On June 21, 2023, I requested an oil change service, which came with complimentary inspections. This isn't the first time I've gotten a loose reinstallation for my engine air filter! They inspected it and asked if I wanted to replace the filter to which I said no. They were busy that day, and clearly didn't bother putting my filter's parts back properly! I will never go here again or any Jiffy Lube locations. Honestly, I feel sorry for the Jiffy Lube corporation for having to have those employees in there. The reason is because every single time I go in there and ask for something they give me some bull crap about how they can't even do the job, so they're just sitting there getting paid for nothing. So then I go to another shop and they tell me oh no Jiffy Lube does that all the time they're always lying and saying things cannot be done. They wouldn't change my oil and anytime they do. They screw it up last time. They didn't put the thread back on right and so I had to have a new thread put on by another shop. I really can't stand the Jiffy Lube here. Those guys get paid just to stand around and tell people they can't do the job. It could just be because I'm a woman I don't know enough about cars to know when they're just full of crap. read more

I went in for an oil change and they recommended replacing my air filter. Filter was $90 so I declined and got one at auto zone for $20. This review is not about the price though. I got home and when I went to change my filter there were a couple disturbing things I found. 1. The hose clamp connecting the intake hose to the housing cover was never retightened. That allows dirt and debris to enter without going through the filter. Thankfully I changed it the same day. 1/2 of the clips that hole the housing cover on were undone, also bad finding. Then I remove the filter and inder it was a mess of debris and dead bugs so although not replacing there, they couldn't have to common courtesy to wipe or clean that out? No we will put it back in, with all that crap and not even latch or tighten it down. I guess shame on me for not buying a filter at more than 3x the cost. Not going back, have lost all trust and now I'm going through my entire truck to see if I can find other things that were "overlooked". Horrible experience. read more

Literally baffled at the lack of care at this shop. I primarily did my own oil changes but decided to come here a second time so I wouldn't have to deal with an oil spill in my garage etc. First of all, Dante is the most rude, inconsiderate man i've ever had the displeasure of speaking to. He told me to pull my car around back to which I told him I cannot get my car over the speed bump without damage. He then gave me a snarky look and said it won't be able to get in the bay if it can't go over the bump. I then told him they've done it before, to which he said he will go check and let me know. 40 minutes later he says nothing to me so I ask him nicely if they will be able to work on it. He says yes and I continue waiting, 4 hours later they finally finish my car! YAY! Until I get home and there is smoking coming from under the hood. I pop the hood and there is oil ALL over my engine bay, top to bottom. I call and Shaun told me to come in 7 am the next day to get it looked at. I get there at 7:15 the next morning and noone is there, then at 7:35 Dante tells me he has to open shop and then he'll come out. Well an hour and 15 minutes later they finally get to touching my car. The mechanic who worked on it told me he spilled a "ton" of oil in my engine bay (even on my pigtail connectors&wires) when filling it and they dropped my oil filter, spilling oil into my bumper and leaving it pooled in there. No one told me this until I brought it up and there was no compensation. I paid nearly $200 for an oil change+engine flush here just to have my car be covered in oil, my bumper damaged and offered a "discount" for next time. As if i'd let these inept "mechanics" touch my car ever again. The mechanic was super apologetic and offered more help and care than Dante the "manager" did. I wouldn't even be mad because things happen if someone at least TOLD me it happened, horrible. read more

Been holding on to this for a while. Got my oil changed in December and they didn't tighten up the oil filter all the way, and drove maybe 1k miles before most of the the oil came out, before driving to work. Oil light came on on my way home and I stopped and had the car towed to my regular mechanic. Found out it was a failure at the oil filter. My mechanic replace the oil and filter and I drove. It sounded funny, so I called Jiffy Lube to let them know there was a problem. Store Manager was nice, but the regional manager came out and looked at the car and told me that it sounded like the lifters were damaged as a result and the engine would need to be replaced. He reccomended that they warranty the car for the next year, and they woudl reimburse me for my cost. My mechanic said car was ok, but since the guy from jiffy lube was telling me engine needed to be replace I had them do a second opinion. I took it to the mechanic they used and the looked at it for 20 mins and said again car is fine, he would drive it to FL. They did offer me a warraranty for the car for the next year (and reimbursement for the oil I had to replace it with) if I would sign that it was not their fault. They also had said that they would only pay out 4k and keep the car since that was the KBB. (engine replacement is 7K and fair market value is almost 13K for one with more miles and a lower trim package but closest I can find to what I have.) Because their guy initially told me the car engine was bad I'm stressed driving the car. It is louder, it doesn't pick up the same. but at this point it is probably just stress. Talked to Brandon M. who owns all the Jiffy Lubes in the area. I've been told by Curtis that the car has a bad engine, so I'm still really concerned with the car, and being left with a car loan and no car, (4k won't fix the car and Curtis had said if they "totalled" it the car would be theirs.) Brandon had said "I'm not going to pay $7k for a car that is worth $4k." and all I'm worried about is having transportation that was as reliable as I had before the last oil change at jiffy lube. Even if the car was paid for the total out of pocket is less to repair the engine and keep the car than to sell it to him at the old KBB value. It would cost me $9k (13k-4K they offered =$9K out of pocket) to replace the car or $7k to replace the engine, so if the car blows I'm out more than jiffy lube in this situation. Whole time Brandon is treating me like I'm trying to get one over on him, and have him pay off my loan or get something free out of him. All I wanted was some peace of mind that I would have transportation if the mistake left me without it. Now let's be honest here is what they did to help me out... 20 minutes of service to look at the car. They put a tamper plug on the car, they did drain the oil and look for metal and replace the filter (it better stay put, cause I can't afford to fix this dang car if they broke it). Growing up my family owned a business and I know things can get tight in families like that. We have always tried to live well below our means, which sometimes means buying an older but reliable car, and with all cars if you have a loan you have some negative equity in the car. I also grew up Mormon, and believe that you should be honest in your dealings with your fellow man, which I don't think that Brandon or Curtis got the same moral lessons in sunday school I did. I have never been to a Jiffy Lube that was as thorough (while still being efficient) and friendly as the team here. Everyone was extremely kind! Out of all the other locations I've been to, this is the only one to check my tire pressure without being asked to, they cleaned my windows and vacuumed my car. I have been going to this store for 5 years. The last two visits to get an oil change I asked the workers to check my breaks. I was nearing 100,000 miles and concerned about the break pads wearing out. Every time they told me that they were fine. Today I go into the store and the workers inform me that my rotors are warped and rusted. They informed me that it would be $900 to fix the problem. This could have been addressed so much sooner. I found out they never were checking my breaks. To check the breaks they needed to take the tires off and they never did that until today. I asked them to inform me when the break pads looked worn down every single time I was in and they always said they looked great. I asked them this so that I could save myself the money and drama of having to replace the whole break, rotors etc. They didn't offer me a discount or any additional help other than saying they were now under new management and sorry I wouldn't be getting my breaks replaced with them. Not honest work and very disappointing. I trusted the mechanics to tell me when it was time for new break pads. I am a woman and they were relying on me going to them and listening to anything they said and took advantage of this. Jiffy Lube in Pullman offers a lot more services than most Jiffy Lube service centers and their honesty, prices, and quality can't be beat. This alone is not why I'm gIving them a five-star rating. It's the amazingly thoughtful, tiresome, dedicated, knowledgeable, and talented people at this Jiffy Lube that make this place worthy of more than a five-star rating. The owner and the team here make the difference that matters. There is no one else I'd trust for the services they offer. Oil change, safety checks, top off fluids, wiper blades, replacing all rotors and brake pads - it's all been fantastic, and they've absolutely gone above and beyond expectations many times over the years (and especially this week). Had an oil change done here over the summer before we left town for a 300mi drive and by the end of the drive there was absolutely no oil left in the car. I took my car in here and got a simple oil change. Within a couple weeks I noticed a big oil leak and took it into imported car services. There I found out that they didn't tighten the OIL DRAIN all the way. I spent $333 for imported car services to clean up all the oil and fill my oil back up. I would not go back to this place if they gave me the oil change for free. Did an oil change on a 2020 Ram. They did not tighten the filter or the plug. Jiffy Lube Pullman would no stand by their work. Said it was past 3 months 3000 miles. As we all know, in new vehicles, an oil change last longer than 3 months 3000 miles. They even stated this at Jiffy Lube. This little lack of detail almost left us stranded in Spokane. Took the Ram to Lithia in Spokane. Thanks to Steve, he got us in and out with an oil change and clean up of under carriage oil mess. Through the RAM Dealer, our next oil change is due in 5000 miles by their recommendation. They did not set a date. Nice to know Jiffy Lube Pullman does not stand by their work. We will not return. I've changed my oil many times and have never had both the oil filter and plug lose and leaking oil. This what RAM diagnosed. Came in before the holidays to get an oil change, and a few days later on a long-distance drive, my oil pan comes loose underneath the car. Had to go to another Jiffy Lube location to get it "fixed", although all they did was remove it. Returned to this location to have it re-attached, and lo and behold, it comes off again a few days later. Done. Shoddy workmanship, and the windshield-crack service is terrible, too. They didn't fix any of the three chips in my windshield, all of which look exactly the same as they did before a technician here "fixed" them. read more

Alfonso who works there came back in and told me it was not time for my oil change yet that they had not reset the oil change indicator. Curtis the regional manager is unhelpful and his store manager in Pullman is arrogant and rude. They had me purchase my oil elsewhere since they didn't have it. I explained my oil filter was brand new and needed to keep it. Was told that's OK so I went and purchased my oil. Upon returning, they refused to do it after I spent the money on the oil. My daughter returned home from WSU on December 21, 2018 and parked her 1996 4 Runner in the drive way. After a few days, I noticed a fair amount of oil on the pavement and drove it into the garage to take a look. Initially, I thought it was something else but crawled underneath the vehicle and noticed oil leaking from the oil filter. I reached up and was able to tighten the filter at least a full 1/2 turn before it even got the least bit tight. I checked the oil and it was down a approximately 2 to 3 quarts. This service had been done by this shop on October 29, 2018. I called and spoke to Andrew at your location in Pullman and informed him of what I had found and the lack of thoroughness. Andrew suggested I take the vehicle to a local Jiff Lube to get the oil topped off and looked at. I arrived and explained the situation and what had happened and after about 45 minute wait the vehicle we brought into the bay. Shortly after, (about 10 minutes) the manager asked for me to follow him into the bay and under the vehicle where he show the the significant amount of oil that had spayed all over the undercarriage of the vehicle. In addition, both the manager and service tech identified other things that should have been checked and were not by your shop in Pullman. However these are items that are routinely checked during your service and signed off on as being complete, To say the least horrible job! I usually get my oil changed at either Meineke or Oil Can Henry's, were it seems they do a more thorough job, but I was in and out of here in about 10 minutes. Who knows if that's an indication of efficiency or incompetence. The staff were friendly and helpful. Just like at any other car maintenance place, they try to upsale you on everything. Sometimes it is warranted, and others, not so much. I got the signature service oil change and it was $40.99 plus the cost of the oil, which came out to a total of $45.98. I did use an $8 off coupon that I found online, so that brought it down to an affordable price. With that price, they also vacuum out your interior and wipe your windows and they will top off your fluids for free between service visits. Overall, I'll come back only as a last resort. read more

They not only missed a major tear in the tire which was extremely unsafe and was lucky to get fixed elsewhere, but they even forgot update my windshield sticker or give me the 5$ discount from the sticker. The reason I'm writing this review is because one of the employees stole my change I had in my cupholder. Even though it was approximately $2 in quarters, this is still unacceptable. I noticed as soon as I got back into my car, but did not have proof to get out and ask them about it. I felt like I was being arrested when I pulled up. The employee walked up and opened my door and asked me to step out and leave the keys in the ignition in an aggressive tone. Did not catch the name of this employee, but Zach in the lobby was very nice and helpful. He rang me up and honored the $10 off coupon for a signature oil change and a coolant top off which ended up being $45. Overall the entire process took about 20 minutes, which was nice. Had an awesome experience both times I went here. Very friendly and helpful staff - held every door for me, vacuumed my car, and pulled it right up to the door for me after it was finished. Took a little bit of time to figure out the right type of oil, but they weren't pushy and even called the Jiffy Lube in Idaho to see what kind of oil had been used there previously. I took my car in a few months ago for a tune up/oil change. The employee said my air filter was bad and would change that too. In addition, he said he checked fluid levels etc. This week I took my car to my regular tune up place and come to find out that the air filter is missing, the oil is well over due for a change (even though according to jiffy it still had several hundred miles left) and the transmition fluid is dangerously low and as a result caused damage to the transmition. As a result, I am now paying over $1000 for repairs to damage that could have been prevented had jiffy done their job. read more

Had the worst customer service today by the older gentlemen with glasses. The guy made me feel stupid as shit and continued to be rude to where another employee, I believe her name was stephanie, apologized for his behavior. When I was leaving he didn't even say goodbye or give me a report or anything. He also didn't even top off all of the fluids I went in for, so im pretty sure he just blew my service off which is crappy for him considering my boyfriend and his family spend a good amount of money through you guys but after he heard about my experience today and comparing it to others he's had from what seems to be the same gentleman, he and his family will be discontinuing their service with Jiffy lube all together. read more
