I love Target and a longtime loyal customer but NOT this location AT ALL. There needs to be much better management at this location most definitely. Here is a few reasons why: Mainly QA!! EXPIRED ITEMS all the time!! Shoppers, really look at expiration when shopping at this location!! See my pics to come across a few items just one visit alone!! Longest expired date so far is 3 months over expired and you can see the discoloration on them compared to the non expired items. Nothing is ever stocked up at this location. Especially circle app items. I first think, maybe due to popular item, they are sold out. But almost 75% of circle items, not stocked? Are they doing it on purpose as a tactic to get u to go shop yet nothing is available? Interesting isnt it..... oh yea, forgot to add a lot of these items are near or already expired also. Oh the irony..... They recently shut down their cafe area and converted it into a pick-up delivery section or something. Which is unfortunate as my kiddo loves to get snacks and pizza hut there but we go to other nearby Target locations instead of this. Last but not least, organization is horrible Especially clearance clothing area. Things are everywhere, on the floor etc. Benefit of the doubt it's the bahavior of shoppers also but interesting i rarely see it as bad at other locations. But this i will give them some credit/slack on. Last note: this Starbucks locations is also horrible. I have never had to pay for a "splash" of Soy. Really?! Definitely some costly "splash" of 80cents!! The girl literally said "yea, we still charge for the soy even for a splash". I might as well get a soy latte then. And why didn't they tell me that beforehand? Overall, unless its not super convenient for me or i need something urgent, i would rather go further to other locations. I rarely post negative reviews, but unfortunately, we had a difficult experience during checkout. I believe the Lead Manager (I didn't catch her name; she has black hair and tattoos) refused to assist us with our purchase. We had bought batteries from that section, and I've never been to a Target where staff didn't offer to help at checkout. Isn't the purpose of customer service to take care of customers? Thankfully, a gentleman was able to assist us, but it felt like the Lead was not pleased with us trying to check out and encouraged us to go to the front instead. If staff are there to assist, it should be done respectfully, without attitude. read more

This rating is for the "Manager Kelly" I went in for a simple exchange, I had the recipient, the box, and all original items for my Beats Pro AirPods. Before Kelly reviewed my receipt, or the item she began to say why she can't return, and how electrics have a 15 day return policy. Then she looked at my items and shared the serial numbers don't match, mind you she is looking on the Beats Pro AirPod , and not the case. So she wouldn't help me, she wouldn't call anyone from electronics, or corporate to validate. I had to call corporate for them to tell me Kelly could have called and helped me. I hate that self checkout is now 10 items or less. Always have to wait in HUGE ass lines every. Single. Time. Do better target. And please get some more hand-baskets because there's also NEVER any available. I have cats so I always have to buy multiple little cans of food for them for the week. Carlos in technology was so amazing with his customer service. He was very attentive and helpful to me and my husband as we shopped for a tv. Well, earlier today... I chose to venture out to a local TARGET here in Alhambra for a recon mission to size up the availability of supplements and extra school essentials for the niece's and nephew's. One can not have enough erasers and pencils or liquid paper and perhaps some frivolous items?? It's TARGET, so how much could we be talking about? I found my soon to be needed supplements and continued to migrate deeper into the store... I have not been out like this since well before we lost my mom unexpectedly. I find myself in the girls' department, and for some reason, I can't help but search for school incidentals that my niece's might need, unknowingly. I gather a few items and find myself migrating towards the checkout, but something fun caught my eye... as I enter the department on display, I discovered a tote that seems to have been crafted from either authentic wild Muppet pelts or wild Teddy bears skins ... meh... mayhaps even umm FRAGGEL fur? (10 extra bonus points if you get the reference) OK, what other colors does this come in? OK, another successful outing of pillaging for essentials. Thanks everyone, have a great weekend! This location is its own standalone Target store with private parking so there's lots of spaces around. The store is clean and organized with lots of interior lighting. After the renovation, they really upgraded the amenities. It has all the additional service areas that you would like to find in a Target store: Starbucks, CVS Pharmacy, and a grocery section. My favorite thing about this location is that there are a lot of self checkout stands with an attentive target employee helping out as needed. They've been able to help me price match with other stores or use coupons on some occasions. The baby section is always restocking with ready to use or powder formula, which makes this my go to place for newborn food. I usually have my Target app pulled up while in store in case there are any in-store discounts or need help finding where a certain item is located in the aisles. read more

The store has disgusting restrooms, is constantly understaffed, and constantly has managers being on their phones instead of helping customers waiting in line. And instead of getting off of their phone and hopping on a register to help out the line, they start calling on a walkie-talkie to beg for back up when they can just hop on the register and help themselves. It's really ridiculous. I've seen this multiple times where they do this time and time again When they themselves can just hop on a register for 10 minutes and clear the line..a multimillion dollar company and they can't afford to staff better. My child who just turned 2, got lost and tried to look for me - the 2 security guards at the front door, along with the several employees there also at the front door, and those he passed while walking by the cash registers, did not see a 2 year old walk out the store by himself. (He wore a yellow shirt so he could definitely be seen a mile away) When I approached security about it, he said "oh my bad" and held no accountability ... but he wasn't doing anything but talking to another employee while it all happened. So much could've gone wrong, especially during these times. Not to mention - the lines are always long here. I'll make the drive further to another store in the future. read more

Went to find something specific for my mother. There was a line at the pharmacy so I decided to wait, just to ask where to find it. The pharmacy clerk was being VERY rude to the gentleman ahead of me..that man walked off and I proceeded to ask about the product I was seeking. The clerk looks at me and says, " Ask a Target employee!"....another clerk said the same thing!! So they are working all day in front of these aisles, knowing very well what's in them but refuse to help shoppers with info? Cleanest, most organized "Tar-Get" E V E R! The staffs are nice. The Starbucks is clean. There's available parking all day, every day. And the self check out? There's multiple aisles so you can go in and out to get what you need quick. But of course, when you are at Target, you will never just go in for one item. You usually walk out with a full cart. They also added Cvs pharmacy, grocery area is big, and 3 lanes of self checkout registers. All the aisles are clean and organized. Starbucks didn't look open yet. Got really crappy customer from the cashier name Daniela this morning. I bought over a dozen cans of exact brand and flavor cat food and she individually scanned them. Which caused an unnecessary waste of time. Some cans would not scan and she ended up having to use the scan gun. I asked to see the total of cans to be counted on the screen cuz she accidentally scan a can twice when she moved it to the packing area. I asked her why they don't allow total to be entered she simply just answered, "No". She wasn't too happy with my questioning so she purposely left the canned cat foods in the scanned and packing area and only bagged the dry cat food and bath cleaner. Basically, telling me "f-u" with her attitude and action. I'll make sure I avoid using her as a cashier next time I come here. read more

In need of a simple item, unavailable online , I made my way to the nearby Target. Several customers had their masks under the nose, one was roaming without. The biggest issue is that they are remodeling the store and they have put everything and anything anywhere. The vegetables are close to the detergent (! )along the wall and it is impossible to find anything really. Everyone is looking frantically and in covid times , it is not good as you have to stay much longer in the store. The employees don't know where the products are and I was misdirected several times. We don't need this aggravation and I left empty handed to try my luck elsewhere. This is a HUGE Target with an excellent selection of items! However, online prices at target.com are different than store prices. You won't find in store sale prices online and that was my biggest disappointment. Other than that this store is sparklingly clean, well organized, and fully stocked. The checkout process is simple as is the in store pick up. If you use your Target Red card you receive a 5% discount on select purchases. Sprawling, spacious, and modern. Everything is new and shiny and only small portions of the store were chaotically disorganized. This is like shopping in a machine. Everything is so well thought out and convenient. I didn't even mind the self checkout because there were so many employees around if you got stuck. I did a pick up order for my last purchase and I was notified that every item was ready for pick up in which I drove all the way to this location the next day.. only to have them tell me that one of the items were cancelled due to "technical issues." This is the SECOND time that this location has done this to me. The target worker said it was "probably out of stock." If the item was not in stock, why process the order as if it was completed and waiting for me to pick up! I do not appreciate that. Everyone is usually nice here but having this happen twice now, I won't be returning. Usually we are given the option to change pick up locations etc. I have 2 young children. Allowing me to do pick ups is such a convenient way of shopping. But when it is not being taken seriously, just to make a sale, is infuriating. There is NO time to waste when you have children... now I have to make another drive to a different location when I could have done that from the start if given that option! -Very unsatisfied customer read more

We came to the self check out at 10:50 AM on Friday 10/13/2023 and an employee told us to leave the check out since it's only 10 items or less. We had 11 items in our cart at the time and the self check out had no line, in fact half of them were open. We were forced into the lines that took 3x longer. We saw others checking out with more items than we did at self check out and they did not have that rule enforced on them. There is no logical reason to waste our time when self check out was available with no line. There are no signs for 10 items or less, why is it enforced on some customers and not others, especially when there is no wait or line. Wasted our time. read more

This store is absolutely terrible. There are a lot of empty shelves. The last five times that I wanted something from Target, I checked online and every time they said it was stock on the Alhambra store but when I went there on five separate occasions, I could not find the item. It is almost impossible to find anyone to ask and four out of the five times, the staff member that I asked were unable to help me and said they would be right back but they never came back. I waited over twenty minutes each time. The fifth time, the staff member just said that they don't have the item I was looking for and that what it says in line is not right most of the time. This is just a terrible terrible store and they staff are so lazy and rude. Target is going down hill quickly. read more

Been waiting for a box of diapers at drive up for 35 min now. I have only seen 1 person working. The lot is full. However, this isn't the first time. Not only that but they'll then ask you to close out the app to restart a new code. Idk if it's because it expires (I would've see how) or to protect their brand in wait time but if I'm asked to I won't. I've had to wait many times. This is my favorite Target location. Unlike other Target locations, find parking is simple since the parking wraps around the building. I usually park to the side of the building which is usually empty and I have no problems finding a shopping cart. What I like about this location is that there is a food section where I can grab popcorn or a quick bite. In addition, there is Starbucks located inside too if I am in desperate need for coffee/tea. As far as the inventory, I usually can find everything I need in this location. I highly recommend just ordering what you need and then go pick up at the store within 2 hours to help you save time. Your items can be picked up at guest services which is located to the left of the entrance. The line is usually short and it's also convenient that they have 2 separate lines: Returns/Store pick up. Returns are also easy as well. The self check out is the way to go. There is also a staff there to help if you run into issues. Overall the staff here is friendly and helpful. It's not hard to find someone to help you since they have enough employees staffed to run the store. If you ever run into issues, the staff are trained to help troubleshoot and help resolve the issue in a timely manner. I always walk out of the store with a pleasant experience. read more

Even thou I don't go to target a-lot I think Target is a very nice store they pretty much everything now. The Reason of my visit was to bring my grandkids to pick some toys to reward them for doing an excellent good job at their school they booth got the tiger woods student of the week so proud of them they had so much fun here at target looking at all the toys and selections of books. While my husband was in the men department this target pretty big has bis selection of everything. Shoes, cloth, household essentials I liked their big selection of gift cards. Well recommended. This place is like a maze!!! I come here fairly often, but I still don't know my way around. Target has everything ranging from diapers, to makeup, to food! I come here for my everyday needs and sometime groceries. The only thing I dislike about this target is that items are never restocked! Refer to my pictures. I was amazed how the employees knew where everything was. There are plenty of parking. Be careful entering and exiting because people will cut you off! I love the hours here.
