I recently worked with 1701 Bespoke to get a pair of paints made...I literally brought Keith a photo and said, "Can we recreate this?" They turned out incredible! Keith was a rockstar and couldn't have been more personable or helpful. I couldn't recommend him enough. The reason I'm giving four stars is the time it took to get the pants made. I think they had some delays with their fabrics getting thru customs and then actually getting the pants created. All in all, it took about four months...and the communication during that time was a little spotty. But Keith was super apologetic and tried his best to get things done as quickly as he could. I am giving five stars with the huge caveat that we have t actually received the suit yet but the intake and initial meeting went so well that I had to leave a review. My wife needed a new custom suit and finding a suit for a woman who doesn't want to look like a man or a politician is basically impossible off the rack. She presents on the feminine side of androgynous and we met with Keith who was very receptive to meeting all her needs. He was incredibly knowledgeable and knew exactly where adjustments would need to be made to make a suit that fits a woman's body perfectly. He even offered to meet us nearer to our home for fittings since my wife's work schedule is so unpredictable. Can't wait to see the final product! read more

This place is awesome. Usually when you go in to appointments, it is fairly awkward. But this place doesn't have that vibe at all. The decor is amazing and airy, and the attention and care the worker gave us was amazing. Went in for an appointment about a wedding suit for the groom, and couldn't have been happier. They are friendly, detailed, and most importantly very knowledgable about their craft. The initial appointment is a hour long to get all of your measurements precisely done. Then on to fabric selection and all the options down to button type. There is a wide array of styles and quality of fabric to choose from. I just got back from the second fitting and the suit and shirt feel amazing and look great. Absolutely hate the attitude of Max, the founder. Cannot be more angry. Paying more than 3600 for a tux, people would expect a much better service than this. We went to the fitting and it was very apparent that the shirt was too small, but he kept saying that the shirt fits perfectly, trying to convince us to accept it as it is. The collar of the jacket is not as what we ordered, and we asked whether we could change it. He just said "no" without a convincing explanation, even after we said this is not what we agreed on. He didn't even go check the order information. I would think for all businesses you should receive what you ordered/paid for, right? During the whole fitting, he didn't provide any useful information except saying "it fits perfectly" or "it fits great" to everything that was obviously not perfect or great, trying to make us accept everything as it is. If you just expect us to accept everything, then why the fittings? If we cannot get what we agreed upon, why is this a bespoke service? I am not sure whether it is because he is unprofessional or just trying to fool us to get a business done quickly. Anyway, not coming back again, forever. read more

I had an appointment for a general inquiry meeting at the Birmingham location last July. Our meeting was scheduled for 11 am which I believe would have been the first meeting of the day. When we arrived the door was locked and nobody answered when we knocked. We waited around for about 20 minutes before we decided to leave. Before we left I had called their number and left a message and had sent them an email. It is now April, my wedding is over, and have not received any follow up email or phone call.
