Are you kidding me! Absolute memory maker!!! Thank you to the amazing staff, Miguel is a gem! Food was unbelievably tasty.

Overall a decent dining experience. Served tapas style. I personally found some of the dishes a bit too salty but tasty nonetheless. The eel rice was pure sodium overload but the tortilla was very savory. The service was a bit underwhelming but we were a bit too hungry and tired to care. Very cute "sit at the counter" type vibe. I'd go back to check out their specials again.

My coworker and I made a reservation for this Barrafina (note there are multiple locations) and we're so glad we did. With limited seating this place was packed. We enjoyed a few of the tapas and thought everything was good if not great. I'd share some recommendations but the menu is constantly changing with what's fresh for the season. By the way service by Charlie was great in a very hectic space.

Made reservations for right when they opened at 5pm. We came in December when it was pretty chilly, at least for us. The main door is on Drury lane, the inside bar seating is nice and warm with hooks under the seating and coat hooks behind you. The staff was very nice and greeted us as soon as we entered. I like the bar seating because it is right in front of where they prepare all the food. The time it took for our food to come out was pretty quick. Everything we had was really good! I especially liked the iberian ribs that just fell off the bone and really nicely seasoned along with the mashed potatoes under it and some crispy potato bits too. Be sure to try some of the specials that they have on the menu! The two we tried were really good and the dessert chocolate tart had a layer of caramel between the chocolate and the tart. It also came with a delicious if not slightly too sweet caramel ice cream. I'd say definitely come early when they open and/or make reservations because they were really busy by the time we left at 6:30 or so

What can I say about this place, except everything! We came here for my birthday dinner while in London. Our service was amazing, our server really went above and beyond. She gave us recommendations, which were all top notch. We had multiple plates, which were all outstanding. We had no complaints over the food or service. I like the only bar seating, because you get to watch the magic happening of the chefs. This is a must go to restaurant if you are ever in London. Definitely would make reservations to go and come with an empty stomach!

Came here for dinner on the first night of my most recent trip with Mom! I made a res in advance but got there earlier around 5:30 and was able to still get seats, though it was away from the counter where you could typically see them making the food. We ordered the potatas bravas, seafood rice, ham & cheese croquettes, and lamb special. Really enjoyed the croquettes and seafood rice. So flavorful and cooked well. The potatas bravas had too much sauce to my liking and made the potatoes soggy if you didn't eat them fast enough. The lamb was fine but nothing spectacular. Enjoyed the ambiance a lot - kinda like a homey counter style diner except they serve Spanish tapas. Service was friendly.

Highly recommend this place. Everything we had was absolutely fantastic. I don't even know what we ordered because we used the recommendations from our waiter and he didn't steer us wrong. I can't remember what type of fish but it was the whole fish and comfortably fed 2 of us. We were very pleased with everything we had. Definitely order about 5 things to share so you can try more items.

Long overdue review. This place is located in the Soho area and is a relatively small restaurant with very limited seats. They have around 15-20 counter-only seats. I can't recall if they allow you to make reservations or not. But if they do, I strongly recommend making a reservation ahead of time. We waited for an hour or so to be seated. They serve non traditional, more modern type tapas dishes. We opted for a few popular dishes that the server recommended, most of the tapas we had were decent. I particularly liked their squid ink rice (Arroz Negro), the texture of the rice and the flavor were on point. Pork belly was tender and well-cooked, skin was crispy but I probably wouldn't order that again. The only complaint would be the oysters, they were on the briny side but served a bit warm and slightly fishy for our liking. As for the drinks, I enjoyed my sangria. All in all, it's a very cute spot! A modern Spanish restaurant located in the heart of covent garden. Ambiance is good. Location is just perfect. It's one of the most popular restaurants in Soho right now. Def worth a try in London!

We came as a large group and ordered a bunch of stuff. - squid ink rice, very evenly seasoned/dressed - croquetas, chicken and ham - Spanish tortillas, best part is there's a runny egg with the seafood inside - pork belly bun were the more memorable ones The food here is fine, it's not "bad" by any means. But for the price it's not worth it in my mind. I think this place would be good for a corp event - large space and expensed :p

We were in London for 9 days and this was one of the best meals we had. I took the advice of another reader and ordered a couple daily specials. We went to the Adelaide Street location (it's down the block from an area where they were giving out free food to homeless people). Not the best location with so many homeless walking around. They didn't bother us. Just be warned. - jambon iberico (9/10) - special- crab croquettes (7/10)- crab was too mushy - special- red millet friture- (10/10)- outstanding - pan con tomate (9/10) - fully covered in yummy tomatoes - gambas rojas (10/10) - the best and sweetest shrimp we have ever had in our lives - arroz con mariscos- (8/10)- very good but not outstanding -milk fed kidney and pork cheek (6/10)- the cheeks were enormous and we were full. A little dry) We will definitely be back.

Such a cute spot with counter-only seating, which keeps the environment intimate. It was late afternoon and we needed a bite to tide us over until dinner, so we were able to grab 2 seats. The service was quick and friendly and the hardest part was not stuffing ourselves! - ham and cheese croquetas: piping hot and deliciously creamy on the inside. was tempted to order another round as soon as we took the first bite. - tomatos and sardines: the tomatoes were flavorful and made me feel like I was picking them out at a market or farm. combined with the sardines and red onions it was a perfectly savory and salty bite. - wild mushrooms: a delicious variety of mushrooms that were topped with 2 jammy eggs and a sauce that was reminiscent of gravy but not as thick. mushrooms and eggs separately are some of my favorite building blocks so this dish was heaven for me! - chorizo special with roasted potatoes: the meat was deliciously spiced and paired perfectly with the potatoes and what I believe was a light mustard sauce. deceptively hearty for it's small size! If you find yourself walking around London and happen across one of the 3 locations stop in for a bite!

This was probably my favorite restaurant while visiting. My absolute favorite tapa was the tuna tartar tostadas. We also got the lamb, albondigas, and sliders. We didn't leave a crumb! My sister and her husband also ordered the hummus tostadas, roasted cauliflower, and grilled carrots. She's not the biggest tapas fan so I was so glad she enjoyed the food as well. We got a pitcher of red sangria to add to the experience and ended dinner with the Pan de Elote, which was quite the crowd pleaser. The restaurant is definitely in the "it" part of the city, lots of foot traffic and so many things going on around the place. The setup is real cool too. We sat at the bar, which is right in front of the kitchen so you get to watch as the cooks prepare the dishes. The service was real fast too. It is a bit on the pricey side, but if you don't mind splurging a bit, it's definitely worth trying!

I was alone so booked a hightop at the bar so I didn't take a table. It was a pre-theater reservation, but had plenty of time so there was no rush. Ordered a cocktail, then a second and a glass of wine with dinner, but they brought the cocktail and wine at the same time. btw, the glass of wine that was supposed to be 175ml was definitely NOT close to that amount. I ordered three plates (it's tapas-style). All the food was amazing, but the pacing was just off. They brought two of the plates right away but the third didn't come until I had finished the first two. But the thing that really left a bad taste in my mouth was getting the check and the waiter trying to bully me into having another drink. I politely said no but he wouldn't give up, saying "c'mon the night is young" and "c'mon you know you want another" etc. Dude, I said no multiple times and I just spent $150 (£110) on a solo dinner, do you really think it's a good idea to try to push me into ordering another drink? The other little complaints wouldn't have even registered with me, and this could easily be 4, and maybe 5 stars. But at these prices, I don't expect to be bullied/shamed when trying to pay my check and makes me think the other problems with pacing and size of the pour might be normal here too.

Even the location is a bit out of the way, so if you're not already in the area, there's no reason to seek it out. The menu does boast a varied selection of meat, veggie, and fish-centered tapas, but not all of them are always available; even the drinks I was curious about were "out of stock," so I ended up having to go with their cheap wine, which made me wish I'd stuck with water. The food itself - while not bad - left something to be desired. Temperature and flavor-wise, it was all just "meh." The menu itself also lacks originality, so the fact that they were missing a portion of it just adds insult to injury. Perhaps it was because we were there on a Sunday evening looking for a quick dinner, but the service also felt forced and uninterested. The food was incredible. It is described as Peruvian/Mexican small plates, everything seems to be small plates in London these days but I'm not complaining, I like trying a few things. My first course was a crispy duck and pomegranate salad. Fantastic. The duck wasn't particularly crispy but it was plentiful and a little healthier without having a lot of skin. Pomegranates were plentiful and it definitely had some spice to it, which made me forget it was a salad. My favorite dish was short rib soft tacos. I can't describe the flavor, just a lot of wonderful flavor and beautiful short rib meat. I then had Mexican style asparagus. Also great, served on a stick (I am partial to food on a stick). Nicely grilled and with a strong but tasty sauce. Last dish was pisco-glazed smoked paprika ribs. Nice sized portion, tasty ribs. Had to try dessert and that is what put this meal over the top. I had Esfera de Chocolate, described as warm chocolate doughnuts served with dulce de leche ice cream and caramelized pistachios. Incredible. The doughnuts were actually fried pastries with a warm chocolate interior. Loved the pistachios and the ice cream went well with the warm chocolate. Food was great but almost took a star away because when I checked in, was given a Set Menu flyer for the restaurant. When I asked to have the set menu, was told it was not offered at this time. Checked the flyer again and it does not show any time or other limitations. I found it very much bait and switch but the awesome food allows me to forgive them this time. Still not a classy move.
