Okay if you come to london you HAVE to come here. Raquel and her team is absolutely amazing. The quality of drinks as well as food is insane , The pork belly taco is to DIE for. They were such a genuine family type of service. Something that can be rare in these parts. You can tell they are all family oriented and absolutely believe in quality, We are from arizona in the US and travel often and this has been an amazing experience for us. Thanks again !!

Blue cheese salad, pon con tomate, wine snd cecina de leon.

We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and wait staff at this restaurant. The salad was really fresh, light and full of flavor. We also had the pon con tomate, which was light and very fresh. We shared the blue cheese salad and then topped it with the cecina de leon. Great mix of flavors. The only thing that we were perplexed about was the kikos. By the description of the corn, it leads you to believe it's like fresh corn and barbecued. But it's actually corn nuts. We thought it was an appetizer like chips and salsa. When we told her they forgot the kikos, she explained it was the "corn nuts". Since we didn't even eat them, she took them off the bill. One of our best meals while In London. Oh, and a nice selection of wines, with the Malbec being our fav.

Cheek pork tacos: delicious! Pork melted as I was eating it

I usually don't walk into a restaurant without checking Yelp. However, I was walking on Maiden Ln and this place looked nice. Since I was traveling by myself, I wanted a place I could sit at the bar. I'm glad I did. The staff was super nice and I even talked to the chef which made the experience even better. They were very accommodating, there was a couple in a rush to get to the theater and they were super nice about it. The food was great. I had the octopus ceviche send on a "tostada", the sesame oil added a nice flavor as well as the fish eggs (like caviar but cheaper and lighter). The pork cheek tacos were delicious, the pork melted as I was eating it. The popular "tortilla" was a little plain but I added some salt and pepper and that worked. I even had their jalapeño olives and they were great--- don't worry, they were not super spicy (if you're used to spicy food). The wine was great too. I had the albariño. Overall, great place to come with friends, dates or even by yourself.

I went with high expectations, but was slightly disappointed. I would give it 3.5 stars, to be fair. Food was good overall. We had potatoes, octopus ceviche, pork belly, pulled pork sliders and chorizo. The biggest issue for me was that they seemed quite bland -- no distinctive personality. Also, the portions were surprisingly small for the price, even by tapas standards. Service was very good. All staff members were friendly and prompt. Ambience was also cozy and hip -- not as posh or straight-laced as some other tapas restaurants I've been to. Do note, though, that the place is quite small and can get noisy at times.

We were looking for a friendly place to enjoy one for the road after dinner. We were tempted to join old faithfuls like Big Easy or La Perla when we spotted Condesa. A lovely small bar promising a less noisy end to the night. The fact that we didn't stick to one cocktail says it all, and I'd be glad to return for a taste of their delicious sounding dishes. Not sure which came first, but I this reminded me of the original Fernandez & Wells in Soho and I even thought the two were related - a compliment to both in this case.

Went here for dinner last night. Fabulous service and such a fun atmosphere. Very small, but it's all you need for delicious Spanish cuisine. We had a carafe of rose which was very affordability priced and refreshing for a hot evening. We then had a mixed cheese board, mixed meat board, bbq corn nuts and a tomato bread. The tomato bread was out of this world fresh! So incredibly simple but just perfection. Will continue to return to Condesa!

Excellent place to meet friends. Attentive but not intrusive staff. Freshly cooked food with great selection of tapas. Wine delicious. Relaxed atmosphere and you can watch the chef and sit at the bar! Would recommend to small groups as pretty small but makes for a very cosy evening

Good food. Good atmosphere. Great for pre-theater or just as a destination in its own right.

The staff works beautifully together even with the limited space in their cooking area. It was like watching surgeons work together.....bravo to them all for providing such wonderful service and making each dish a standout. Open air kitchen where the grilling is done counter side. Fresh fish galore (it's on ice within eye view) the fish is selected and grilled based on order. This tapas hot spot should be top on your list of places to eat. Sharing plates is all the lure of these dishes. I have never been a fan of peppers but these grilled padron peppers with oil and sea salt were superb. The ribeye cap was bought to use with a large serving spoon it was beyond tender (yes the spoon was adequate to cut this succulent meat). It took barely any effort to chew since it was so perfectly prepared. The grilled octopus with paprika was the phenomenal. We should have ordered a second serving, it was a real palette teaser. The prawns were a lot of work and extremely hot, they were bought straight out the skillet to table so pack on the patience removing the shell. The mini meatballs along with the grilled squid with ink sauce is a must try when selecting items from the menu. Don't leave without ordering the flan, it was probably the best I ever tasted. Thank you for a memorable birthday dinner, Barrafina gets a 10 out of 10 from me.

(It was kind of hard to find with maps being misleading). Was it awful and no one had the heart to review? Our fears were put to rest when we found the place, and got our meal! Everything was delicious, and the bright blue burger bun was festive. The crack and cheese was as addictive as it sounded! Be mindful when you order - you won't likely need as much as the menu recommends (if you do, you can always order more) and they don't seem to be ready for taking items home (though they found a creative and effective solution for us)!

We stumbled across this place in our research and I particularly loved the idea of a unique take on traditional British dishes, so we decided to give it a shot. The place itself has a great decor and made a for a nice, romantic date night - nicely lit by candles adding a nice touch. We were waited on primarily by William, who turned out to be one of the owners, and he was very sweet and an absolute delight. The food - literally everything we had was incredible. The wild boar, game & apple croquettes were so perfectly cooked with the slightest bit of sweetness and came set atop a sauce that was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend loves scotch eggs, and was a little hesitant about a quail scotch egg as well as trying black pudding for the first time - and he wanted to order about 3 more. Following those, we also got the lamb, the crack & cheese, the truffle & parmesan fries, and the wagyu/bone marrow burger, all to share. The lamb was cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. The burger was the one of the juiciest and flavorful burgers that I'd ever have - definitely don't be put off by the blue bun! It just added to how unique it was. The crack and cheese was a bit on the soupier side, but it was delicious, and perfect for dipping french fries into after you've eaten the macaroni. I'm not sure why this place doesn't have more reviews - it's a very cool place with delicious food. I highly recommend this place - I would suggest going out of your way to check this place out. The owner also has a fantastic cocktail lounge that he recommended - Looking Glass Lounge - as it was right by our AirBnB, and that was a great experience as well (but that's for a different review).
