The Ribeye Green Curry was delicious! The curry was on the thinner side but tasted really fresh and had good, subtle coconut and spicy notes. I loved the steak, eggplants, Brussels sprouts, and bamboo shoots in the curry, which elevated the dish to another level. The Ka-ree Koong's curry was egg-based and very rich, comforting, and flavorful! It was the perfect curry to top off their jasmine rice. The shrimp were really big, but flavor-wise, they were nothing extraordinary. Despite that, I think the curry portion really makes it a standout dish. Service was great, with our waiter constantly checking in with us and making sure we were having the best experience at the restaurant. Overall, it's a beautiful spot! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a slightly more upscale Thai spot in the area.

This was my nephew's first time trying Burmese cuisine and he was completely blown away. For our mains, I had the Shredded Mint Chicken, which was fragrant, fresh, and packed with flavor. My nephew ordered the Chili Lamb, and he loved every bite--rich, savory, and beautifully spiced. It was one of those meals where every dish delights, and you leave already thinking about what you'll order next time. The B S in Alameda doesn't have the same energy or coziness, but it is easier to access with safer parking (now windows broken there but I've had that here and been hassled walking to/from) and dramatically shorter waits. The diversity of the diners is much lower than this one though (Alameda is still mostly old white people) and the menu has more options here, so I'll continue to return again and again and recommend it to others ... and hope to not have to replace car windows.

Since they brought the dish with chopsticks, I told them I didn't need them, so they took them away. I used reusable chopsticks that I typically keep in my purse.
