The store itself is open, with shoe products and boots for sale. The owner was super informative, friendly, communicative, and quick. I brought a pair of boots to see if the inner part could be fixed and he was kind to let me know there's nothing he could do because of the material. I appreciated his honesty and information on the material of my boot. Even though I wasn't able to get my boots fixed, he was very quick at changing my hubs watch battery. We'll definitely be back with any other shoe repairs/battery changes!

I first stopped at the local 12 Oaks Mall and the majority of the shoes that they have there are Nike brand. Not just one store but Foot Locker, Finish Line, Macys all Nike and a few other brands mixed in. I was looking for running shoes and Nikes running shoes are not for me. I stopped in and was greeted by the lovely Jess who went out of her way to check on me and talk to me several times before I made my purchase. She even offered to check online inventory if their was something I had an eye out for but didn't see it in stock. I was particularly impressed with her ability to explain what the soles on the bottom of the shoe are for and the difference between different running and terrain running shoes. In the end I went with a pair of Brooks running shoes and was very happy with the purchase and the price. It was the same price as Amazon so I was pleased with my purchase and Ashley at the register told us that there was a triple points coupon online that we wouldn't have known about otherwise to use on this purchase to get our rewards faster.

A gentleman was outside the open door on the sidewalk stoop having a cigarette and no way could he have missed me walking in. I waited inside for nearly 15 minutes listening to all kinds of conversation and swearing and such while he finished his cigarette and spoke with someone from a neighboring shop. I wasn't sure I should even interrupt it to ask for some help so I just walked out and he did not even stop or notice me walk out. I gets it's slow right now but you really need to watch for customers and be professional even when you are "taking a break". I will be going elsewhere for shoe and purse repair now as now I don't think I want to give my business here.
