Great store! Owner was very nice and showed us the right things to get for my basketball shoes. Owner was funny and cared for his buisness.

I went in here to get a pair of Coach boots on which I had lost the heel base on one boot. Also, I…read morehad a pair of cheapie Mudd heels that I also lost the heel bottom on, but I really like how they fit and figured if the repair was cheap enough then I'd go ahead and fix those too. I take them in to the no-frills, somewhat unkept sloppy shop (I don'[t really care about this as long as they do a good job, but it surprises me that people still operate businesses looking this shabby). He quotes me $14.95 each pair to fix the heels, and recommends that I get both pairs cleaned at a cool $27.95 each pair. With his accent, it could have been vice versa on the pricing, he was talking fast too. Uh, no....I am not paying almost $45 to fix a $20 pair of Mudd heels. Even $14.95 for the heel felt too much. After expressing this aloud, he finally says, "OK thirty dollars I do both!" I just agreed as not to argue any more, I hate that wheeler-dealer kind of sh- -. I want to go to a business, ask a price for something, get a straight answer, and determine whether or not I want to do it. Simple as that. I don't know how his original $90 schpiel wound up going down to $30 but it ticks me off thinking that if I'd have agreed to it, I'd have been ripped off. Besides, the Mudd heels are PV-frickin-C. I can "clean" those myself with a wet sponge. But, I figured $30 was fair enough to save my Coach boots, with my Mudd heels as a bonus. Other.... Plus side: They were fast, I didn't wait more than 15 minutes. Minuses: Cash only.

This is by far the worst shoe repair store I've ever been to. I felt bad for the old guy who owned…read moreit so I let him do the work. It was so bad that I had to take my boots to another repair place and have them redo the work which they charged me half as much money. The whole time I was there, he kept trying to push polishes and shoe creams, and sponges on me. He could barely see to do the work and I had to actually help him. It was ridiculous. Beyond that he kept telling really inappropriate jokes the whole time. He took a phone call from a customer ask you a question and he was extremely rude to them. I will never go back here.

Decided to wait a few days to write this cause I needed to calm down and not fire off a hot headed…read morereview. But I'm still get hot every time I look at them sneakers. I heard good things about the shoe doctor I brought in a few pairs of sneaks that needed attention. I was assured that all kicks would be done on the date discussed. One painted, one cleaned, last one was a restoration project. A tall task I know but again I was assured no task was too tall. And For the price I paid (I also over paid) all the kicks should've been immaculate upon the date discussed. A woman on the phone told me one number. Fresh (the painter) told me another number. I Didn't say nothing I let em have it. Charging it to the game thinking he would focus on my kicks cause I paid "extra". Just ended up getting finessed. The restoration joints were in a worse condition picking them up than what i brought them in (NO.. CAP...) midsole cracked up soles peeling off and the "paint job" was terrible.. I hate I ever brought them to ya. The other custom had flaws that was just painted over with white paint (their favorite color to use over there).. the last shoe just needed a simple cleaning.. Fresh just painted over the dirt and oxidation when i specifically asked him to use the oxidation remover creme to remove the oxidation on the bottoms. Shoe strings were still dirty too. The shop is nothing but a daycare for kicks. Cause they not cleaning them or restoring them. Them boys don't know how to clean the shoe strings fr... lbvs... I hoped for the best but expected some bs.. I'm never returning.. bringing you new business.. no recommendations to the homies no none of that. Way to kick off the new year Fresh
