Tamale Kitchen delivers on its name--the tamales are excellent, packed with flavor and just the right texture. But beyond that, the menu is hit or miss. This plate of fries looks like a greasy, overloaded mess, and consistency across dishes is lacking. If you're here for tamales, you won't be disappointed. Just be careful with the rest of the menu, as some items don't live up to the same standard. Service is quick, but quality control could use some work. read more

The staff here is incredibly rude. They yelled at my mother after she waited 20 minutes in line to order. I'm not sure how their line could possibly reach 20 minutes long other than incompetence though, because I don't think the food is worth more than a 5 minute wait. Much better places around that actually appreciate customers instead of berate them after 20 minutes waiting, just to place an order, in my opinion. read more

I will say, part of the menu board was hard/impossible to read with the way they have it set up. I had to pull up, read the combos, then back up and enter the drive thru. I would say that the strange drive thru configuration may impact you if you have a handicap and cannot lean far over your passenger seat to get your order and pay so keep that in mind if handicapped.
