My friends & I reserve one of the tables on the screened patio to enjoy the breeze, the fellow partiers and the beats - ranging from reggaeton, classic hip hop & even salsa. The DJ even played my 'anthem' #iykyk for my liquid courage encouraged :) rendition. Our service was pretty timely, and the hostess helpful in accommodating some last minute changes in reservations. We enjoyed their $25 unlimited brunch mimosas, along with various items from their menu. My order was their yummy hangover burger "a caballo" (with the fried egg), as well as sampling some of my friends' dishes such as chicken wings, and even salad bites. Never really realized how good Tap 42 is until recently. Absolutely loved the salmon zen bowl and the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. I have to be careful because the egg rolls are addicting and I don't want to over indulge until I start hating them lol very casual atmosphere but can still be nice if you decide to get dresssy. Service is almost always quick and the servers are always friendly. The drunken goat burger is my favorite (not pictured). If you like lamb, I'd definitely reccommend it! read more

The food here is always amazing, I go for the burgers mainly on .Monday because of the five dollar off specials, the servers are completely awesome. They're always knowledgeable about everything. In the store, i like to go after work. Because the vibe there is always amazing. My family and I came to tap 42 to celebrate my cousin's college graduation. When making the reservations, it was very easy and the hosts were very accommodating. Once majority of our party arrived, we were able to be seated. When you have a large party, tap 42 midtown can offer outdoor patio seating or a back area that has 2 long tables to accommodate over 10+ people. Our waiters for the evening were very nice, accommodating, and efficient. They handled our large party very well and gave great suggestions. We ordered the guacamole and chips, chicken lettuce wraps, and calamari. Everything tasted amazing, especially the calamari. Thick long pieces of calamari fried to a nice crisp paired with a sweet chili sauce on the side was perfect. Also, their drinks are crafted very nicely. We ordered the lychee martini which had the perfect blend of sweetness and alcohol to where it wasn't overpowering. Also during brunch hours, tap 42 has a DJ that kept the vibes up and create a nice atmosphere for everyone. The food was so very good. The chicken and waffles had lots of flavor but the waffles for me were a little hard, maybe due to them being Belgian style. But overall the service was amazing!
