soon as you enter the store, you are greeted w/ the dollar spot (my favorite place to go and browse through for useless knick knacks... or as my fiance calls it "clutter"). On your right, there is a Starbuck's. The rest of the store is your typical Target store set up, but I love that the layout is easy on the eyes, things are not all over the floors, departments are easy to find and walk to, etc. read more

One she had us standing there for at least a minute, when usually they ask us to step up when they're ready to begin the return. Once we walked up to her my girlfriend said hello and she stayed quiet and just began to scan our items and asked for a ID. Overall, lady has an ugly attitude and should find another job if she has an issue with customers. read more

Target is not longer a safe place to shop ever since the tram began bringing in transients. Now Target has been a less than safe place to shop. My girlfriend no longer want to shop there by herself. She's had multiple times homeless people harassed her for money while she walked back to her car. Last time I shopped, I saw multiple people in the parking structure sprung out, while others were begging for money. The worst part is I never see Target security making an outside presence. I guess they have security worrying about theft, and not their customers. I guess we will be taking our money to Walmart until TARGET can get their stuff together. read more

This is quite a large building with first floor parking, an elevator, escalators, and a main stair up to the second level where you enter. To the right are food vendors, especially Starbucks, and a patio you can get to. Wi-Fi here is free, you can connect easily enough, and even browse at your leisure. I come here for clothing deals once they're on clearance and I even check out the clearance on food on endcaps just to see what's "kind of" new. Their makeup area is very extensive, home goods are decently priced, but regular clothing can be a bit of a premium that's normally out of my range to buy. I'm very picky when it comes to buying clothes and food and Target can beat "some" retailers on certain items. However, if you find a brand that works for you - especially perusing clothes, you might find a great deal or two. The people here are nice but sometimes can be hard to find when you need help with something. I had been in the phone area for a few minutes trying to purchase a Trac-Fone card and wanted to pay in the Electronics area. I got a bit impatient after ten minutes and went to the front in order to check out. And there were only three people manning the registers from what I could see. If you want a break, go to Starbucks, get a tall dark roast for $1.95 and use the Wi-Fi as long as Target is open. On Summer days it's cool under the shaded patio area and you get a nice view of Azusa and the southern area. read more

Best costumer service I have ever experienced! I could kick myself for not remembering her name, but she was BEYOND helpful. It was a few days before Christmas and of course, I was doing some last minuet shopping... I had been looking for some footie pajamas, online it said this store carried them so I drove ALL the way from Pasadena. Sadly they weren't there. This review is not only for this branch, but the corporation as a whole: Target card services consistently claimed that they never received my prior payment and sent my case to collections. I had to write to Target and the collection agency using certified mail, describing in detail while providing proof of payment of my March bill. After more than half a year of the initial payment, Target's card services mailed me a letter, stating in one sentence that they "found the check" without any sense of apology or remorse. Are you fxxxing kidding me? A multi-billion dollar company that functions like this? NO! I will never buy goods from this company ever again, and I will also advise all of my friends and family to do the same! read more

This is such a nice Target! Although the set-up throws me off, it was clean and well kept. The design is awesome because there is plenty of parking for everyone. I swear that Target Corporation toys with their prices based on demographics so don't expect to get the same price with every location. Good Target clean and organized, usually have good clearance items, there is a Starbucks built in so that is very convenient. The big negative here is that this is a 2 story target so you park underneath the store than you have to take an escalator up which just makes it that much longer to get there. I drive out of my way and pass a Walmart on the way to this store. It is my preferred Target. That being said, I have noticed some decline. There is a few associates here who are just AWESOME. Target employs people from all walks of life but all I care about is that they are courteous to me and I have met some interesting but VERY helpful associates at this location. That doesn't mean that there aren't a few bad apples. On occasion when its super busy they pull people from other areas of the store, Im going to guess operations/back room/stockers/non-cashiers, to ring customers up. And some of those people are just NOT friendly. I get it, you hate your job. Also noticed that the store is consistently messy lately. Either they're pulling in more business or the floor staff isn't as attentive. Generally, they need more employees. They ALWAYS seemed to be understaffed. But thats something for the management to consider. Parking lot is under the actual store, which at first wigged me out. But its cool because that means shade in the summer. Be mindful that this store is smack in the middle of two one way streets and now that the gold line train is open its more hectic. The escalator will take you up and down, or you can opt for the hot elevator. But either way theres a nice balcony you can sit out on while you drink your Starbucks. All that being said, the parking lot and outside of the store is always clean. read more

So disappointed with this target! I placed an order with the Duarte location unfortunately they were out of stock so I had to come to this location. They said my order wasn't a drive up and that I had to go into the store? When I placed it with Duarte it was a drive up so I don't understand how it got changed. That wasn't even the part that upset me. When I called customer service the women on the phone told me it was against policy for someone to bring it to my car? She placed me on hold to ask someone else if that was fine but she HUNG UP on me and never helped me. I asked someone else and they helped me no problem. I love this target! The best target out there. It's clean, it's organized, and it's less crowded. I can take my time shopping without having to worry about the crowds. And trust me I can be in here for a long time. You can't go wrong with target. Love that it's upstairs and the parking here is huge!!!-The plus is ... it's underground parking so your car is never hot when you take too long shopping or have to worry about the rain when you load up the car. spent more money than i wanted to but they do have lots of selections at this target...i don't know why they have so many employees in the aisle stocking the same section and not anyone working registers. you can hear employee conversations because of so many of "working" together in one spot. besides that, the cafe view that overlooks the train station is beautiful! full view windows. thats nice! read more

Target is my go-to place for almost all home supplies, appliances and entertainment outside online retailers. Great selection, good brand quality and finding stuff is hardly a hassle. This location is right in the center of Asuza and is probably the biggest store I've ever seen (though a lot of it has to do with the size of its parking garage). Customer service was hit and miss but the place was clean and well stocked. Had I needed help, it wouldn't be hard to track down an employee since they seemed to be all over the place while I walked through the store. It's just that none of them bothered to acknowledge me. Overall, Target is a great place to shop. This location is probably the best place to shop in all of Asuza though compared to its sister stores and competitors, It's nothing to get excited about but does get the job done. read more

when i found out that the ranch market that i grew up going to was no more and a target was taking its place, i was a little upset. although i was a fan of ranch market it turns out i'm a fan of this target location as well because for lack of a better word, it's dope! when i watched it being constructed i felt like i was watching a miniature beverly center being built due to the fancy escalators leading up from the parking garage to the entrence. what's cool about the escalators is that there's the normal people escalators, one going up and the other going down but what's even cooler is the cart escalator. there are two separate escalators that latch to your shopping carts somehow with one going up and the other down. once you get into the target it's pretty standard. it's pretty and new but there's nothing that really distinguishes it from any other target. the staff is very friendly and the store is very easy to navigate. it's great to see azusa grow like this. i just hope this location doesn't bring too much trafic for residents as it's right dab in the middle of a residential area. i also hope that the rebellious segment of said citizens don't vandalize the target because it really is nice to have something pretty to look at in azusa. read more

A friend of mine worked at Target for over two years. He was a very loyal and hard working employee. On July 1st the minumum wage in LA County went up to $13.25. My friend was making less than that before July 1st and questioned why he didn't get the wage increase after July 1st. Target said they weren't going to increase the wages. So my friend applied elsewhere and was hired very quickly. On day 1 of his new job he is making $13.25. How can a large company like Target get away with not paying it's employees minimum wage? We all love shopping at Target.. But what I loath is having to deal with a return!! I went in last week to EXCHANGE!!! One size for another. No receipt , they were a gift to my son. The young lady at Customer Service informed me that "Without a receipt I would not be able to do an exchange" .... ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!?? Target wanted to have me "Return" the item for a Clearance price then "Purchase" the item in the smaller size for regular price!!!! So I would have had to in the long run PAY TARGET TO GET A SMALLER SIZE!!! As much as I love Target, this makes me want to never return, and tell as many others to do the same! No stars!!! This Target is so close to my house, however as a couponer I receive the worst service. I actually will drive 4 to 5 miles just to shop at a Target! Never enough cashiers open, and the cashiers always make up their coupon rules. Sometimes I will ask to speak with a manager however tonight the manager was just a bitch!!! It's great to have a Target so close to home however the customer service here SUCKS. I still shop here because it's just convenient however I have some horror stories about trying to get help here. For instance one day I was trying to get some help for a large furniture item....no help came so I decided to do it myself. Well I had a few bookshelves practically fall over me and I was struggling to keep them from crushing me....guess what....a "team member" walked by.....and just kept going. That's just ONE story but meh.....I like this store because they have more stuff in stock....probably because everyone is shopping at Wal-Mart. My senior father went into target today to pick up a few things (literally less than 5 items $50 or so bucks) around 4pm today, he got his items and went to checkout to find 7 to 10 people in line ahead of him Only one register open. 3 or 4 cashiers had lights on but they "weren't open" and a few other people standing around chatting. My mom sitting in the car in the parking lot waiting. How ridiculous for that to be happening, if you aren't open shut off your lights, open a few more registers.... maybe it will take a few more hands but at least your customers will tell people HEYYYY THESE GUYS GET IT!!! Not our regular store but was looking for a special musical birthday card found there 2 weeks ago. Problems today: Tag scanner in Shoe Department was not working and slipper sizes were mixed up so had to check each one of a particular style. Only two check-out employees at 10:45 am on a holiday Monday--same number on our previous trip. Cash register ran up wrong price on organic butter which had a sign featuring "new lower price" but someone failed to update the computer. Then another line a Customer Service which had one employee in order to get a cash refund for the incorrect butter price. The plus for us at this store is that we are elderly and handicapped and have close-by parking and can use elevator to get into the store itself. read more
