I took a pair of high heeled boots to get resoled. I was…read morethrilled with the results, they looked as good as new. The turnaround time was the following week! And the price was very reasonable. This is more than a repair store. They sell shoelaces, aids for your feet, sandals, shoes, leather purses, leather wallets. They even sell power step sandals, which I didn't even know they made. They have earned my business.

I had a jacket and a purse that needed new zippers. (Well actually, the jacket just needed the part…read morethat the pull hooks onto, but apparently, one still has to replace the whole zipper.) I took my things in on a Friday and was told that they'd be done on Thursday. When I went to pick them up, the jacket was done but the purse wasn't. When I'd dropped the items off, I hadn't seen the "CASH ONLY" sign by the register, so I had to make sure I had money when I returned on Friday. They did a lovely job, and the people were friendly. It cost $18 for the jacket (which was only a $20 jacket to begin with!) and $16 for the purse. I don't know if those prices are good or not; they seemed high to me, but, on the other hand, I don't have the skill to do such repairs. But I wish the sign about not accepting anything but cash was on the door (although I understand why it's not); most people don't carry much cash these days, so it would be helpful to know the policy beforehand.

Awful. Long story short, I brought my purse in to get my strap fixed. The strap was done slanted…read moreand they did not follow the original stitch line--so, more holes are showing through. I told the man I was not happy with the job, and he offered to re-do it, but given how terrible the job was originally, I didn't feel comfortable giving it back to them. He also tried to convince me that the "good strap" was also slanted. It wasn't (see photos). I then said I was "sad" about the job they did. The guy proceeded to tell me that there are "worst things to be sad about" and then said how his "wife has cancer"... First of all, this dude does not know my life, or what I'm going through. I just wanted my purse fixed and it was the absolute worst job done, along with having awful attitude towards me. Why in the world would he say that to me? Absolutely terrible customer service. Worst experience I've ever had at a place like this. Terrible person. Treated me like dirt.

I took a burnt almond Brahmin purse in to have them resew the strap on. I could have done it…read moremyself, but I thought a shoe repair store would do a better job with a leather sewing machine. For no logical reason, they cut a part of the strap off. Then they did a really bad uneven sewing job with white thread instead of a matching brown thread. When I went in to talk to them about it, the guy was verbally abusive and screamed at me.
