Chicken and seafood mix paella -- it's HUGE!
    Patricia G.

Went here for seafood paella and was not disappointed! Ordered the seafood paella and the chicken and seafood mix paella about an hour prior to our reservation, as it takes about 45 minutes to prepare. Aside from the paella, also got a glass of red wine sangria (a fruity, housemade delight!) as well as some tapas, including a cauliflower and bok choy dish, tomato and toasty bread/bruschetta, and the rib eye. It was all super delish! The paella came out about 20-30 minutes after we sat down and I have to say I really didn't care for the seafood/chicken mix (with assorted veggies). The seafood paella was super yummy and definitely stole the show! The service was pretty swift and the staff was attentive and very friendly. Would definitely come back here when I'm back in London to check out the other tapas and get a pitcher of the sangria!

    Amazing choices!

Sometimes... you get to a new town and you find the restaurant magic. We did here at Iberica. We sat outside on a wonderful night and First off Claire was our server and we really loved her suggestions and service. She suggested the Crotecas... their signature tapas and oh my goodness. Ham and cheese never tasted so good. We also tried the Cecina cured meat and it was the best I have ever tasted. We ordered a few more tapas like the twice cooked lamb and the vermouth mussels and that with a bottle of spanish red wine sent us over the edge. It is a wonderful restaurant in the patio and inside.

The Iberica and cheese selection were fabulous. I got 12-24-48 month Iberica and those are so melting till the last bite. The cheese is so well accompanied with the wine. Didn't I mention about the craving dessert and the best ever croquettes Definitely the best Spanish tapas bar in London

This was an interesting location. When we around on the first floor we looked around and had find out where everyone was located. The bartender informed us they were only serving food upstairs. As we made our way up the narrow stairs, the lights and sounds finally hit us. We were greeted and quickly seated. The food was ok, the time of delivery of the different dishes was off. We ordered everything at the beginning but got one dish and everything else at once later. There wasn't much room on the table for the dishes. The food was ok, I was a little disappointed with food. I have had better Tapas before.

Paella is smashing. Takes 40 min to prepare so order it first.

I've literally spent thousands of £ here. I make a point of coming every time I'm in London. Food is fresh, taste and different. Staff are always helpful, non-pretentious and friendly. Just come here. They do do something I didn't like.... added a £ to my bill for charity. I'm a generous guy just object to being it forced on me.

A table full of food - good times!

Great spot, felt like a little piece is Spain. Felt like a chain franchise which held back a 5star for me

It was the best tapas, jamon platter and seafood paella (all in one restaurant!) we have had since our trip to Madrid many many moons ago.

Listen. 53 years a Londoner. Born and bred. Never been to…read moreBattersea. Not once for anything. Spied the power station from the safety of the north side of the dividing line. Marvelled at the bigness. But never plucked up the courage to dive in and doggy paddle over. No tube station, no chance. And then the other day a mate suggested we meet for a bite there. Battersea? How the fuck am I going to get there? Butterfly wings? Hire an oarsman? The missus consulted google maps and here for you now I have a London life hack that might just change where you eat forever. Battersea, it turns out, is a mere 15 minute walk from Sloane Square. Yes that's right. Sloane Square and Battersea are connected by one straight road with a bridge. The bridge has no trolls and you don't require a rope to traverse it. It's stable. You can walk over it. And when we did, we didn't melt like the Nazi in Raiders. The walk is pleasant. The monolithic destination is unmissable. And the arrival is quite the eye opener. Because Battersea is not some industrial wasteland. Not a kind of food refugee camp with trailers and tents for restaurants. It's all been built and paved and signed and everything. And it's alive. With bars, restaurants, offices and, check this, flats. People LIVE there. With a marvellous view of the side of London they would like to live on one day and a bridge to get them there and all the sustenance they need in the meantime. Brindisa is a smart, modern, new tapas bar selling all the old favourites to a young, buzzy crowd. The menu is divided into egg, grill, braised, cheese and sweet and true to the word of tapas, there's something for everyone. Tortilla, patatas bravas, king prawns, chorizo on toast, asparagus with romesco sauce, lemon chicken thighs and some squid ink croquettes were all dispatched in a timely and tasty manner. Nothing outrageously good or daring or special, the food isn't necessarily the star of the show although the asparagus was plenty moreish and everything went down well enough. But the place itself has life. Inside is noisy with sarf London chatter and it opens to outside seating which gives you views of old father Thames and the brand spanking newly cleaned up power station. Pretty special stuff. A wonderful aspect for a bit of Spanish scran and a catch up with friends. It's a whole new village, a sort of food festival but without the free nibbles. That said, Brindisa didn't break the bank and the short walk back to Pick and Beck's London masterpiece makes the whole thing rather accessible on all counts. We shall return. Maybe not solely because of Brindisa but no doubt it'll do just fine if we're in a mood to pick and chat. No, we shall return to explore a new London village, gleaming and buzzy with a shit ton of eating and drinking options and a pretty spectacular aspect.

I arrived early morning last week when the shop was being opened, (As a family we always have a…read morejamón leg in our kitchen). I was greeted by a young lady who was very bubbly and began to show me the different jamón legs that were available. I chose one that happened to be £464.00. She was delighted to make the sale and stated that the sale came with a free 'stand' and 'jamón knife'. The young lady wrapped the jamón leg very well indeed and then called someone on the phone to ask about the 'stand & knife'. She then presented me with a 'stand' but said that "the knife was not available today and I would have to return to collect it". The young lady wrote down my phone number and name and stated she would contact me when in. I called the shop today to enquire as it's been a week since the purchase. First a male answered who could barely speak English. He then offered the phone to a female who listened to my query, then asked me to repeat myself three times before she understood what I was saying. Her answer after I had explained was simply, "the young girl who served you was new and should not have offered you the stand and knife". I stated that it was offered to me as part of the sale to which she replied, "I'm sorry there is no knife". Such repugnant service should not be allowed in such an affluent area or any area. Our usual place of purchase is 'Brindisa' Borough Market. I feel cheated having experienced 'Casa Manolo' for the first time. A professional establishment should always honour their word especially after money has been exchanged. Also if you are conducting business in the UK regardless of its ethnicity, just a thought, speak and understand English as there may be customers other than those who are Spanish speaking that may want assistance.
