Terrific Authentic Spanish food Great spot for people watching Nice wine list Great service Went there for a dinner and were on the waitlist. We got lucky as a table for 4 opened up so we were seated quickly. Great service with staff taking orders and explaining food and wine list. Share most dishes as some have allergies. They were very accommodating. See the pictures for a description. Iberico was a hit! Prawns nice size. Potato was loaded! Beans were great. Just a little tough. Great olives e cheese plater. I highly recommend this place.

This location is just on the edge of Borough market. The interior is cozy with table seating as well as high tops. Food: Peppers, ham croquettes, squid ink rice, and patatas bravas were decent. Shrimp was delicious. Steak was sinewy and hard to slice even with a sharp steak knife. Cost: £92 for three of us. Service: Friendly and efficient.

This place is abuzz and when you step in, it is obvious why. The wafting aromas tease you with delight. We waited 30-40 minutes for a table and were famished which explains why fewer photos. No one in our party wanted to wait.

Items that stood out Orange blossom honey with fried goat cheese Plump juicy tasty shrimp Pine nuts, shallots, golden raisin topping for broccoli The peppers could have been crispier The mussels didn't stand out Conveniently outside Borough's market

My friend and I ate dinner here after going to a show at the globe theater. We sat outside and they were heaters above us which made it really comfortable. The weight staff was fabulous and the food was delicious. Salad was a little bland and I had a white sangria which was nothing to write home about. The olives were amazing and so was the chorizo (only a touch spicy). Overall I would say this place is a great find and I would definitely go back again.

Tapas Brindisa is hard to miss, it stands boldly on the corner of the street and is usually buzzing with people. That made me and a friend wonder in to try what the hype was about. The service was good given how busy the place was. The food quality was ok and so was the sangria. We ordered a mix of tapas from seafood to veggie sides. The food loses a star for me given the quality you would expect from Spanish tapa food and the ambiance loss the other star since it was so crowded you can barely get through the spaces to the restrooms and the poor staff struggles to get by with all the food and drinks.

The food and service were superb!! Must try the Iberico pork. We stumbled upon this little gem when walking through the Borough Market, and we were all blown away by the quality and taste of every dish!

After enjoying so many wonderful tapa's in Spain , Spanish Tapas served in a London square right off the market area sounded exciting but unfortunately the Tapa's we tried were hit or miss. We started with a cocktail & some basic cava. First up , the padron peppers and they were rockstar! Then we order the rest of our items and they all come out together at once in about 5 minutes. Only saw the waitress once more after that, because they brought one incorrect dish. The fresh tomato salad with roasted hazelnuts was possibly one of the best I have had but the bread ( pan) & the truffle mushroom rice (risotto) were blah, boring and dry. The fried goat cheese with supposedly an egg & drizzled with honey was nice. Overall only a 50/50 experience.

Brindisa is a lively and authentic tapas restaurant located in the heart of Borough Market. My friend and I arrived on a Thursday evening and waited for around an hour. They don't take reservations here, so be prepared for a queue during peak hours. Of all the dishes we ordered, I enjoyed the black rice the most. Its texture was superbly smooth, complemented by the crunchiness of the fried squid. A close second were the Padrón peppers, simply grilled with just a dash of sea salt.

All the foods here we tried was amazing. The pork dish was so tender and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful in giving some suggestions. I would skip the sausage on toast (way too salty) and skip the bruschetta (nothing special). Go for the pork steak in bacon and the chicken with mushrooms. Those 2 dishes were phenomenal.

The concept as well as the taste and portions of the food was ideal! This place gets packed and the reason is obvious. Food comes out pretty quick; Just as fast as it get to the table it is gone. Flavor couldn't be any better and they have a good menu full of options.

I happened upon this lovely restaurant on the edge of Borough Market. I was feeling for an indoor, seated service place. The tapas selections were wide ranging. I recently spent time with vegetarians on this business trip and was aware of the multiple selections the menu offered. As a ardent carnivore, it also has items for me. The dishess came out fast and fresh. My favorites wwere the huevos Rotos Con Sobrasada and the croquettes de jamon.

Boring, tasteless, uninspired, so-called food. Cold over-sauced pan con tomate. Bland.

This was probably my favorite restaurant while visiting. My absolute favorite tapa was the tuna tartar tostadas. We also got the lamb, albondigas, and sliders. We didn't leave a crumb! My sister and her husband also ordered the hummus tostadas, roasted cauliflower, and grilled carrots. She's not the biggest tapas fan so I was so glad she enjoyed the food as well. We got a pitcher of red sangria to add to the experience and ended dinner with the Pan de Elote, which was quite the crowd pleaser. The restaurant is definitely in the "it" part of the city, lots of foot traffic and so many things going on around the place. The setup is real cool too. We sat at the bar, which is right in front of the kitchen so you get to watch as the cooks prepare the dishes. The service was real fast too. It is a bit on the pricey side, but if you don't mind splurging a bit, it's definitely worth trying!

I was alone so booked a hightop at the bar so I didn't take a table. It was a pre-theater reservation, but had plenty of time so there was no rush. Ordered a cocktail, then a second and a glass of wine with dinner, but they brought the cocktail and wine at the same time. btw, the glass of wine that was supposed to be 175ml was definitely NOT close to that amount. I ordered three plates (it's tapas-style). All the food was amazing, but the pacing was just off. They brought two of the plates right away but the third didn't come until I had finished the first two. But the thing that really left a bad taste in my mouth was getting the check and the waiter trying to bully me into having another drink. I politely said no but he wouldn't give up, saying "c'mon the night is young" and "c'mon you know you want another" etc. Dude, I said no multiple times and I just spent $150 (£110) on a solo dinner, do you really think it's a good idea to try to push me into ordering another drink? The other little complaints wouldn't have even registered with me, and this could easily be 4, and maybe 5 stars. But at these prices, I don't expect to be bullied/shamed when trying to pay my check and makes me think the other problems with pacing and size of the pour might be normal here too.

Even the location is a bit out of the way, so if you're not already in the area, there's no reason to seek it out. The menu does boast a varied selection of meat, veggie, and fish-centered tapas, but not all of them are always available; even the drinks I was curious about were "out of stock," so I ended up having to go with their cheap wine, which made me wish I'd stuck with water. The food itself - while not bad - left something to be desired. Temperature and flavor-wise, it was all just "meh." The menu itself also lacks originality, so the fact that they were missing a portion of it just adds insult to injury. Perhaps it was because we were there on a Sunday evening looking for a quick dinner, but the service also felt forced and uninterested. And, for some odd reason, my friend and I felt hungrier when we left than when we went in. All-in-all, I found nothing here that made me want to come back.
