I was so intrigued about how one could get a pedicure with absolutely, zero, water. Well, this caused me to look further into this business. The owner had me, one at her transformation pictures & videos of clients, but more so what she specializes and why. Well, after doing my research, I instantly thought of my mom benefiting greatly from her services because she is the ideal candidate. I mean, I too, can benefit as well, but it was more important for my mom to get this service because she and her feet are at risk. She suffers from diabetes and has had chemotherapy in the past. I understand the importance of caring for one's feet who suffers from diabetes. It's best to have someone who specializes and who has the certifications and specialized training to address and care for feet that's at risk. Or one's feet who needs a little extra TLC. I reached out early in the morning to see if they could accommodate me on a very busy Friday after work due to a change in my schedule. They were able to fit me in - but I know that wasn't easy because it is a very busy salon. 2. I brought in a PRESS ON NAIL to show them the look, the color, and the shape I wanted . We had a laugh comparing the colors until we mutually agreed on a close matching shade I liked. Christine was very diligent explaining it would be a little darker that the press on. At that point, I wanted my toes to match. Although she didn't have time to do a full pedicure, she very graciously offered to change my toenail polish, which I gladly paid for! Even with a polish change, she was so conscientious in trimming and shaping my nails. 3. Dip powder with new tips. Let me start with this: I haven't had great experiences lately. Without going into all the details let's just say my former salon was failing. Something changed after my preferred manicurist left. I was getting thick, blobby, wavy nails, chrome finish dimpling and denting, a cut foot, and ripped cuticles. Here is where Christine absolutely knocked it out of the park. Communicating with me the entire time, at every step, making sure everything was exactly what I wanted and asked for. Even with adding new tips she was able to keep them slimmer profile and that takes EXTRA care. She was so kind and caring that I am absolutely thrilled. Now they're going to be stuck with me.. I got them done June 11th and it is the 24th and two of them are peeling off and two have already completely fallen off. Needless to say I'm disappointed because it was over $100 for a pedicure gel, and my acrylic nails. I didn't even get or massage so I don't know if you have to ask for that separately anymore. Maybe I'm out of the game when it comes to nail prices but I would expect quality if I spent over $100. It's always a relaxing environment when I go. I rarely have time for self-care, so this is another reason why I'm disappointed.
