My daughter is a student at WSU and called me to tell me her car's brakes were squeaking. I found…read moreHeritage Auto Repair on Yelp and saw their high rating, so I called on a Friday afternoon and spoke with AJ. He was able to schedule an inspection for Monday morning and quickly put our minds at ease that everything is just fine and safe. I really appreciate their choice of honesty over opportunity. Thanks AJ and crew at Heritage Auto Repair!

I would strongly caution anyone considering Heritage Auto Repair…read more We brought in our 2018 Nissan Murano because of a screeching noise. Heritage diagnosed the problem as a serpentine belt and tensioner and charged us over $560 to replace them. The very next morning the exact same noise returned. When we contacted them again and sent a video, they told us it was actually a wheel bearing issue and quoted another $1,150 for repairs. At this point we lost confidence and sought another opinion. A different shop diagnosed the actual problem immediately: the transfer case, which explained the noise and the acceleration issues. So to summarize: * Heritage charged us $560 for a repair that did not fix the problem * They then misdiagnosed the issue again as wheel bearings * The real issue was the transfer case, which they completely missed What is most concerning is that they were prepared to perform another $1,150 repair that would not have solved the problem either. Good mechanics diagnose problems before charging customers for unnecessary work. This experience felt like guessing at repairs while the customer pays the bill. I would recommend anyone experiencing drivetrain or noise issues get a second opinion before authorizing repairs here.

Just reviewing the gas station. They also have a mechanic shop that does small work like oil…read morechanges or tire rotation. Maybe more but I can't vouch to that so I would call or check their online Facebook page. Chevron gas outside and a touch-less car wash. A few parking spaces but nothing wild. Generally you pull in to fill up or hit the convenience store and leave. Can be a problem potentially for graduation, game, or parent weekends but this part of Pullman doesn't see a lot of traffic. Inside the store has the essentials. Alcohol. Cigarettes. Snacks and all the usual drinks you'd expect anywhere else. You can purchase lotto tickets and "put twenty dollars on pump ten" if that's your style. Some hot food but it's certainly questionable. Give the other reviews a view. Works in a pinch but it's not a brand new station. Just some nice people and depending on the day the cheapest gas in town.

So this is a review on the oil shop not the mart but as I sit in the waiting room while my car is…read moregetting an oil change the 2 gentleman working today can be heard through the window quite regularly complaining and cursing up a storm about something. I'm not sure what their beef was but the cursing was out of control for being in ear shot of customers. What if I had kids with me? That's my only complaint the oil change itself went fine. Just unprofessional workers today. If it's any consolation this is the first time I have experienced this which is why I gave it an ok rating vs bad.

LOL at this repair shop. First off, they are extremely overpriced. I feel like an idiot getting…read morefixes on my car here. I spent over $4,000 for a new power steering pump, alignment, and they somehow found that my steering was still not straight (even though it was not an issue before) so they called me and told me everything they needed to do. Since I travel for work 5 days a week, I felt I had no choice but to let them continue and finish the service. When I brought the final cost and services to a different auto repair shop, they felt so bad for me for spending the money I did. That's when I knew I made a big, big mistake. They also don't have an issue pressuring you into making sure they get to work on your car. They want to overcharge and take advantage of people who have little to no car maintenance experience. They also take too long to get simple repairs done. I had my car dropped off for the above service. During that time, I needed to get a rental because they didn't have any loaner cars available (according to them). They promised me it would only take 2 days. I called every day for 4 days and then they changed the pick up day/time for the following day. Finally was ready. BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!! I drove about 5 miles and started hearing noises as I drove on the main road. I took it back and they said my struts were worn out and they needed to be replaced. I asked them how did they not catch that during my initial service? They told me they didn't hear anything during the test drive and they didn't do anything to those parts of the car. BULLCRAP! They did a wheel alignment (or did they?). I took it to Les Schwab and they said my struts were fine that they were just loose and they did what they did for free and sent me on my way. My assumption for that is they want to take their sweet a$$ time so they can charge more for labor costs. So many issues with this crap auto repair company. I encourage anyone who is thinking of getting services done here to go elsewhere. Literally anywhere else in Moscow or Pullman. Heck, travel to Spokane/CDA if you have to. It will save you so much time, money and frustrations!

I don't usually write poor reviews because I believe myself to be a pretty understanding person but trying to get support regarding paperwork and defects with the car was so hard and time consuming. I was on and off the phone with the finance department trying to get copies of my paperwork, which I never actually received unfortunately. Eventually I gave up on that, but I did contact the service department right after receiving the car because of a headlight that was out upon receiving the car. The man on the phone was super kind and helpful. He worked with me and led me to believe that they would make things right, while being grateful I invested my money in one of their vehicles. The situation was a little more complex since I live in Boise Idaho so he had to escalate it to his supervisor who never called me like they said they would. I called back after a few weeks of waiting, got transferred to numerous people who then transferred me to other people and they told me they wouldn't replace it like they previously promised. They actually asked for the staff's name who told me that because they would be in trouble. I didn't remember the staff's name but that feels wrong that they would be in trouble for trying to give good customer service. Whatever Management staff I had talked to weren't understanding of my situation and sounded like they didn't care or wasn't their problem. Moral of the story, the customer service was great until it was not. Unfortunately, they were super unhelpful and hard to reach. You may wait weeks for what would seem like a simple solution, whether that's the service department or finance department you are trying to reach. All of the work I put in just to not be able to fix the problem I had. It was really upsetting. I have since let it go but it is pretty frustrating receiving a car, which was supposed to be inspected before purchase, that has a major defect like a headlight system. I have not gotten it fixed yet (It's been 3 months) which is not only a road violation at night, but a large expense I have to work into my budget now. I was not there in person so that could be a totally different experience for in person customers. I would not recommend having it delivered, it's sketchy, they put miles on the car since they don't use a truck, they only take cash for the rest of the deposit, and really hard to resolve issues with them since "The car left the dealership in working condition".
