It's too bad this target has such a safety issue. It's never crowded and always ample parking. However they have a "transient" issue. Homeless from the train station like to hangout in the store and in the parking lot harassing customers, usually in a violent or vulgar manner. There is also one man who lives in the parking structure that has a pitbull that is never on a leash. It makes me really nervous because I owned a pitbull and know the warning signs of when they may attack. This dog is very tense and I don't believe is safe. When I see him there I won't go in the store. After being threatened to be shot and killed today by a "transient" hanging out in the Starbucks, I will not be back, I have also warned friends and family to stay out of this store. I spoke to the manager and she was really sweet. I have no issues with the employees here, I just don't know how they are going to fix this issue and until they do I do not recommend anyone coming here, especially elderly or women alone with their children, as I feel like being alone with my baby is what made me a easy target today. read more

I like this target. It is big and it has an underground parking garage that seemed empty. I went in the middle of the day and the parking garage was clean and pretty empty. Upstairs was massive. I like how organized the store was. I like it as far as I know from only being here once. They have a starbucks in it too. read more

I've been to many Target stores.... when I lived in Pasadena, my go-to Target was the one at Colorado near Lake. I really liked that one then. Then, when we moved here in Azusa, I had to go to the Duarte location which was a very, very odd Target. Just odd vibe and every time I go there, there is always some drama with a customer in line.... just @#$#@ odd! Ugh! So, then I started going to the West Covina or San Dimas which a bit of a drive for me. Then, they started building this Target location which is literally 3-4 blocks from me. I couldn't wait for it to open nor did my mom nor my husband. Then, finally it did and, I have to say that this is my most visited local store in Azusa. "Freshly-baked," clean, good-size, it has the grocery area which is good for the times I need my Horizon milk and eggs. But what I like most about this store, I appreciate the employees who work here. They are always polite and friendly. Sure, they are out of stuff sometimes, but give this store a break! It is fairly new and, they are still trying to gauge their market... This store is never crowded crazy like other Target stores so which means that in order to stay in business, they have to stock accordingly. They try to have agood variety of everything; they jsut do not have tons of each item. This Target tries hard - it even has King Arthur flour! For a Target store to carry King Arthur flour which is good quality flour that most local grocery store don not evn carry! Now, that is something else! Having a Target store in Azusa is good for this town. It needs the tax dollars to develop this town. So please support the local Azusa Target store, but don't be hanging around too long and crowding space when I am shopping there :-) read more

Convenient, yes. Necessary, sure. I live right down the street and I don't mind walking over for supplies, munchies, or some Starbucks. But customer service reminds me how much I rather go somewhere else. Everyone is so rude and some don't really help much. The occasional seasonal employee gives great service. But besides that, I really wish this place wasn't down my way. If you are from azusa, be sure to run into atleast your h.s reunion or people you rather not see on a Tuesday afternoon.. I always bargain shop here, so its good to see triple cleareance tags, for awhile they were having great deals on the YESTO products. I sure did stock up. Why the bad reviews? This is one of the nicest/cleanest Target's that I've been to. Huge parking lot, huge eating area with a nice view and clean isles. Employees are helpful and friendly. This is THE WORST target ever! if the CEO was aware of how this target opperated im sure they would fire every single employee. First of all the store is two storys, one for the parking garage and top floor is all store. The store itself is fine except there are a TON of out of place items and starbucks cups littered all over the store. I will NEVER come to this target again due to the exceptionally RUDE employees. I was not greeted by one employee and upon trying to recieve service everyone seemes angry and obviously didnt want to be there. I really like Target, but not this store. It is in a constant state of mess and confusion. Virtually every department looks like a rototiller has gone through it. They are consistently out of stock on advertised merchandise, especially in the electronics area. Today I made a purchase for an item that is normally $21.99 but had a prominent sign saying it was $16.49. When I checked out I was charged $21.99, not the advertised price. Today there were only two check outs open, and more than seven people in line at both. No one was called to open an additional check out. There were shopping carts full of merchandise in many areas of the store, may have been "go backs" but never the less what a mess for customers. This is the worst managed Target I have ever been in. read more

I love this target it's new and clean quiet and has an out door area next to the Starbucks very nice to sit and relax at u go all the time and before this target was here I had to drive so far!!! I first moved to Azusa bout a year ago, so I got to see them build this huge unique looking Target! It's smacked right in the middle of a residential street. But nonetheless I was VERY excited to see them building my favorite store here in my new town! This Target has a spacious paking lot under the store, there's always plenty of room to park. The store has friendly cashiers who always greet you with a smile. The store is well kept clean and organized. I always do my grocery shopping here too. Love the fact that there's a patio area outside, and there's a escalator or elevators for you to take. They also provide your carts with an escalator so that you don't have to take the elevator down. There's also a nice lil Starbucks here to get your caffeine / sweets fix during your trip here. I love this Target!! : ) read more

This store is the worst managed and dirtiest store I have ever been in. The carts are filthy if they are even there, the entranced is thrashed, the stairs haven't been spray washed in who knows when, the escalators work at random, the employees look less than professional and are over worked and underappreciated. I am grateful to have such a big store to shop at so close to my house. It has every practical thing that I need most of the time. The slightly higher prices make the company a little more enjoyable and it seems that the service is better then other superstores of a similar nature. I like that the entire building is kept above a giant parking structure. I also like that it had its grand opening only birthday 10/10 I believe. I anticipate that soon it will become very busy due to the train station being put in across the street. So enjoy the non-hectic Christmas like shopping while it lasts! read more

When this location first opened it was the best target ever, now as the years have passed my view of this store has changed. Every time I have gone in they never have what I'm looking for, it seems like they never ever restock. It has gotten worse as the time goes by. I came to check out the new target a few weeks ago. It looks awesome from the outside with a fresh new design. The parking is on the first floor and the shopping is on the second floor. It looks like any other Target once you're inside. I did notice that some items cost a bit more than other Targets though. read more

Line is always long. Not well stocked with product. Customer service is poor. Cashiers not educated about coupons. Also the pharmacy is the worst one. Rx takes a long time. Even when they promise a certain time they do not deliver. So you end up waiting even longer. I don't get why. Even if your he only one standing there it'll still take a long time. Poor poor poor. My fiancé and I came in last night and found a lamp on sale that we pretty much fell in love with it. There was only the floor model out and when we asked for help from 3 different people we got none. One especially said "there's only one besides this and it could literally be anywhere" you expect that at Walmart, not target. This morning it was still on our minds so we can back to speak with a manager at customer service and we helped by Kate. There is always parking available. There is also always a huge line to check out. It seems they only have bare minimum staff to checkout.

Just recently, I left the store and inadvertently left 2 small bags in my cart, dove off, didn't realize it for 15 minutes. Drove back, between customer service and security, they located my cart in the parking lot, found the bags and retrieved them! Saved me a $100 loss! read more

Its nice to see some employees around when you need help , but my gosh is it annoying to find out something because half the time they have to call someone else to help answer my questions , I just want to know when your foodcourt closes or starbucks. I love going to this Target. It's not the closes one to me but sometimes worth the extra drive to come here. Why, you ask? I very much appreciate the covered parking. On the few rainy days we have in SoCal it really helps. No need to worry about an umbrella or getting all your bags wet. Also, on the really hot summer days no need to worry about a super hot car sitting in the parking lot. For both of these reasons, I'll drive a little more to shop at this Target. Especially if I have my toddler in tow. read more

My go-to store for everything! It's a little slower than most other targets so you don't have to worry about the huge lines.

This review is for the Starbucks inside of this Target. A few months ago myself and my husband decided to purchase 2 caramel macchiatos. First of all the KID behind the counter was rude and seemed bothered that we were there. BTW, we were his first customers of the day. He proceeded to make our drinks... my drink tasted pretty bad. My husband is a bit more modest and stated that his tasted fine. It honestly didn't so I asked if he could remake my drink. (My husband didn't want to be a bother so he didn't want his remade) the KID looked mad and annoyed but remade the drink. I should have honestly just asked for a refund because all he did was put more syrup in the same drink. 12$ down the drain! Don't know this associates name( young Indian KID) but he needs to be retrained as a barista and review targets customer service policy. Will never buy coffee from u guys again! read more

The store in itself is great - good customer service, not too crowded, and the only real issue is the lines tend to get a bit long as they don't often have many people checking out. My specific note on this store that makes it 5 stars is its pharmacy. I used to go to CVS or Vons to get my prescriptions refilled, but as soon as I tried the Target pharmacy, I was sold. Not only is there never a line, unlike those other places (possibly because it's not used much, but hey, that works better for me!), but the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. They even remember me! I needed to get my prescription refilled early as I was travelling...a month later when I came back they asked me how my trip was before handing me my prescription, refilled and ready for me. I rarely have to wait for it, and to top it off, I can make the rest of my purchases there, making up for the exceptionally long lines this store tends to have at checkout. Overall, this store is great - but I HIGHLY recommend making the switch to the Target Pharmacy. You will never want to fill your prescriptions at CVS again. read more
