Before Jerry dyed them, the boots were faded out from black. One was grayish, the other purple-ish and actually two different colors! I was a little hesitant to redye them with a shop I didn't know, but so glad I did. LOVE the result and am including a picture here. Jerry put rubber heel taps on the boots to preserve the heels, as he advised "it's better to pay $5.00 for the taps than $$ for replacing the heels." He used the good rubber taps (not the plastic ones you sometimes see). I found him to be prompt, courteous, and fair in his pricing. I definitely will be back!

Was fully prepared and expecting to leave them for a week or two for the alteration; I got lucky in that the leathersmith was on-site at that time. Explained what I wanted, and fifteen minutes later I was very pleased to be walking out with the altered belts. Reasonably priced, and the belts are perfect. Also, everyone I interacted with at the store was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. The leathersmith in particular. Another month passes and same arms peeling and noticed ottoman side missed....again contacted service and was told he was busy....I may have used water on area when I was told to use only recommended conditioner...he would have to look for product again among his stash of 1000's...& probably was outdated ....because " only good for 6 months"...& would have to charge again for service.....& I should be patient he'd get back to me...yada yada....after several calls.. the last on May 17th...i have given up on him ever returning.....I question the product he's using and terrible customer service. Such an ADORABLE store!!!…read more First of all, we came during the Art In The Park festival and it was 87 degrees with high humidity. Coming inside this store was soo refreshing!! The AC was so nice! The lady at the front is very friendly and greeted us. There are two floors and inside has so many unique trinkets and household items and clothes. We bought a bday card for my MIL because it had beautiful flowers on it and was a unique texture ($7). When checking out, the same lady who greeted us let us know the card envelope can be planted and it contains seeds!! So cool! I read later on their pamphlet that they also donate some of their proceeds to charities like World Vision. What a great store!

The store is in a beautiful Victorian house with merchandise on both floors. It's best to go through twice so you don't miss anything! The quality of the merchandise was excellent. There are great household goods as well as beautiful clothing. I would say most things were fairly priced as everything was good quality and on trend. Plan on spending some time here, come with a friend so you can help each other because there was only one person working at the cash register on the first floor. She was nice, but I really miss the days of having help when I shop!
