We devoured everything so quickly I forgot to take a pic. We ordered the kids taco combo, hard shell tacos and carne asada burrito with rice and beans. The hard shell tacos were my favorite! You know a place is good if the beans are good... and the beans were perfection. The tortilla from the burrito tasted handmade. That's also a tell tale sign of a great authentic Mexican restaurant. Been on the hunt for good burritos. Tried TJ twice this week. First time had their Carne Asada burrito and it was good and filling. Just tried their Chili Relleno burrito and it was disappointing. One of my favorite quick local Mexican cuisine spots. Always consistent in stomach craving fulfillment. Just tried 4 street tacos; 1 pastor, 1 fish and 2 asada. Pastor will be a "pass-more". Didn't taste authentic and pretty dry. Asada was full of flavor. A little too much onion though. Brushed some aside and became perfect. The fish taco was amazing. Today, I got the 2 fish taco combo plate(#28), which comes with rice, beans, and to my surprise, some tortilla chips as well. Everything was so fresh and delicious. When they say "Grande burrito", they mean it. It's HUGE. We split a machaca, beans, and chorizo. In retrospect, we only should have ordered 1 meat. I can't tell if the chorizo was very mild, or they just put in more machaca. Either way, the flavor was mild. I think it was a more traditional flavor, which was reinforced when I saw abuelita in the kitchen. This seems to be a family place with abuelita (grandma) cooking, and the granddaughter manning the register and drive-thru window. In my opinion, you're much more likely to get authentic food there. If we manage to get here again, I will get just one meat so I can judge the flavor better. But the flavor was nice, and the portion was very large. read more

UPDATE: This was our 3rd visit. The food is exceptional, but they always forget to give us part of our order at the drive-thru. First, it was an entire meal--1 of our 4 meals simply wasn't in the bag. Since it is a 30-minute drive for us from home, we couldn't justify another hour in the car to go pick up 1 meal. There are two locations. This one is great because it has a drive through. Food is great too but sadly the taller lady with the fake eyelashes and tattoos needs an attitude adjustment. Ordered via drive through and everything was good until the food arrived. It took longer than normal which is fine. No greeting, basically just threw the food at me after I paid. Was going to ask for my receipt but just left. If you're in a bad mood, I get it but you're in the service industry. At least fake it. I'll just go to the other location instead. The food is AMAZING. The time and effort from the staff needs to be worked on. The main cashier : Ashley, gives THE WORST ATTITUDE from taking your order to cashing out. And has the AUDACITY to ask for a tip. But the food is so worth the wait, the food is hot and just is what makes up for the horrible tone the cashier feeds. Came here with a co-worker who said this place was good. This place was awesome!!!! I ordered the bistec ranchero and it was delicious. Honestly, it's the best one I have had in a while. The steak and sauce was flavorful but not over powering. The rice was fluffy and had a wonderful taste and the refried beans were fresh and tasted great. The server was friendly and the food arrived quickly for lunch. I also dig the vibe inside it has a cool retro feel combined with a traditional Mexican feeling with the paintings on the wall and.....it's clean!!! I ordered #38, 2 fish tacos and 2 carne asada tacos, and my bf ordered #3, a shredded beef burrito smothered in red sauce combo. First of all, the orange sauce on the fish tacos is PHENOMENAL *chef's kiss* and the taco is huge! The smothered burrito was meaty and cheesy as it should be and WOW the BEANS!! I am not a fan of refried beans and there is only ONE place in Yuma, AZ that makes the BEST refried beans but WOW Taquitos Jalisco's beans are on the same level!!!! Ordered 5 steak, 3 tongue, 3 head and 3 shrimp tacos. Total was just under 61.00. Unfortunately, the steak and tongue were over cooked and dry. The head tacos were tender and moist but, no seasoning. Salt would have have done wonders! The shrimp tacos were very good. Plump and snappy when you bit into them. A lot of sauce. 5 medium size shrimp. A little over a dollar a shrimp @ 5.75 a taco. I really love the flavor of the carne asada meat here. The one on Gilbert and Broadway is the best. They have a very big menu and highly recommend to come here and check it out. Food is usually good. The issue I have is the service and amount of time to actually get your food. Over an hr and a half to do hard shelled tacos, 1 kids meal, 1 combo plate and 5 rolled tacos. Called in over the phone and they initially couldn't find it, then was told they'd have it in 5mins. Our concepts of 5 minutes must be very different. For the last 10 years, every week Ive ordered the same thing every time. I always order 2 bean burrito no cheese add Anaheim peppers. For 10 years they were amazing , couldn't beat it, always taste great and get a good amount of food for the price. However this past Saturday night I ordered the same thing I normally do and this time, no peppers, it came with cheese and a good amount of someone's hair. And it almost seemed intentional.
